Recién llegados de nuestra semanita en París, inolvidable por muchos motivos; entre ellos el apartamento escogido, fantásticamente situado, con todas las comodidades y con toda la información por parte de Jean-Michel. Jamás olvidaremos las vistas desde el apartamento y aunque es una calle bulliciosa no se oía nada, funcionaba todo a la perfección, aire acondicionado, lavadora, lavavajillas, cafetera, no le faltaba detalle. El apartamento es tal cual se ve en las fotos, todo absolutamente limpio. En la zona hay de TODO, restaurantes, tiendas, supermercados, la entrada del metro está en el portal, no hay ni que cruzar la calle. Hemos ido andando a muchos sitios con lo cual el ahorro en metro también es importante. En fin, hemos acertado y lo recomendaré, sin duda. Sonia

Good selection

We stayed from 3 to 15 July in Lafayette and Printemps apartments. We did not only enjoyed sightseeing Paris but also staying with our family in the apartments. Quiet building, good location, views (all windows across the Parvis de l’Hotel de Ville and Notre Dame), Rooms size and cleanliness, equipment, crockery and appliances, can‘t be better. Accessibility to all Paris should be highlighted: We identified 14 bus line stops,3 Metro and 1 RER stations plus taxi and Velib parking in the near vicinity.. Owners treat you as friends.

Great Stay

Great apartment in a wonderful location, a metro stop is directly outside the door and there is an excellant bakery around the corner we had breakfast at every morning. The air conditioner works well.

Amazing apartment and location

This was our first trip to Paris & we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect apartment for our stay! The space accommodated our family of 4 (2 teens- ages 14 & 18). The apartment itself was clean and quaint. The location was perfect! The metro stop is literally outside the door…and the view of the Hotel de Ville was amazing! I can’t say enough about this place…it was just perfect as was our host - very responsive and helpful! We hope to come back again in the future!

The property was very comfortable and great location. So many shops and restaurants to walk to and the metro is so convenient. The apartment was fully stocked and so charming. We are from Florida and were very impressed with the A/C. The master bed was very comfortable.

This apartment was perfection. Location was excellent. Size of apartment was very comfortable for a family of 4. The washer/dryer came in handy as we traveled light. Very good communication with owner. AC worked well and was much needed after hot days exploring. We would stay there again without hesitation.

Paris Perfection!

Cannot find the words to do justice to this wonderful apartment. The location is perfect—you can lie in bed and look at Notre Dame out of your window! The apartment itself is quintessentially French from the wood floors to the furniture to the architecture. The exceptions: modern bath and kitchen with new top of the line appliances and EXCELLENT air conditioning. As an ice tea lover, I especially appreciated the icemaker in the frig door! Jean-Michel has overlooked nothing in creating a comfortable, beautiful home for his guests and is readily available for any questions. We never wanted to leave.

Great apartment - no elevator from ground floor

Well located and nice apartment. We struggled to carry our luggage up curved stairway, no elevator until we walked up one flight of stairs. The listing was deceptive about the lack of elevator from the ground floor.

Outstanding Stay

Selfishly, I’m hesitant to even leave a review as I want to be sure this apartment is available when I’m able to return. I could not have been more impressed with the location, quality of the apartment, and the owner’s attentiveness. This was my family’s first time to Paris, and if we return we will certainly book this exact property. As much as you know you need to leave this space each day to see all that Paris has to offer, you almost want to stay in to enjoy the apartment for the view from the bedrooms and living room. Easily 10/10.

Enjoy the Marais area of Paris

This was a great area to stay during our Paris visit.The Metro was at our front door. We were within walking distance of Notre Dame, as well as many restaurants and shops. A wonderful grocery store around the corner where we stocked up on breakfast items, drinks, (including french wine, of course) and food, as needed,The apartment was SPOTLESS and just as described and pictured in the listing. Our host was accessible by phone as needed, however his pre-trip information was accurate and easy to follow, and we did not have the need to contact him during our stay.He has put together a "guide book" for both the apartment and the neighborhood, which was waiting for us on the kitchen table when we arrived. It was VERY helpful and he is clearly an experienced host. We would recommend this apartment and neighborhood for anyone considering a stay in Paris. It sleeps 4 comfortably, as noted in the description, and the location is excellent.Thank you.

