Our smoke-free home is located on two acres with river frontage on the property in a quiet subdivision. Pets are welcome. This house has a private yard, the river frontage is shared with House #1( VRBO Property ID 2206452. Plenty of room for yard games!
Home is fully furnished with a fully-equipped kitchen. You will need to bring, sheets, pillows, pillowcases, towels, & dish cloths.

Great place to stay

Everything was perfect. The house was in perfect condition when we arrived. They provided all the essentials such as toilet paper, paper towels, bedding and anything you made need in the kitchen area. The beds were so comfortable. The property is beautiful. We had a terrific stay. Will be back again.

Cozy, Clean and Comfortable

The house and owners were great! They replied to our questions immediately. We had 6 people in our party with the youngest at 15 and the house had plenty of space to not feel crowded. The bonus was a nice swimming hole located right upstream, so there was no worries about being able to sit and swim. Thank you again for the accomodations!

Best Get Away in Texas

Great place to stay at. Great Hospitality. Just a Beautiful place to go. Loved the water. All my family enjoyed it. Loved how they had a variety of games to enjoy. Can not wait to go again.

Family get away

We enjoyed the access to the Frio River. And Garner State Park. Along with the bat colony nightly flight in Concan. We connected as a family much to busy in our day to day lives.

Peaceful and beautiful!

We enjoyed our stay very much, nice supply of everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare our Thanksgiving meal. The kids played outdoor games and loved roasting marshmallows on the fire pit. We all enjoyed sitting around the campfire on the chilly nights. Already planning a summer trip.

Very nice vacation home in Leakey

House was very nice! There was a little dirt on the floor in one room but other than that, everything else was very organized and clean! Close to Garner and in a very quiet location. Owners are easy and fast to contact. Will likely stay again.

Frío Riverfront Property

A nice property with Frío River access. There’s a nice swimming hole upstream from the property. There’s plenty of space and a nice front porch for relaxing. We will be back!!

Great Family Home!

We had another great trip to the Frio at this home. We stayed at House #1 owned by this host last year, and this was our first time at House #2. This house fit our needs much better since we had multiple kids ages 2 and under. All one story, plus a wonderful front porch to play on. These hosts are wonderful, accommodating, and easy to communicate with. All-around great experience, and we will definitely be back!

Nice, private location

Our extended family (2 family’s of 4 each and older parents) stayed in this house. After trying out Mager’s and seeing how crowded and dirty the water looked, we realized the swimming hole near the house was perfect! With the water levels low which resulted in challenging tubing conditions, this home offered a great location and chance to get away from the hustle and bustle. The property owners were helpful and responsive. Good stay!

Yearly Frio trip

This our third year booking with Rick and Temple we usually stay in house number 1 but this time we stayed in house number 2 and like usual it did not disappoint. It’s had everything you need in the kitchen rooms are big and beds are comfortable. The split layout is awesome. The river has been low for years but it’s kid friendly but just about a two minute walk down river is spot with a rope swing and plenty of water to swim around in. Caine wait for nexts year trip!

Easter Weekend

My family and I stayed here Easter weekend & we had fun and enjoyed every bit of it! The property manager sent me reminders throughout the week of what I needed to bring/directions. The location was great, it was nice and peaceful. We spent the weekend hanging out on the porch, bbqing and playing cornhole, which was already on the property! There were some other games in the living room which we also enjoyed. We really enjoyed our getaway & it was pet friendly so we got to bring our fur babies as well!

River trip

It was nice. House was comfortable and clean. House not as private as we had thought. But neighbors were quiet. Wish there was a way to communicate rivers levels before booking. Wasn’t able to enjoy the partial riverfront property, and that was the point of the rental.

Down on the Frio

The home was fine and we enjoyed our stay. Just wish the river was a little close. Two of our family have mobility issues, and I rented the place thinking they would be able to sit on the porch and watch the river out back. I think it would be beneficial to others if they knew they had to walk down to the river to see it. Outside of that, we had a very pleasant stay

Nice getaway

We had a great time. The property manager was kind and responsive. We loved that we could bring our pets. The house was clean. There were lots of games at the home. The river was really low but there were other things to do. We went to Garner State Park for swimming and attended the night dance that was so fun for my teen. When we searched for a home to stay at, two of the search filters I included was a desire for a hot tub and pets welcome. The home stated there was a hot tub and spa in the amenities. That ended up not being the case. The pictures of the river were not consistent with today’s reality. The locals said the river has been low for 7 years.
