Cottage is located in the Mountains of WV. Wildlife viewing at it's best. Open living and dining area with 2 bedrooms and one bath. HOT TUB!!! Just minutes from the Buckhannon River. Pond on property. Cottage is located 10 miles out the Alexander-Helvetia Road in French Creek.

The kitchen has all the appliances and utensils you would have in the comfort of your home. There is a starter of garbage bags and dishwasher tabs provided.

We are pet friendly (dogs only, fee required). Must clean up after your pet inside and out. Excessive pet hair on furniture or pet excrement (especially inside) may result in forfeiture of all or part of security deposit.

Weekend getaway

We came down for a ghost hunt at the Trans Allegheny Lunatic asylum. This place was wonderful to recoup from a long night. We had comfortable beds to sleep in, a clean bathroom and kitchen to refresh and gather in and the cleanest hottub I have ever been in. The view and scenery was amazing and the star gazing was a treat as well. Would love to come back

What a great place to get away. Everything was as described. Super clean and very charming. We had to cut our stay short but would love to go back. Very easy to find. The hosts communication was excellent.

34th Birthday!

The cabin and property was absolutely beautiful! I booked this with my girlfriend and a couple friends for her 34th birthday. We relaxed by the fire, cooked some good meals and enjoyed the hot tub. We will definitely be back again!

Perfect family get-away

The property is wonderful! Close to the main road, yet surrounded by woods and wildlife. Plenty of stores somewhat close by if you need anything. It's the best!!😀

Cool, rural cottage to escape the heat

Wildflower is a sweet litttle cottage in a rural part of W. Virginia. My sister and I were looking for a place to escape the heat of Virginia, and we did! The weather was beautiful, cool in the mornings and evenings and much less humid than Virginia. The cottage was very clean and well stocked. Beds were comfy. Our only complaints were the fridge that made noises all day that sounded like a cow in labor. Also, there was no cushio foor an porch bench that had metal slats on it that you couldn't sit on. We enjoyed Holly River State Park about an hour away and the nearby W.VA Wildlife Center.

Nice cozy place!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was super clean and neat. Outside did have broken bottles and playing cards scatter we cleaned it up so no one would get hurt. Did some frog catching around the lake and enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Overall we had a great stay.

Great stay as advertised

Quiet and beautiful location. Cottage is everyrhing as advertised. A bit of a haul on pretty windy roads "35 min to buccannon" to get a gallon of milk but a nice one at that. Hot tube and fire pit are a very nice touch!!

Country with the amenities

Beautiful house and property and an awesome stay! Cannot say enough great things about my stay! It was comfortable and the cottage was gorgeous! I never needed anything or had any questions, but from the moment I clicked ‘reserve’ Cheryl had reached out offering any assistance. She truly wanted to make sure we had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend staying here! They thought of everything! Some fun games for the kids, a few toiletries for those who always forget, the kitchen had everything you needed- just bring your food! Thank you so much for the great memories!!

Perfect Mountain Getaway!

The cabin is gorgeous, the hot tub was amazing and the fire pit was so fun. The hot tub offers the most gorgeous view of the sunset over the trees and incredible views of the night sky. My 5 yr old LOVED the bunk beds. Worked out perfect for us. Washer and dryer was great to have since I forgot to pack him clean underwear so we had to re-wash his 🤣 Check in was super easy and straightforward. There’s no cell service at the cabin but the Wi-Fi is great and will stretch to the hot tub so as long as your Wi-Fi calling is turned on you won’t have any issues. We visited the West Virginia wildlife reserve and can’t recommend enough. Has elk and bison and about a 1.5 mile hike through the woods and around the other animals. They also make fresh pepperoni bread that is so yummy. We bought a few for our drive home and loved them. Highly recommend!!

Family get away

We really enjoyed our stay. Peace was what I was looking for and it's exactly what we found. They cottage was beautiful they hot tub was wonderful. I recommend this place 100%
