Welcome to our easy going/ comfy beach house/flat. 2 bedrooms/2 bath (1 Queen, 1 King with ensuite bathroom) 1 bunk bed nook that is privatized with a curtain, but in the open plan living area. Perfect for kids!. All new beds and mattresses. All linens, and towels provided. A brand new kitchen, dining table for 6, in an open floor plan area with a cozy living space and working gas fireplace. Smart tvs and fast internet.
Please note this rental is on the second floor, there is a full set of stairs to the beach flat. This is a 2 unit house, there is a small adu unit that is occupied at the rear of the first floor.
The garage houses bikes, boogie boards, kayaks, chairs and umbrella. Plus Washer/Dryer. All keyless entry, Sleeps 6. There is a PORTABLE air conditioning unit, we do not have Central Air. It really is not needed at the beach.
Quiet street, gorgeous beach, ride bike to the Harbor with the available beach cruisers. Fall and Winter is the best time for surfing the famous Silver Strand. 15 minutes gets you to the Ventura Harbor to hop on the ferry to the Channel Island National Park. Ojai is only 24 miles away. 11 miles to Ventura Harbor or downtown. 28 miles to Zuma Beach Malibu.

Better Home away from home!!

Very spacious home with all the amenities you need! This home is in the ecclectic Silverstrand area which is so relaxing and laidback. Extremely quiet at night and of course beach walks in the a.m are a must!!

Quiet cozy beach stay

We very much enjoyed our stay at this beach house. The house had many thoughtful touches (e.g., extra blankets, throws for couch, coffee, games and books, and a bottle of wine). The house was clean and roomy, the bed comfortable. The ethos was a cozy, family beach house rather than an overly fancy place designed for a "look" rather than function. On-site manager was helpful and owner flexible when there was a problem with getting the access code for entry. The neighborhood seemed friendly with lots of residents walking dogs or riding bikes. Only drawback, we found the dining table chairs a bit uncomfortable (rounded vs. straight backed, which prevented lingering over coffee at the table), but there were plenty of other comfy places to sit. We would go back.

Lovely weekend getaway for parents and teens

Nice location, lots to do, comfortable and well-appointed house. Large, clean and uncrowded beach. Perfect for parents and 4 kids. Great and communicative host. Would definitely come back!

The place was very clean. Location is really awesome because it’s a very short walk to the beach. The property has a fair amount of beach, toys, chairs, umbrella, and so on. My kids had a great time.

Beautiful space basically on the beach!

My family loved this second floor beach house; it was a perfectly bright and inviting space with all the amenities one could hope for. Two beautiful bedrooms and a bunkbed nook perfect for kids! No complaints whatsoever. Thank you to the wonderful hosts!

Perfect house, perfect spot!

We opted to get out of town for Thanksgiving and this place was the prefect answer for us (2 children, 1 Grampa, and my husband and I) It is literally a 2 min walk to the sand, a half mile to some local eateries and the vocal sea lions were ‘in town’. We’re looking forward to a return visit the next time we need a quick getaway. Thanks for the memories!!

Loved this property and its location! The neighborbood was a perfectly quite retreat from the city. (Wish the stairs pictured had been identified as the only access to the main part of the house. If you have difficulty with stairs, beware that you cannot avoid them here.)

The place seems like it is midway in a remodel process. The lighting is insufficient the kitchen feels like a temporary install, the sink really needs a back splash, great new appliances the bathrooms are a mix of old and new fixtures again with incomplete lighting. TV in the master bedroom not connected to cable or internet. Living room TV not child proof and affected by glare from windows that are covered inexpensively. Otherwise, comfortable if you spend most of the time on the beach.

Peaceful beach stay…

What a lovely beach house. Everything was so comfy, clean, and well stocked . The house is located close to the beach, on a quiet, quaint street. They offer everything you need. Beach towels, bikes, chairs, umbrellas … The house has games, magazines, a full kitchen. We had a peaceful stay with our little dog. She loved walking the neighborhoods. Everyone was friendly, the beach was quiet, and clean.We wanted to stay even longer !!! The host was helpful,and really prompt answering our questions. We will be staying here again, when we come in to town to see our family.

Great beach getaway

We had a wonderful vacation! The property was close enough to the beach to walk back for extra drinks, warm up food, and bring back to the beach. Lots of games to keep the kids entertained, friendly neighbors, nice and quiet. The beach was super clean and we could even see dolphins swimming just past the waves. The owner was also super responsive with any questions leading up to our trip, which definitely helped with planning. We would love to stay here again.

Wonderful Oxnard beach house stay

Wonderful stay! The house is in a nice location, very close to the beach. It is a very safe and friendly neighborhood. There are lifeguards on the beach. We loved using the bikes to go to the cornerstore. Kids really loved using the boogie boards as well. The house is very spacious perfect for a family of 5. Super fun games and other amenities were also available. It was a great home away from home. We would definitely recommend and love to come back!

Great beach house!

We really enjoyed our stay at Kelly's house - it met all our expectations! It was a super comfortable and modern beach house, and our kids *loved* being right next to the beach. We appreciated all the amenities (sand toys, boogie boards, etc.) and Kelly was super responsive to all of our questions. Definitely recommend it!
