Ocean Front Condo in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina is in the heart of the OBX. You get a feeling of privacy in this small condo complex. Enjoy the open floor plans great ocean views from the deck, living room, dining area and clear through to the kitchen. A large beach front, while the protective dune and the architecture combine to give you a feeling like you have paradise all to yourself. The Interior was completely remodeled in 2018. Beautiful waterproof laminate flooring, custom cabinets and granite countertops. All new appliances and well stocked kitchen make it a joy to cook in. The entire Condo is an easy cleaning, maintenance free, must see. The pool is steps away from your front door. The dune deck has all new handrails and stairs, the pool was resurfaced spring of 2020. Quick beach access from the pool area and across the dune deck. All you have to do is come and enjoy all there is to offer. There are 2 bedrooms with new carpeting. The Master bedroom has 2 closets, 1 with a vanity area. The 2 bathrooms downstairs with all new Vanities, lighting and flooring. All new 2018 heating and air, Water heater, windows, siding, roof and decks. Comes fully furnished as pictured. Includes a library of books and board games. There are restaurants and shopping all around. Walk to dinner or enjoy a nice bike ride. Local attractions so close you can see them from the dune deck: Wright Brothers memorial, Nags head Woods nature Preserve, Nags Head Fishing Pier to the south and Avalon Fishing Pier to the north. Also close by are, Jockey's Ridge and Jeanette's Pier. Bed linens are provided. All you need to bring are towels.

First OBX visit

Really enjoyed our stay! The condo was very clean and comfortable. Short 2 minute walk to the beach and very close to local restaurants. Will definitely plan to stay here again.

Perfect Location for a week at the beach

We were very happy we chose this location for our week in the Outer Banks. It was perfect for our family of four. We loved sitting on the deck each night and listening to the waves crash. The owner was quick to respond to any questions and very accommodating. Perfect spot for our family if 4!

Great condo and location

Enjoyed the beach and pool along with the various restaurants in the area. There is also a convenient grocery store just a few blocks away. Will definitely try to go back soon.

Excellent property in a great location! The beach was steps away and the pool is very nice and never crowded. The owner is very responsive. The condo was private and clean. We had a wonderful week staying in this property and hope to return next year! I would highly recommend!

Great place to enjoy the Outerbanks

We had a great time at Breakers 8! It was a perfect location and had everything we needed, even bath and beach towels which said they weren’t included. There is a small view of the ocean and the walk to the beach is close. The pool was right outside our door and was rarely used, so we usually had it to ourselves. John was a great host and responded quickly with any questions.

Great location!

This property is in a great location central to stores, restaurants, and most of all the beach! It was great to walk straight out to the beach from our condo. It’s in a spot where the beach wasn’t too busy. The pool was super clean! We spent a lot of time on our deck watching thr ocean. The host was super friendly and responded to messages quickly. Would recommend to everyone!

Comfy condo - great location

The condo was a perfect size for the three of us. It was comfortable, very clean, great pool, scenic sunrises from the deck, and right on the beach. The owner was easy to contact, friendly, very helpful, and prompt answering all questions. He ensured that we had everything we needed, and his daughters helped us get beach chairs and umbrella. A good host!

Great OBX Vacation

The townhouse was perfect for our family of 4. Very quiet and family friendly. The pool was the nicest one that we have had since we first started vacationing in OBX 12 years ago. The distance from the pool to the beach is roughly 25 yards which is ideal for carting chairs, umbrellas and kids toys every day. The property manager is very courteous and attentive. We will be coming back next year.

Kill Devil Hills Comfort

The property was beach front which is what we were looking for. The condo was clean and had all the amenities we expected. The pool was an special feature. The only negative was that we had to pay for laundry outside of the condo.

Lovely Townhouse Style Home

My daughter’s and my first visit to North Carolina and neither of us would settle for anything less than Outer Banks oceanfront. She wanted surfing, I wanted comfort. We got both with Breakers #8. The home is designed such that the 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are on the lower level, where you enter the unit. There is one flight of manageable stairs to the living area. Check-in was a breeze - no issues at all. Everything was clean and tidy upon arrival, and we were very happy with the updated and modern living space and well-appointed kitchen. Everything was in perfect working order. The pool is clean and plenty of lounge chairs - and is literally 10 steps from your doorstep. Loved that! There is a dune between the home and the beach - as is true for every home on this beach - but this unit does have a view of the ocean, from the living area and deck. Since our stay coincided with Hurricane/Tropical Storm Debby we didn’t have a ton of sun, but always being able to see and hear the ocean really helped make this an enjoyable and memorable vacation. Our host John was great with communication and was especially reassuring when we didn’t know exactly where Debby was headed. We felt safe and secure right where we were thanks to John’s reassurance and availability. I recommend Breakers #8 for couples or a small family. If you want to be close to the beach and have easy access to literally tons of restaurants and shops, this place is for you. Thanks John!

Wonderful vacation!

This property is wonderful, it's perfectly enough! It's close to all things! Beach,shops,restaurants name it! The property was clean, well stocked with all things you can think of ! We lacked nothing. We had a fun and relaxing time here. We were sad to leave and go back to real life 😆 The owner James, is not only responsive but kind too! His very helpful and went above and beyond to help us with all our million questions we had :) thanks James! We will come back ! Charity.

Good location, nice place, would recommend

Communication with the host was excellent. Quick to answer any questions as well as move in information. Location is ideal providing many places to eat within walking distance. As others note, there are no laundry facilities in the room, but we were able to use the common facility machines without much issue. Unfortunately the view from the deck is blocked by the dunes but you have very easy access to the beach. We only used the pool a bit, but clean and nice. Pretty much everything you need is provided in the kitchen. 2nd floor has been nicely remodeled and although the lower level may not have been as recently updated it is completely fine and clean. Someone else mentioned with the bedrooms in the lower level it’s just a bit cooler than upstairs and makes for comfortable sleeping. All and all, host is excellent, location is great, unit is clean and I would certainly recommend.

Great location

Very comfortable unit. Laundry is outside of the unit and needs quarters and banks and grocery stores told us there is a coin shortage, so bring quarters if you want to do laundry.

Best vacation ever

We usually go to the Jersey shore for short trips but it was well worth the drive to go down to the Outer Banks. The place that we rented was awesome. Clean, spacious and a big kitchen. The owner is really nice and responsive. And did I mention that there was a brewery across the street? We can't wait to go back!

Great location re beachfront and centralized relative to other activities; just steps to the beautiful clean beach. Pool was a nice temperature. Bedrooms on lower level was a plus because it’s cooler for sleeping. Living area was pleasant, spacious and light. Nice private balcony with chairs; dunes obstruct the beach, but you can still see some ocean in the distance, yet it’s close enough to hear the waves crashing on the shore. Owner was easily accessible. Amenities in condo were good relative to kitchenware; but it would be more convenient if towels were provided.
