River Front Cottage with Breathtaking view of Allegheny River

Enjoy a peaceful, relaxing, and fun filled stay in River House, our beautifully renovated home sitting directly on the Allegheny River. With breathtaking seasonal scenery as the backdrop, our peaceful retreat is the perfect place to unwind and recharge.
Indulge in all the seasonal outdoor activities: endless opportunities for hiking, fishing, riding (two bikes on the property for use), golfing, hunting, or kayaking/floating on the river. There is a walking trail literally behind the property which will soon become part of the Allegheny River Trail. Work is slated to start this summer!!! Presently, the finished part of the Allegheny River Trail is less than ½ mile from the house. Launch your kayak right from the property with direct easy river access.
River House offers beautiful views of the Allegheny river where ducks and geese float by daily. Right out our front door is some of the best fishing in the North Eastern part of the United States!. Our beautiful home sits on the end of a dead end street. So peaceful. We have a fully stocked kitchen, in case you decide to cook up a feast!
River house sleeps up to 6 comfortably with 2 cozy bedrooms, one queen bed, one double bed, and an additional queen size sofa bed in the main room. There are 2 fire pits on the property. One in the backyard and a seasonal one by the river’s edge. The backyard is also equipped with a grill and an outdoor shower to wash off from the river after a day of fun.
If you must "log on", the WiFi will support all of your needs. There are 2 streaming televisions with Netflix included.
Conveniently located less than 3 miles from Interstate 80. We are located right on the edge of the downtown area of Emlenton, PA and two blocks away from a supermarket. River House is only 5 miles away from Foxburg Winery and less than a 30 minute drive from the towns of Clarion, Grove City, and Slippery Rock, PA. Surrounded by State Game Lands, it is also about a 45 minute drive from Cook’s Forest and the Allegheny National Forest.
