Looking for the perfect beach vacation spot for your family? Then look no further than the recently updated Sealoft! Sealoft is located on the larger pond in Barrier Dunes and is only a 4-minute walk to the sugar white sandy beaches of Cape San Blas. Barrier Dunes is a gated community located next to St. Joseph State Park, a 2000-acre park with boat landing. There are two swimming pools (gulf front pool is next to clubhouse), ramps/walkovers leading down to the beach, 2 tennis/pickleball courts, stocked fishing ponds, clubhouse, playground, streetlights and paved roads.

SEALOFT's floor plan is spacious and very accommodating.

SEALOFT has recently been upgraded with a new screened in, carpeted porch with electric heater, fans and patio lights off the living room level. Perfect for enjoying all year! Bonus - there's also a door that opens just for feeding the turtles!

We enjoyed staying in the condo. We were disapponted that the bikes did not work and the beach cart was broken. Barrier Dunes is our favorite area to stay when we visit Cape San Blas.

Loved the condo,location and the excellent response to minor issues that were resolved within less than an hour! My grandsons loved the beach riding the waves and the youngest took off swimming in the pool! Awesome memories made

The property was clean except stained carpet but the mgr. is aware and they have it on fall schedule to replace floor. Very helpful staff. Beach. Very crowded but beautiful. Would stay again. Debbie with property management was very quick and helpful with a fan issue. Very friendly accommodative.

Great Place!

Perfect size. Plenty of room. Loved feeding the turtles and alligator out the turtle window. Plenty of great beach gear and wagons available (fishing poles, beach chairs, games).

Lots of adventure at Barrier Dunes

There were many good things about this unit. The screened in porch, the loft for the kids, beds were VERY comfortable, and house was clean. We enjoyed the porch swing and feeding the turtles. The playground was just outside the door. We appreciated being told that our rental was available early. The property managers are super responsive. Any issue we had they worked fast to resolve it. This is an outdated unit and there are some things that need work but for the location and amenities that Barrier Dunes has to offer it's still worth the stay. If you want to use kayaks, bikes, or fishing poles, you may want to bring your own. The flat proof tires on the bikes make it hard to peddle and the bikes are very rusted. The fishing pole doesn't cast well. There was a gash in the bottom of one of the kayaks. The air mattress had a hole but we were given a new one. The electric can opener is broken but they do offer a manual can opener. When we let the property manager know about the kayak and air mattress, she went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. It's not anyone's fault these things were left unresolved when we got there. Judging by how quick they worked to fix the issues, I'm certain they were never made aware. I would recommend this place.

Great stay at Barrier Dunes

Our family has been coming to CSB for years. This was our first time at this location in Barrier Dunes. We have stayed in multiple locations around the complex. This unit offered us more room. We were comfortable with our family of 6. It had everything we needed and more. A short walk to one of the pools. It’s across the street from the playground. We would stay here again!

Amazing home away from home

The townhouse was so much more than I expected. No we weren’t right on the beach. The screened in porch over looking the turtle pond definitely made up for it. I absolutely love turtles and enjoyed the turtle door off the balcony to feed them every morning while drinking coffee. Our daughter loved having a space upstairs away from everyone. The walk to the beach didn’t take long. Loved how pet friendly the neighborhood was. Meet some amazing people as well while there. I’m sure we will be staying here again if it’s available.

Relaxing and would recommend

The townhouse was very nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay. Feeding the turtles in the afternoon was a highlight from the screened in porch. The walk to the beach wasn’t too bad. The area around the townhouse was really nice. I loved how pet friendly the whole area was and how friendly everyone was to us. Communication with Stefanie was excellent.

