Beautiful Venice Beach Duplex: Incredible Location

Prime location one block from the beach with a marina, dining, and lounge nearby. Two-minute walk to three different beach access points -- two of which are completely private. Less than a mile walk to downtown Venice, where you can enjoy the cute little shops and fine dining.

This is a 2/1 unit that has a full kitchen, two bedrooms: one with a queen bed and another with two twin beds, two living rooms, a dining room, and a large front porch. There are three smart TVs.

The unit also shares a washer and dryer in the garage. The garage also has four beach cruisers, plenty of beach chairs, beach toys, beach towels, fishing poles, coolers, a cart to easily carry items to the beach, and shark tooth finding tools.

You can't beat this beach location on the island.

SCAM

The property manager refused to provide any contact besides through the Vrbo app. When I arrived at the property it appeared deserted, poorly maintained, and door combination provided did not work. Despite attempts by me and Vrbo support staff for hours, alleged property manager did not respond until much later. I suspect this property may not even be owned by those representing themselves as property managers and the positive reviews are likely fabricated. Good news, Vrbo was available, tried to help resolve the situation, and then refunded my money!

Nice place to stay

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was great!! We stayed for a week and a half. We were very comfortable there. We only had one issue and that involved the A/C (it happens in that extreme heat) but Bishop immediately responded to me and had it looked at as quickly as possible and fixed!! Then checked back with me to be sure it was working right. Great guy who actually cares that you are comfortable at his property. Would definitely love to stay there again.

Beach Side Family Reunion

Great location only two blocks from Venice Beach and a 10 minute walk to all the eateries, bars and shops on Venice Avenue in the old downtown of Venice. Space is comfortable with lots of amenities. Bikes, beach gear and BBQ grill provided is a nice touch which we made good use of. Host is very responsive to any questions or requests.

Stellar location!

Two blocks from the beach and about a mile from the quaint downtown area in a quiet safe neighborhood, I was able to walk everywhere. House is spacious with many windows and a lot of light coming in. Host was very accommodating and responsive. The only issue was a strong odor coming from the kitchen plumbing. Host says this is going to be replaced soon.

Great little duplex

This was exactly what we needed. We came to watch some Braves spring training games and go to the beach. The location was perfect for both. The neighborhood is quiet and just a walk around the corner to the beach. The house was clean and the beach accessories in the garage were nice to have.

Venice vacation

Booking, check in, and check out was easy. We didn’t need to communicate with the property manager at all. Instructions were clear prior to arrival and no problems once we got there. The house was bigger in person and the neighborhood was gorgeous. The house had everything we needed and more. Clean, comfortable, and close to the beach. Would absolutely stay again.

Fabulous Vacation Property

We enjoyed our vacation in this beautiful rental. Plenty of room for the 2 of us. All the amenities we needed were there and it was overall clean. The location was perfect with only a short walk to the beach. We would recommend this to our friends and I look forward to returning.

Price for location is nearly unbeatable. Outstanding neighborhood.

We truly enjoyed ourselves at this rental in Venice Beach, on the island. Being able to walk to the ocean in 2 minutes is outstanding. The area is safe and gorgeous. My only complaint (not about the rental) is that almost all the shop’s in downtown Venice all close at 5 pm. My suggestion would be for each shop to stay open at least until 7pm, if not 9 pm. I would guarantee a lot of revenue is lost during the hours of 5 and 7 pm. Back to the rental, the property manager was outstanding. We realized there wasn’t a blow dryer, late the night we had arrived. The property manager had the blow dryer w/ Xtra TP, paper towel and a bottle of windex(I had requested the windex) nicely bagged and on the porch before we even woke up the very next morning. The property manager went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay & had what we needed. Would recommend this property, especially bc of it’s spectacular location. Also, it’s a true value, the nightly price is nearly unbeatable. If you decide to book, enjoy the ocean and be sure to get to the shops before 5 pm.

Venice Beach 🌴

Bishop was very easy to deal with and the houses location is superb. There are palm rats outside that we saw almost everyday and the beds were stripped when we arrived, other than that it was all great. We appreciated the beach equipment and bikes very much.

Venice retreat

The owner was very responsive and pleasant to work with. The location of the home is truly ideal and the neighborhood is quiet. The home itself could be cleaner inside and the furnishings nicer ( i.e.- pots and pans in poor condition, furniture old). The refrigerator is very nice, the beach items provided are also really nice.

Great house with such easy access to the beach!

We so enjoyed our short walks to the beach for swimming, strolling and nightly sunsets. And such fun cruising the island on the bikes provided. We’ll be back!

Spacious unit close to the beach

We enjoyed our stay at this property! It is spacious and has all of the essentials. The location is exactly as pictured/described, and the unit is well outfitted with furniture and essentials. The towels desperately need replacing and some washable blankets (as opposed to the older knit blankets) would be really nice. Washer and dryer in the garage are very convenient. The other issue we had was a very musty smell coming from the kitchen sink which really affected that whole area. Communication could also be a little better as far as knowing where the B unit is on the property and when to take out the trash, etc. We would return although I think the price is a bit high for the quality and only one bathroom.
