LAKE FRONT VILLA

Villa Esperanza new owners. The villa has three large bedrooms each with its own bathroom. Downstairs we have a large kitchen , dinning room, half bath, living room and bedroom. Upstairs we have the master bedroom and a second bedroom with 2 double beds. We also have a family / TV room upstairs and a large wrap around balcony with beautiful views of the lake. There is a small pretty beach just a short walk away.
Hacienda Pinilla is a gated community that has many amenities including horse back riding, golfing, and mountain bike trails. Multiple restaurants are at the J W Marriot and at the beach club. Nearby beaches include Avellanas and Langosta which has it's own parking lot associated with Hacienda Pinilla.

Fantastic Costa Rica rental

Beautiful villa, great location. Anna was responsive and solved a couple of minor issues quickly. Would highly recommend for a family vacation.

Great home and location!

We had a great time. The home was very spacious, clean, and close to the community pool. We even got a very close view of monkeys in the trees off of the porch. Anna was extremely accommodating throughout our stay, including when our plans changed just a few days prior to our trip. We hope to come back soon!

Great location and a lot of things to do close by

We stayed at Hacienda Pinella the last 2 nights of our trip. Great location close to Playa Avallanas for surfing. Visit the club for the day to swim, eat, and enjoy the beach. We also did horseback riding there which was amazing! The villa is absolutely beautiful. Plenty of room with comfortable beds and everything you need for your stay. The owner is awesome to deal with and very attentive to your stay. Recommend 100%

Great stay in a wonderful home

Anna’s home was exactly as described. It was clean, spacious and a wonderful space for my family to hang out. The nearby beaches, the town of Tamarindo, the beach club and golf/tennis were all very accessible, and a part of each day we spent there. The neighborhood is private and quiet, except for the birds and occasional howler monkey, which made the experience that much better. I plan to stay here again.

Incredible experience!

This was such a clean and accessible vrbo, we really enjoyed our stay. It felt very safe and we were able to relax with my mom who’s in her mid 70’s and my kids. I had to work every morning, the wifi was perfect which was a huge asset for me I was able to have my zoom meetings without any problem. The BBQs and kitchen were great so we did most of our own cooking. The beds so comfy, everything’s was amazing. Anna the host was very responsive and accommodating.

Paradise here in Costa Rica

Anna is a wonderful host! Communicative and helpful in assisting with names and numbers for activities, groceries, airport shuttle, etc. Villa is spacious, decorated very nicely, very comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you could need although we only cooked breakfast there. We loved the Hacienda Pinilla beach club!! Jose, Mariam and Elsa are the concierge staff and they are wonderful too. We can’t wait to return to Costa Rica and discover more of this beautiful country filled with friendly welcoming people!

End of year VACATIONS

Located at Las Palmas at Hacienda Pinilla, very near to Los Sueños Hotel and Moondance location's end of year party. Easy check with lock key pad in the door All you need in the kitchen and more, even pantry supplies left from other guests and several useful cleaning supplies. Cooking pans were excellent non stick Also beach chairs, surf board and boogies available at the house and a BBQ grill with gas Very comfortable beds and very nice renovated modern bathrooms (even bath wash provided in every shower)

Paradise

My family had an amazing time at Villa Esperanza in the Palma Real section of Hacienda Pinilla. We felt very protected and were behind two gates. The house is large, open and airy. The rooms were perfect and decor was spot on. We were a short walk from a beach with great tidepools. One was even turned into a small pool that my 1 year old could play in. The community pool was never crowded and we had a great time there. We ate dinner at the JW Marriot which is a walk or short drive. We spent two days at the Beach Club and ate lunch there. A short drive away is Lolas and Rustico which are two great restaurants. We also did an Estuary tour and saw monkeys and crocodiles and walked around down town Tamarindo. Anna was also an amazing host. She had kids toys, a high chair and pack n play for us and kept in touch if we needed anything. I would highly recommend.

Fantastic property in an amazing setting

Though we have been to Costa Rica on tour, we never stayed anywhere more than 2 nights and we had not visited Guanacaste Province. The Tamarindo area is replete with beautiful kilometer (and more) long, fine sand beaches with vast stretches without people and beautiful, surf-able waves. The weather was 100% consistently sunny, hot and arid (~65% humidity) requiring copious amounts of sunscreen. The nearby golf course was lovely and the mountain/trail bike riding was terrific. This 3-bedroom home is well furnished, comfortable, and having all the appliances and cookware + dishes to allow you to make your own meals. Grocery stores and restaurants are 5-15Km away but the nearby pool and the seashore/beach are about 500m away. There was an excellent housekeeper if needed. Our host was readily available via WhatsApp if there were questions. The small community of homes nearby were populated by really nice, "chill" people who we enjoyed meeting. We can't wait to return to watch the fantastic sunsets and relax.

