Needs Updating/work
The property is in a great location with awesome ocean views and sunrises. When the booking was made almost a year ago nowhere was it stated that the pool would be closed or work being done on the balconies. Apparently this was not being done at the time of the booking as the property owner informed us of the pool closing and balcony work a month before occupancy. Too late to look for another place as it was the week of the Daytona 500. The jackhammering of the balcony work began at 8 am and continued throughout the day making for unpleasant loud noises and vibrations. Informed the owner about the uncleanliness of the place with shower mold, extreme dust on all fans/vents/furniture, outlets not working, bathroom exhaust fan not working, shower doors were damaged and inoperable, stove vent fan/light inoperable, balcony furniture had to be cleaned before use as well as the sliding door windows as you couldn't see out with all the dirt/grime and other items needed cleaning as well. The owner sent someone to try to repair the items however could not as replacement items/parts needed to be ordered. The owners were very responsive to our concerns and apologized but admitted they hadn't been there in sometime to actually see the condo condition. There were no cleaning supplies as stated as we purchased our own to clean up at the beginning of the week. The entire condo is in dire need of updating.
