Luana Kai Resort is located on Maui’s South Shore on the Ocean side of S Kihei Road. Beautifully landscaped grounds w swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, cabana outdoor kitchen, and gas barbecue grills. Tennis courts, pickle ball courts, 9 hole putting green, and shuffle board. Complex is steps away from the ocean. 2 B/ 2B 2 story unit located on the top floor (3rd floor) with Ocean views off the lanai. 5 to 10 minute drive to some of Hawaii’s best beaches, golf, restaurants, and shopping.

Very nice unit with great location.We had a little problem with ants, but were able to spray and get rid of them. The only other issue we had was that the upstairs shower door leaks. Someone should look at this to prevent water damage.We would recommend this place to othersMahaloJohn

Great property toward the north end of Kihei. We selected the property as a part of hosting our daughter's wedding in Wailea. Between family and friends on both sides, there were 13 units occupied during the wedding week. Luana Kai is located on the water, the property is well maintained, the individual units are nice and clean, our unit had a nice ocean view, the check-in process was simple and communication with the owners was great. We had a terrific stay. Kihei is also a great central locations to the airport, a short distance to Wailea and a reasonable distance from Kaanapali and/or Kapalua. Our check-in day was the day of the Tsunami. It made the first day memorable. Other than that, everything went great. Thanks to Trisha and the folks at the property for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful Maui Stay

We had an amazing stay in Maui! Trisha, the property manager, was incredibly communicative and flexible—especially with our late flight times—which made everything smooth and stress-free.The location is perfect: centrally located with easy access to shopping, beaches, hiking, and everything Maui has to offer. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the pool was great, and the beach right in front of the property was perfect for morning walks and sunset views.The unit was well-stocked with everything we needed for a beach vacation—chairs, towels, a cooler, snorkel gear, and more. We traveled as a family of four (with two teens), and there was always something for everyone to enjoy. The new HVAC system kept us cool and comfortable, and I especially loved relaxing on the ocean-facing patio with my morning coffee. We even had a little cardinal visit every morning that my daughter named “Fred”—a sweet and funny touch to our days.We’d absolutely love to return—this place truly felt like a gem!

Beautiful vacation getaway!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this condo in Maui! It was very comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The beds were especially comfortable, and the unit was well-stocked with all the essentials. The amenities were great, and the location was perfect - close to beaches, restaurants, and shops. We would highly recommend staying here and would definitely book again for future trips!

Great unit, location

We enjoyed our stay in Kihei over spring break (2025). The unit was great for our family of three and the location was convenient and centrally located. We enjoyed having access to the pool, hot tub and beach right outside our door but also taking lots of day trips to explore the island.

Family vacation

The place was exactly as described and was just what our family of 5 needed for our vacation. The patio was perfect to eat out on! The extras were amazing to have. All your beach needs so you don’t have to rent chairs, cooler etc. The condo had lots of supplies for you to use, example spices for cooking. We would definitely stay again! Trisha was awesome to deal with. Always responded right away if we had questions.

Amazing Maui Rental!

We so much enjoyed our stay in this condo. The host, Trisha, was so quick to reply and respond to any questions and concerns. Check in was seamless and the parking was plentiful. The condo has lovely new kitchen appliances and was well stocked with everything needed…plenty of linens, towels, kitchenware, spices…and the welcome basket of chocolates and popcorn was appreciated. The lovely ocean view from the lanai was a bonus for morning coffees and evening cocktails. Whale, monk seal and turtle sightings were abundant from the beach, and nearby shops and restaurants within walking distance were so convenient. The pool, hot tub and bbq area was clean and never too busy. Thank you for sharing your condo with us, Trisha. Mahalo!

Nice place to stay

Great spacious apartment for 5 people. You will have everything necessary and even more in this place. Very convenient location: stores, food trucks, restaurants, shops are walking distance. Great pool area with bbq and tables. Open till 9pm. You can grill and have dinner right there. We were very happy to stay at this place.

Great location, perfect stay

First time in Maui, and loved being right on the beach every day and very centrally located with easy access to everything we wanted to see and do. The condo was clean and in good shape and had plenty of room for a family of four. The property manager was timely and responsive to any questions or needs. Highly recommend.

Great place for a family or a couple

We really enjoyed this property! The condo itself had everything so we were able to relax. The kitchen is stocked with cookware, dishes and spices. The fridge space was so nice for leftovers and we were able to fit large pizza boxes in there. The linens were stocked as well. We had plenty of blankets, sheets, pillows, towels and a great selection of beach/pool items. The lanai was so nice to sit on and enjoy breakfast and sunsets. The location is great! So many yummy places to eat nearby and plenty of public beaches within a few miles. We also enjoyed walking and playing on the beach in front of the property. The host was also very quick to respond as well as had wonderful recommendations for us. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Maui!

Family trip

We had a really nice stay here. The condo was very clean, airy, and felt perfect for what we were looking for. The outside balcony is perfect for meals for a family of four. We pretty much had every meal out on the balcony, with a view of the ocean. The Condos were overall very quiet, which we really appreciated. We also really enjoyed playing Pickleball at the courts on the ocean-side. We were far enough to not hear the pickle ball, but close enough to be able to enjoy playing in the afternoons. The condo also had pickleball rackets for four people, beach chairs, beach, umbrellas, a large cooler, and a snorkeling mask. Perfect for our beach excursions. The host was very kind and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this place.

Wonderful place!

The location is perfect! The condo is clean, spacious, and the beach in the front is peaceful and calm. We enjoyed a few mornings and sunsets here. Trisha is very accommodating and helpful. We had a wonderful time and definitely will stay here again!

Great place the only problem which the property manager knows about now was the dust and debris that was blown through the louvre windows in the up bedroom. The wind was gale force but louvred windows obviously can’t handle the wind, the bedroom was covered in dust we had to go and sleep downstairs. I believe there were other condos having the sample problem. Remove louvred windows and install solid windows, which I believe many condos have.

We just returned from spending 6 nights at this wonderful condo in Kihei. Working with Trish was seamless. The condo was recently renovated and provided all the needed items to make our stay enjoyable i.e. well stocked kitchen, beach chairs, a cooler, and a pickle ball court oceanside. Kihei popular beaches are just a short car ride. PAIA Fish Market restaurant as well as the Sugar Beach Bake Shop and Ululani's Shave Ice ROCK! We highly recommend this unit!! Wayne & family from CA

Clean beautiful 3rd floor apt w/ a Lanai-partial ocean & garden view. Great communications with the owner. 2 story apt: very clean, 3 TV's, W/D, very nice kitchen. Pool and hot tub very nice, and walk across green lawn to beach. Well stocked & plenty of beach toys. I would come again. Five Stars. Don