Bittersweet stay

This is not our first time at hacienda Pinilla and in Palma Real. We regularly stay at other villas that are mostly managed by a company. This is the first time we don’t book the villa that is under a local property management supervision. When we arrived, the villa was dirty. Dust has gathered at every corner, including the bathrooms. Upon arrival, brown water was what came out of the taps, faucets and showers for a solid five minutes before coming out clear. The master bedroom only had one sleeping pillow set up. There were plenty decorative pillows, but this is not the same. No working oven or microwave. No working internet service, as well as cable tv. Fridge doesn’t cool All the feedback was eventually provided to the owner. Once we left and we returned the villa on the same conditions we did rent, we received a damage claim notification from the insurance company on behalf of the property owner, listing items that needed to be fixed and/or replaced based on damages we didn’t cause to the property, something we never experience in the past when renting any property. Inconvenient events that cause distrust and discomfort with this property and it’s management.

Great place and great experience

We had a great time at hacienda pinilla! Most beautiful wedding place we have ever seen! The property has everything you could whish for, and if we could not find something Anna was great host and always instantly willing to help out. She always responded instantly, which was really helpful and nice for us.

Our new favourite place in Guanacaste!

The villa is spacious and extremely well appointed. Everything about the property oozes quality and care, not just for the property itself but for guests also. This ranges from the quality of the kitchen appliances to the lovely beach towels provided - and, of course, you are right in the middle of Hacienda Pinilla with all that has to offer. My family and I could not have asked for a more comfortable stay and, more importantly, a more attentive owner. Anna really cares about her guests and goes out of her way to ensure they have a comfortable and relaxing stay. On the occasions we did need to contact Anna, her replies were received in literally just a few minutes. We will definitely return. Thank you so much Anna for providing such a wonderful experience.

Wonderful location with plenty of room for a large family. The home was beautiful, clean and stocked with everything we needed. Close to everything we could want to do and the property manager was so kind and quickly responded to our inquiry.

Amazing!

Villa Esperanza was amazing! The house was clean and exactly as described and pictured. It was perfect for our family and friends to share with a master bedroom downstairs, and a second master and another bedroom upstairs. The “condo” is 3900 sq ft so there was plenty of space for all. Anna was a great host, and was always very quick to respond to any questions we had about logistics or activities during our stay. The beds were very comfortable, and the bath towels clean and soft with plenty of extras in the closet. Beach towels were also provided, as well as some coolers and boogie boards for beach days. We loved having air conditioning throughout the home which is not easy to find in many vacation rentals that we looked at in the area. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and the furniture was clean and comfortable. All three leather couches seemed brand new. The location was perfect being located within the Hacienda Pinilla grounds. It felt very safe, and was quiet and peaceful. The hammock on the top deck was a favorite, as well as being able to walk around the neighborhood on the paved walking trail that goes from the condo development entrance to the Beach Club and beyond. This condo development has 2 pools that guests can use on the grounds, but it is also less than a mile from the JW Marriott, and about 2 miles from the Pinilla Beach Club. Playa Langosta was also just down the street, and the Beach Club had some nice waves right out front too. Although we had a rental car, we also rented a golf cart through a rental in Tamarindo which was fun for cruising around the Pinilla grounds. It cost $70/person to use the Marriott facilities if you aren’t staying there, so we didn’t do that, but we did enjoy a couple of dinners at their restaurants which anyone can frequent, and our kids enjoyed the ice cream shop on site. The Beach Club pool was also a favorite during our trip which guests from the Pinilla can use for a daily fee of $10/person. The $10 fee then gets credited toward any food or drink ordered, and there are options to eat in the restaurant on site or have pool service. Our entire vacation was a dream and even better than we anticipated. Anna was an amazing host, the house was beautiful and comfortable, and the close proximity to pools and private beaches was super convenient. If you are looking to stay in this area of Costa Rica I would highly recommend this location and this rental!

Great place and experience.

One of the nicest vacation rentals we have encountered. Perhaps the most well appointed property yet, they thought of everything. The entire experience was top notch. Check in and out plus and all communication was effortless. We will definitely return.
