Poolside Getaway with Hot Tub for Two
*** Pool decking is being renovated however there are 3 other pools for you to enjoy***
Escape the stresses of everyday life for a week or weekend with the person you love!

Why rent a hotel room when you can enjoy a private cottage (king size bed) with a well-equipped kitchen, coffee bar, and dry bar. Off the screened-in porch is a private hot tub for two. Just steps away is a semi-private pool.

Located in a private HOA within Tan-Tar-A Estates, this wooded cottage community has a pool serving 15 houses available during the summer season. A stairway from the community parking pad winds down a hill past several cottages to the Love Shack. Formerly a clubhouse for the cottage community and now a private home, the screened-in porch of our spacious getaway (900 square feet) is located at the edge of the swimming pool with a view of the 7th fairway.

The open design main living area features a sectional sofa, dry bar, dining area, and well equipped kitchen. The kitchen is stocked with coffee, tea, flour, sugar, salt, pepper, oils, spices and cooking essentials including a coffee bar. Smart t.v.’s are located in both the living area and bedroom plus free WIFI is available. Bedroom features a king size bed. Washer and dryer are just off the kitchen. Propane grill is available. General amenities also include linens, towels, hair dryer, soap, lotion, shampoo, hair conditioner, and climate control. Keyless entry makes check in and check out easy. Tan-Tar-A’s two swimming pools (mid-May through mid-September) are also available to our renters. Be certain to bring your own beach towels for use at the swimming pool and lake.

Margaritaville Resort is just ½ a mile away with additional indoor and outdoor swimming pools, dining options, bars, shopping, lake access, boat and slip rentals, golf, and miniature golf (separate fees for Margaritaville amenities).

All amenities at the Resort are open to the public, except the fitness center and Tradewinds Pool. Mostly awesome!

Hot tub and pool were a little dirty (hot tub was just some sediment on the bottom not like it was dirty in general). The inside was great!

Not the Best Place

Our family was unimpressed by the level of cleanliness in this house. The pool area outside is torn up and has been for some time but the owner didn’t let us know until the day of our stay. The shower doesn’t drain and there were dirty dishes in the cabinets.

Peaceful cabin close to all our favorite spots!

We loved our stay here!! It was very spacious. Everything was clean and orderly. We love staying in this area because it is close to all of our favorite pool bars/restaurants. (Landshark, Redheads, Backwater Jacks, and Dog Days) The porch was so peaceful in the mornings to drink our coffee and in the evenings to unwind after a busy day on the lake. Our only complaint was the keypad to get in. We struggled with it everytime we came back to our place. Had to call one time because it was not letting us in but Ben was quick to answer and help us out!

The property is in a good location. The host is responsive, but quite unhelpful and generally unpleasant. When we arrived we noticed there was mold at multiple locations on the ceiling. It is clear the property has some water damage that has not been fully remediated. The shower is hilariously cramped and we did not really go on the deck because there was so much wood rot. Overall if you stay here be aware the host will not really help you with much and the place is not that well kept.

There were many uneven steps to navigate … far too many for seniors with suitcases and other bags. No parking near condo. The condo was very roomy; tiny bathroom for one person let alone two people; pool located below condo balcony was filthy and really unusable; several dead insects throughout but tidy and fairly clean.

Location, Hot Tub Deck and Vaulted Ceilings Amazing

Would totally stay here again. Was at a conference and all of my colleagues at the hotel were jealous. Parking was a breeze, getting to conference hotel from here was easy and the peace and quiet was ideal. Only reason I gave 4 stars is that the bedroom/bathroom felt cramped due to placement of A/C units/doors. I’m a big tall guy, though, so that may not be an issue for you. Also, a covering over the little window in the door would be nice as security/parking light from outside shined right at me when trying to sleep. Those are little things though. The vaulted ceilings were amazing, and sitting out in the hot tub in the mornings felt like I was in the trees in a magical elven village. Peaceful, wonderful stay. Definitely would go back.

Loved it, had a wonderful stay

Ben was great, very communicative and quick to respond. Loved the place, it was clean and updated. Really enjoyed the Hot Tub! That was a wonderful bonus. It was also close to the resort. Parking is terrible at the convention and this place is a 20 minute walk, and with the shuttles randomly picking you up on the way it was usually only 10-15 minute walk. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Awesome getaway!

We booked this last minute and were really impressed!! Very clean! Had everything you needed and more! We loved the pool and hot tub. The screened in deck was a great place to hang out. We will seek this property out again when we return to Tan-Tar-A.

Anniversary Weekend

The house is AWESOME! Greta atmosphere, comfortable beds, everything you need. The assortment of coffees really was a nice touch! We were disappointed that the pool was not open during our stay. If the pool was open this would be an easy 5 stars. Communication with Ben was outstanding! We expressed our disappointment with the pool being closed and Ben made it right! We would definitely rent from him again. Hope to stay again when the pool is open!

Amazing property

The house was very cute and clean! Me and my boyfriend wanted a little get away this weekend since we just had a baby a few months ago. We enjoyed a very relaxing weekend. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed (besides food of course). The location was perfect and close to everything we wanted to do. Would definitely stay here again.
