This mid century cottage is a 5 minute walk through the park to downtown West Jefferson. Located directly across the street from West Jefferson Park, you and your kids will never run out of things to do! Incredible views of Mount Jefferson from the living area and front bedroom. Historic West Jefferson has lots to offer and this home is right at its doorstep.

This home faces east so you can watch the sun as it rises over Mount Jefferson in the morning from the front steps, living room or front bedroom. It also provides abundant morning hours sunlight throughout the home.

This home has 1 King bed, 1 double and 1 twin. The double and twin are bunk beds. This home is best suitable for 2 adults and 2 children, but can accommodate 3 adults and 1 child very comfortably. **There is no guest access to the garage**

We are fully stocked like a hotel with fresh clean bath towels and bed sheets provided for you. No need to bring paper towels or toilet paper as well, we got you covered.

5 minute walk downtown, 5 mins to Mount Jefferson State Park, 15 mins to the Blue Ridge Parkway, 15 mins to New River State Park, 30 mins to Boone, 40 mins to Blowing Rock. This property offers a perfect location for all your needs.

There is a very well maintained park directly across the street that draws a lot of locals and tourists. The park offers walking trails, playgrounds for children, basketball and tennis courts. Adjacent to the park and also across the street from the home is a very well maintained cemetery. I assure you, the residents of the cemetery are the quietest neighbors in town!

**Please note that this is the mountains and some guests may find the driveway “steep”. There is a flat gravel area to park directly in front of the house if the driveway is an issue for you. Keep in mind you will then have to still walk up the driveway or front yard. This property is not likely suitable for anyone with walking issues.**

** We have a security camera facing the driveway. It also provides lighting for your safety. This camera not only protects our property when it’s vacant, but also your vehicle when you are there. We also use it to make sure our cleaners have been there.**
