Juan de Fuca Beach House is a charming waterfront home is located on a 2 private forested acres with access to a pristine southwest facing beach. Located west of French Beach and east of China Beach, Jordan River, and Sandcut Beach, the beach experience here is as good as it gets! Be prepared to see eagles, orcas, seals, otters, and possibly even humpback whales without even leaving the house. The kitchen has everything an avid cook could want, but if you don't want to cook, it is a short walk to Point No Point for lunch or dinner. The home has 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms.Two bedrooms are on the main floor and two are upstairs. All bedrooms have a view of the ocean. This quiet property is the perfect place to reconnect with the people you love and a wonderful place to which to return after a day exploring the local attractions.

The place was both adult- and kid-friendly, with amazing views. The house was spacious, offering plenty of rooms, and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The only small downside was figuring out the heating, but we made it cozy with the fireplace the first night. I also had a little trouble with the door lock at first, but that was on me for not reading the instructions carefully. Overall, a wonderful stay!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this property. The location is perfect—peaceful, private, and right by the water with unbeatable views. The accommodations were spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation.One of the most unforgettable parts of our trip was watching whales swim past every single day from the comfort of the property. It felt like a front-row seat to nature’s show! Excellent location to be away from the city and close to Beach. Has a semi private beach access, lots of bedrooms, great bathrooms and large kitchen. No TV (we didnt need it) but has wifi.

A great place to celebrate!

I was celebrating a big landmark in my life and wanted to surround myself with close friends to create lasting memories. The Juan de Fuca Beach House was the perfect location for friends and nature lovers. The location is absolutely spectacular! Long walks along the beach and the surrounding trails created fun and adventure and we didn't encounter another person other than those in our group for the entire time we were there. The kitchen is perfectly appointed and well stocked to entertain and it serves as a perfect backdrop for close gatherings and great conversation. We will definitely be back for our next celebration.

Lovely stay

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and has a beautiful view. All we could hear was the waves crashing against the rocks. We played on the beach, enjoyed the abundance of games provided, and took advantage of being so close to Point No Point, where we had a fantastic meal. A great weekend with family and friends. Thank you!

The Perfect Getaway for Peace and Tranquility

This property is an absolute must stay. It is truly a gem in the Shirley / Sooke area of the island. From its superb location, to its private only access beach just steps away from the home, and a beautifully well maintained house, this was a perfect place for my family and I to enjoy all the wonders of the island. We truly enjoyed the beautiful fireplace, the view fron every single room of the ocean and of course the beach that was so well secluded. Enjoying a cup of coffee in the AM on the beach while watching seals and otters play was just breathtaking. The local coffee shop and pizza were also delicious. Rob was also very wonderful to coordinate our stay with. Would highly recommend and would like to come back again soon!

Amazing

We had an amazing 4 night stay with family at this property. The house was spacious and clean , lots of space for 7 adults. View from all bedrooms and the private beach was amazing. Just a note that it is well water and very minerals so if you don’t like that being in your own drinking water.

Mother's day get away

The house and property are beautiful. The trail and stairs to the beach were very well maintained. The house has lots of space for the family and the beds were very comfortable. Sitting on the deck all that you could hear was the waves. Just a beautiful spot.

Everything you need for a lovely family vacation.

This is a lovely, private spot. The private beach is wonderful (keeps kids entertained all day) and the house is beautiful and equipped with everything you could possibly want or need. (We especially enjoyed the puzzles!) Lots of games, toys and room for kids! Bring your binoculars if you want to get a good look at the passing whales, otters and sea lions. I highly recommend this for a family vacation!

Wonderful Week in Juan de Fuca

The property was clean and beautiful - the best part was the private beach access. We spent everyday out on the beach kayaking, paddleboarding, and even snorkeling. Visiting Botanical Beach and seeing whales and seals was also a big highlight.

Family Getaway

The place is as scenic as the view you get from each balcony, window and lookout with all ameneities you would need to comfortably enjoy lounging, watching for wildlife, beachcombing, playing games and preparing delicious meals in the well appointed kitchen. Jaun de Fuca Beach House

This is an exceptional property. The house is spacious and clean. The access to the beach is well constructed and the beach is spectacular. Saw Eagles swooping down from the giant spruce trees to catch fish. The crashing of the waves was soothng. Though its in a fairly remote area, Sooke is only 15 minutes away and there is an excellent cafe and pizza place just a few minutes drive from the property. Lots of great hiking nearby like Mystic Beach and Sooke Potholes. And Victoria is only an hour away.

Return guests. Enjoy the view from many areas, eagles, boats etc Back area of the house sunny in the morning hours and shaded after 2 or so. This property is nearby family so very convenient.
