Welcome to the Point Matanzas Beach Retreat!

***Beginning 11/17/2025, a retaining wall renewal project will begin along the intracoastal. This work will continue until about June 2026. There may be some noise outside associated with the work being done as they move closer to the unit. We expect the pool to remain open, but the dock will close when the work moves to that area (we don’t have dates for this yet). Please reach out with any questions.***

Riverfront Condo with the best location! Night and day fishing from our private dock. There is a boat dock that is private to Point Matanzas guests. It is for loading/unloading and fishing only. There is no overnight docking or storage of boat trailers. There is a local place called Devil's Elbow where you should be able to store your boat overnight for a fee.

EASY ACCESS TO THE ATLANTIC OCEAN AT CRESCENT BEACH! JUST CROSS OVER A1A @ GREEN STREET TO THE DEDICATED BEACH DUNES BOARDWALK TO THE SANDY BEACHES FOR GREAT SURFING, OCEAN SWIMMING AND BEACHCOMBING.

RARE WATERFRONT LIVING right on the MATANZAS RIVER with fabulous views. Watch the ships pass by; swim & sun in the gated RIVERFRONT POOL overlooking the MATANZAS RIVER. You may even see manatees or dolphins! Spectacular sunsets!

Private screened entry porch, covered patio in back with SPECTACULAR WATER VIEWS (you may see dolphins or turtles as well), open sunny UPPER DECK BALCONY WITH PANORAMIC WATER VIEWS. Parking directly in front of unit with additional parking onsite. First floor shower/bathroom; full open concept kitchen with large modern round table and chairs. Tastefully furnished living room with comfy seating. Updated with luxury vinyl plank flooring/draperies/paint/granite kitchen counters. Private Entrance.

Open stairs with iron railings to upstairs; large main bedroom with KING bed and quality linens, large closet, floor to ceiling window/doors with adjoining Sunset Viewing patio; full bathroom with tub/shower is shared with spacious second bedroom with two queen-sized beds and a large window. Separate adjoined laundry room off the kitchen.

The history of St. Augustine is incomparable with almost any other on our coast. Founded in 1565 it is chock full of amazing places to visit, from the oldest house to the first schoolroom, to the impenetrable fort built by the Spanish. Lincolnville, just south of downtown St. Augustine takes you on a walking tour of the history of the civil rights movement noting where Martin Luther King stayed on numerous occasions. Needless to say, there’s also so many unique shops, and the restaurants are so varied and truly have an international flavor! There are things to do no matter the weather! You can take a free boat ride to Fort Matanzas and learn the history about the battles fought. Further south is Marineland where you can swim with dolphins!

The St. Augustine and St Johns County area have a great variety of golf courses for players of every level and skill. There are always concerts at St. Augustine Amphitheatre and events at Francis Field as well. You will never run out of things to do here in St. Augustine. It is probably one of the most beautiful places in all of Florida, and for sure one of the most photographed! Come and see for yourself!

The cleaning company provides a limited amount of basic necessities (toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher/laundry soap, etc.) to get you started, you will want to bring some with you.

Service Animals: Pets are not allowed at our beach retreat. If you bring a pet, we will charge your damage deposit for a pet fee plus $100 for the unexpected extra services required to clean the house and you will risk cancellation of your booking. You must let us know if you are bringing a service animal, it's important to let the cleaners know and the office of the condo.

We don't offer refunds or reschedule stays during hurricane season, even if there is an evacuation order. Please purchase trip insurance for your stay if this is a concern.
