Luxury on the Water - Camp #3

NEW Private dock and lighted fishing pier with 2 boat lifts - And a new ice machine with a 265# storage capacity
This home is FISH READY on Calcasieu Lake. Bay fish as soon as you put your boat in the water or offshore fishing access is 12 miles away. You can also take a 30 minute ride to the Golden Nugget Casino, which has a pier to park your boat, and enjoy a little gambling. For the hunters in the family, world class duck hunting is available.
Kitchen is fully furnished with dishes, silverware, cookware, glasses and cups. Keurig coffee maker, microwave, and dishwasher. Hand soap, dishwashing soap, hand towels and wash cloths are also available for renters use. Limited amounts of toilet paper and paper towels provided.
Paper plates and plasticware must be brought by renter if desired. (There may be some there and may be used if available.) Washer and dryer is available for use. Please bring your own laundry soap. Bathrooms are furnished with bath towels and wash cloths. Please bring your toiletries.

This house is the perfect set up for a fishing weekend with a lot of people. You can't beat the amenities, cleanliness, location, and layout of this place. The owner was the most responsive and helpful that I have ever dealt with. We look forward to our next visit here.

Lovely home away from home for a few days over the holidays! Beautiful view on the ship channel, enjoyed watching the boat traffic come thru! Large roomy kitchen if you enjoy cooking, comfy beds and hangout spaces. Bruce is a very accommodating host and communicates promptly, would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This camp is clean and very comfortably furnished. Everything worked (appliances, TVs, dock equipment, etc) and that is always a plus.Area is queit and peacefu, very cool to see the container ships going past.

Needed a cool place to stay on our way to Alabama.

Great place, back deck was awesome watching the ships go in and out. Also saw dolphins in the morning drinking coffee. Super comfortable will be back!

4th (or 5th) time to stay here. Excellent as always.

We love it here.. Bruce goes out of his way to make things special. He even had a water slide set up for the neighborhood this week! My kids (even the big kids) had a great time on it 😆. Dock/boat lift are always such a plus. We had a great family vacation . Thx again so much!

Nothing but GREAT!

Everything about this camp is amazing. Crab and fish off the dock day or night. Ice machines were a huge plus. We just came back today and the kids are begging to come back next weekend. Camp was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed the weekend. Looking forward to coming back in the future 😊

Perfect Getaway!

Perfect getaway! The house was very nice, clean, and equipped with everything needed in a quite peaceful area. Bruce was very helpful and ensured everything was good with our stay. We enjoyed fishing and crabbing from the beautiful private dock and seeing the big ships pass through the channel from the balcony. Only downside was the trip was too short! Thank you Bruce for the gumbo and boudin - it was very good!

Excellent Accommodations

The camp surpassed our expectations! This is a very well maintained rental, which has plenty of comfortable space inside and outside for your friends & family. The rental is fully equipped, from the Keurig coffee maker, ice machine at the bar, ice machine downstairs for ice chest to keep your catch fresh, and plenty of kitchen supplies. The private pier is the perfect addition to this camp! For all these reasons, we give this rental, and Bruce Horne at 5 Star Rating! We can't wait to go back.........

Fourth time to stay

Already wanting to go back. Bruce- goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need. This is an excellent place to stay. Extremely clean and comfortable. Plenty of room. Having the dock and boatlift at our disposal is very convenient. The place is beautiful,, and we always have an excellent time there. No complaints at all! Thanks again Bruce-😎

The best idea ever. Just book it!

I am still in awe of the week we just had at this camp with our baseball team. We all rented camps from Bruce and spent time fishing, boating, crabbing, watch LSU in the World Series and playing our World Series in Sulphur (a short drive from Hackberry). Bruce was absolutely the best host ever. From families with babies to teenagers to grandparents, all ages had a blast. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and southern fun. Literally….just book it. We WILL be back.
