Walk or ride a bike to Publix, ice cream or donut shop. Take a beach chair and wagon of toys and relax at the beach. Relax on screened porch, grill fresh seafood. Kitchen is fully stocked.

This house was super clean, well stocked even with a nice beach canopy, great location and an excellent backyard to hang out. We will definitely be booking again if we go back to Oak Island.

Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids ages 7, 11 and 13) had a great time at this home! The house was clean and well maintained. It was within walking distance to the beach and a quick drive to the grocery and local shops and restaurants. The shed was packed full of beach accessories, and beach towels were even provided! We loved everything about our stay!

Oak Island Getaway

This property was the perfect location for our family. We were close to the beach and grocery store, yet the neighborhood was quiet and the back yard was private. The house was immaculate, and stocked above and beyond our expectations. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Super experience

The house was exactly as described with more amenities than we could have even thought we might need. It was even nicer than the pictures and the location was great. Super great stay. Would love to come back sometime.

Nice screened in porch for a bug free outdoor hang out. Lots of beach parking available on Oak Island and beach chairs/toys available.

Wonderful Home

This house was perfect in every way. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Fully stocked. The back porch is beautiful to sit on and drink your morning coffee. Would highly recommend. Make sure you rent a golf cart and enjoy Oak Island.

Beach adventures

Great experience. Beautiful relaxing stay. Well equiped kitchen. Loved the beach chairs and bikes. Loved the location. Close to restaurants and shops. Felt like we were home. Hope to go back next year.

Best equipped beach home yet

Our family has stayed at dozens of VRBO beach homes and this one was the best equipped. Bikes, beach gear, kitchen stuff, etc. Suzanne was very prompt and easy to communicate with. Home is close to the beach and a good neighborhood for biking/walking, etc.

Wow!..By far the best stocked vacation rental I have ever stayed in. Fully stocked kitchen and tons of beach stuff. House was in perfect condition, beds were comfortable, screen porch was great, grill was perfect. Highly recommend. Thank you!

Best Beach House Rental

This was by far the best beach house we have ever rented. The property is beautiful and spacious. Loved the screened back porch. The best part I feel like is what the owner does for those staying, the shed with beach supplies, towels and sheets which sometimes you lucky to just get one, but the best is the notebook provided with the property. A notebook with information for the house and area, plus a stack of restaurant menus to give you a start on where to eat while there. I would happily stay here again!!

I'll be back...

We loved staying at this cozy little house. It felt like home. There is no wasted square footage in this house and they have EVERYTHING that you need here to enjoy your stay and beach trip. It's really convenient to have beach carts and umbrellas in the shed especially for families like ours who only go to the beach once a year. We will definitely book this house again when we return to Oak Island. Like the title says, I'll be back!!!

Fall Break

We stayed 4 nights and had a great time. The property is close to the water and had everything you need to take to the beach. This was our first time to Oak Island and the relaxed atmosphere helped us destress greatly. We would consider staying again sometime.

Great Home

This property is close to everything, shopping, the beach, grocery stores. The backyard and back porch are so nice and peaceful. This house has everything you need for the beach including toys, chairs, bikes there’s even a beach cart.

Beautiful Home

This home is lovely! I immediately felt right at home when I arrived. Everything that I needed, in the home, was there. I enjoyed every part of my trip to OKI and plan to stay here again next year! This home is very convenient to shopping, beach, and food. 10/10 would recommend :)

Absolutely amazing!

Suzanne is a wonderful host! We communicated regularly via text. The house is very close to the beach and also comes equipped with all of the beach things you need! There is a tranquil screened in porch with a great seating area and also another outdoor seating space with a grill and table. It was prefect for our large family reunion (6 adults and 1 kiddo). Highly recommended. We will definitely be staying again!

Everything is included

We had a wonderful time in Oak Island in this clean and perfectly kept house. This house made our vacation effortless because of all the additional benefits of this house. The kitchen had everything we needed to host a large family dinner while everyone enjoyed the beautiful outdoor space. The shed had bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, and toys all for us to use during our trip. All we needed to bring were our clothing and food! The location of the house on the island is ideal because you are close to the beach and shops. This is a house that I would recommend for anyone looking to have an effortless trip to the island.

We purchased this home as a get away for our family and friends. Unfortunately, we are not able to use it as much as we would like and therefore can offer to the VRBO community. Although we currently live in the Raleigh area we enjoy our many friends on the island as frequently as we can. We have vacationed in the Southport and Oak Island area for years and decided to invest in the area that give us much joy.

We are only 3 blocks from the beach and concert park area. Easy to walk and avoid the parking fees.
