Host was wonderful and very responsive with pool and hot tub questions. We loved the house it was exactly as advertised. We loved the warm sunshine in the very private backyard. Had some windy chilly days and it was a perfect protected spot to enjoy the day still! Kitchen was extremely well stocked. A very nice benefit to have beach chairs and a cart. We had a lovely stay!

The house was very nice, however, the BBQ was very dirty and old didn’t useThe out door patio furniture had stained and ripped cushionsThe patio rug was tattered and wornThere was new home construction right next door with a gas operating generator The YMCA across the street was under major construction.The inside had a broken kitchen cab and the closet door in the bedroom was falling offThe toilet paper holder in the small bathroom was broken/missing.Check-in was 3pm we arrived at 3:30 and the house was not cleaned and ready for us. It did get cleaned by 5:15pmToo many photos to post.

We had a great stay for our Marco Island vacation! The house is beautiful, spacious and comfortable. It’s decorated beautifully and very clean! The kitchen is very well-equipped with everything you may need to make any meal. The beds are also comfortable so everyone was well-rested. The pool area is great for relaxing. The neighborhood is lovely and safe for evening/night walks with the dog and minutes from the beach as well lots of places to eat. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Marco Island Family Retreat

Our two-week stay in Marco Island with our two-year-old and dog was amazing! The home was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed. The owners were super kind and responsive.The heated pool was a daily hit—perfect for our toddler! The location was ideal, steps from a great park and a fantastic dog park, making it perfect for our family and pup. Everything was flawless, and we wouldn’t change a thing. We’ll be back for our yearly Marco visit! Highly recommend!

Great house

We enjoyed our stay! The check in was easy and not messing with keys was even better. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It was a very relaxing vacation. We would definitely stay in this house again!

The house was exactly as pictured. We loved it! The hosts were very responsive. The house is awesome inside and out. Location is great. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend!

Amazing getaway

We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived! The house is beautiful and exactly as the pictures showed. The host made check in easy and was accommodating and flexible to meet our needs. Everything was clean and fresh. We would stay there again in a heartbeat! We absolutely loved it!!! YMCA across the street was a great added bonus for tennis, pickleball, gym, etc for a small fee. Proximity to beaches, restaurants, etc is perfect! Thank you!!

Hosts canceled the day of our vacation

The hosts canceled our vacation 9:30am, the day of our vacation and we ended up paying way more than we would’ve for a different rental the next day. If we had canceled our vacation then we would’ve been held responsible for the entire fee, should work both ways VRBO, for hosts too

Excellent Newer Home

The owners are terrific hosts. They were very responsive to a couple minor questions regarding check-in and the spa. The kitchen was abundantly stocked with dishes and cooking items and the house was super clean. Great location off main route to beaches and restaurants. We enjoyed a very nice pool and patio seating when not at the beaches. Great stay.

Wonderful Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at The Sandcastle across from the YMCA on Marco. The owners were wonderful, and the house was clean and newly constructed. Beds were super comfortable and we really enjoyed the hot tub since it was a little cool this February. Our only wish was for more shade in the pool area (it faces west and it gets direct sun most of the afternoon). An umbrella by the chaise lounges that tilts would have been most welcome. Thanks for everything, Heather and Rob (especially the bikes which we really enjoyed).

Beautiful, well-maintained property

We would certainly highly recommend this house! We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, well-maintained and well-equipped home. The hosts were very responsive to our questions before and after renting the property. I did not give the location 5 stars only because it was a little too far to walk to the beach, but definitely a very short drive. The house was very centrally located on Marco Island and across the street from the Y. The only issue for us was that all available tv watching was through streaming services. So, no local stations or news networks or sports were available, requiring us to subscribe to Hulu live (my husband is a news junkie). This took a little figuring out with the host's help.

How A Stay Should Be!

Property was clean, well stocked, and as listed. Hosts were very polite and quick to respond. Welcome guide and expectations were clear, concise, and reasonable. Will definitely consider this property again next time we visit!

Perfect home for a week away

This home was even more nice than the pictures shown. The home is high end, clean and well equipped for all your needs such as towels, beach supplies, and kitchen needs. We loved that the YMCA was close and another large park nearby for the kids to play.

Christmas Vacation

Great property, hot tub was excellent and the kids had a lot of fun in the pool. Short drive to beach parking and a great park for the kids within walking distance. Check out the community center at the park on rainy days. The kitchen is well stocked.

Great Spot

The Sandcastle was great for our family of 6. The house is a perfect set up for our family that includes teenagers and younger children. The pool area is incredible. The house is well furnished and had everything we needed for cooking and going to beach.

Amazing Property!

We stayed with my in-laws for a week that come and visit every year from Michigan. The house was amazing and just what is pictured on the site. They are older so going to the beach is difficult if not impossible, however the pool and spa were enjoyed every day all day. The owners Robert & heather wee easy to communicate with for the one issue we had and resolved immediately. Would highly recommend the stay as it is just down the street fro the beach. if you have a YMCA membership there is a great facility across the street.