Our 5th Time

We've stayed in the Lafayette five times since 2013 and every time we walk through the door, it feels like home. The Marais is the perfect neighborhood in Paris and we wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Lovely Apartment!

We just got back from our wonderful stay. Everything about the apartment exceeded expectations. It was easy to find, spotlessly clean, well stocked and comfortable. The location is close to everything, we enjoyed having a glass of wine in the living room while gazing out at Notre Dame. The size was perfect for our group of four. Jean-Michel is very kind and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about it. I will absolutely stay here again the next time I’m in Paris!

Ideal location to explore Paris

Had the most magical stay in Paris for a week. Apartment was spacious and comfortable for our family. Very clean, even had robes and slippers for all of us! Metro stop was right out front from which we could explore the city. So many restaurants and shops in the neighborhood, just ideal in every way.

Incredible apartment - Best location and so French!

This apartment blew us away how beautiful it was and what an amazing view and location it was in! It's a quintessential French looking apartment with herringbone wood floors, tall ceilings, French furniture and shuttered windows that fully open up and overlooks Place de L'Hotel de Ville. The kitchen was fully stocked, with a Nespresso maker, regular coffee maker and electric tea kettle. They even left a nice basic of snacks! The bathtub was huge and amazing (bring your bubble bath!), a large shower with a rain shower head, plus a heated towel warmer. Jean-Michel was a wonderful host, answered all my questions quickly and was so kind. The instructions in the booklet in the apartment, were very thorough for everything you need. The appliances were all new. The only thing there wasn't, was a stove, but the microwave had a 'crisper' option, which I didn't really use, but it helped with warming up our croissants. The area is incredible! Half a block from the BHV department store, lots of shopping and restaurants nearby as well as a Metro stop right out front! It was so convenient. The beds were incredibly comfortable too! There was a portable heater as we were there in November so it was nice to use from time to time. We felt it was spacious and had a slider door to close off the 2 twin beds/ dining area from the living room area. We absolutely had the BEST time and this apartment was incredible! I would go back again and again. Look no further!

Amazing location

Our trip could not have been better. The rental was beautiful, clean, big and well stocked with everything we needed. Very quiet even though we were on a busy street. The owner was kind, thoughtful and so easy to communicate wit. Numerous restaurants, cafes, bakeries in close proximity. The Metro station was 5 meters from the front door of the complex. I highly recommend and look forward to staying here again soon.

Great location for first time Paris visit!

Everything was excellent with this property. So many good shops and restaurants in the Marias neighborhood and only a few minutes walk to N Dame, Sainte-Chapelle, etc… In a bustling location with some street noise at night but not past midnite and never a serious problem. Would definitely stay again here if we return to Paris.

Amazing Location, Beautiful Apartment

Traveling with two children (ages 8 and 10), we couldn’t have asked for a better location. The apartment is perfectly situated, just steps away from a metro station, making it incredibly easy to explore all the iconic sights. Many attractions were within walking distance, allowing us to soak in the charm of Paris every day. The building itself has a beautiful vintage character, adding to the authentic Parisian experience. Inside, the apartment was well-furnished, blending classic style with modern comforts. It provided everything we could have wished for—a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and a cozy living area perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. One of the highlights of our stay was how safe we felt both inside the building and while coming and going, regardless of the time of day or night. The neighborhood was welcoming and peaceful, giving us peace of mind as we explored the city. The host was attentive and ensured our stay was seamless. We felt right at home and had an amazing trip that we will cherish for years. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a central, charming, and safe place to stay in Paris!

Superb

The apartment was perfect for our stay: beautifully decorated, inviting, very well equipped, spacious and really comfortable. We were absolutely delighted with our stay at the Lafayette. The location couldn’t have been better - so easy to get anywhere either by walking or hopping on the Metro or a bus right outside the front door.