Wonderful experience

My family (wife and children ages 9,6,1) stayed for 5 days on a family vacation. We had a wonderful experience and could not recommend it more as a place for a family vacation with incredible value. The communication from Stefanie, the property manager was the best I have seen on any similar vacation, including by text or email. We arrived about an hour before check in. Unfortunately it was raining so I asked Stefanie if we could check in early and she communicated with the cleaning staff to make sure we could get in as soon as they were done. The townhome was SPOTLESS. When we arrived, my wife specifically remarked how clean it was. The home is exactly as shown in the pictures. It is perfect for a family vacation. The home has a beach wagon, bicycles, kayaks available for use. There is a guest closet with some beach toys (bring your own if you want a large variety), beach chairs, beach umbrella and fishing rods so it definitely limits what you need to bring. We brought our own food and cooked there. We did not use the bbq but all appliances worked perfectly. The home is about a 5 minute walk from the beach, which you access through the gated community so no need to go on public roads. There are 2 pools, one of which is 1 minute walk away. That one has chairs in the shade and sun and had a bathroom there. The playground was across the street. The beach could get a little crowded but was very easy to find a spot to set up. We will definitely stay here again.

Dune Fox Stay 5 Stars

When we arrived , we were impressed by how clean it was. Enough toilet paper etc until you get to a store. The view of the pond from the deck is nice with all the turtles. The glass sliding door is a bit hard to open but no biggie . We enjoyed the pool which is steps from the beach. Had a great time ! Would recommend!

Worth The Money

Sealoft is exactly how it is described online and the photos show an accurate depiction of the condo. Yes, it is a little dated, but for the price, we think it is a very fair value. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had every appliance you might need, showers were good, THREE parking spaces were a plus, and the air conditioner did a fantastic job keeping up with the incredible heat (I would definitely keep the curtains in the bedroom drawn to keep them from getting so warm) PROS: Great Job on the screened porch, we absolutely LOVED having dinner out there with the fans and lights every night, laughing and carrying on. And yes, even our grown kids loved the turtle feeding window. We were also impressed that the loft stayed on the cooler side as well. We were party of 6 adults (age 21-52) and had plenty of room. Other good to know info: The condo is settled in the back part of the complex, so you do need to prepare for a walk to the beach and then a walk down the beach to find an available spot, unless you get up early and stake your cape claim...lol. There was a wagon but the handle was broken and we ended up using an older beach buggie we were able to get to work. There is a closet full of beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, fishing gear, etc that we didn't use but it is all available (as are mulitple "older" bicycles, beach towels and 2 kayaks). They do have 2 brooms, vacuums, an extra stash of cleaning supplies but you will want to bring extra paper towels, toilet tissue and trash bags if you plan to stay a whole week.

Cape San Blas escape

Overall it was a nice stay. It was extremely hot weather so it was miserable just to go outside. The sunsets were beautiful. It was a long walk to the beach.

Perfect winter spot

We were looking for a quiet beach location that was Covid-safe and close to nature. This complex is next to a large state park (still recovering from Hurricane Michael) on a quiet road with no high-rises, noise or crowds. We bicycled, walked on the many beautiful beaches in the area, and hiked in another state park not too far away. The unit was clean, spacious and comfortable. Most striking was that the kitchen was supplied for serious cooking. The pots, pans, dishes and cooking utensils were abundant and of really good quality. I loved making our meals and eating at the big table on the porch overlooking the pond. We watched the sunset each night from the edge of the complex, and then went back out on the beach after dark to check out the stars. The beds were outstanding, and the showers were great. Nice, thick, plentiful towels.

Awesome accommodations

Easy check in and communicate with owners/rental agents. Pictures don’t do the townhouse justice. Bedrooms are much prettier and clean in person. Beds were very comfortable. Brother’s family rented the next door townhouse so we were able to go back and forth with a joining decks. Kids loved the loft and outdoor equipment. Kitchen was fully functional with needed cooking supplies. We had a relaxing and enjoyable thanksgiving weekend. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Loved the property!

We had a wonderful trip! When we had a minor incident with the beach chairs the property manager immediately sent new chairs out to the property. All the added extras were awesome: beach wagon, beach chairs and bikes.
