The space
With three bedrooms and two baths, the Cottage can accommodate 1 to 6 guests. It is only a short walk to Rails to Trails and Clark Gardens, is an invitation to explore North Texas outdoors.

50 acres of stunning botanical gardens at Clark Gardens.

Rules:
Do not feed the horses located near the property or open any of the gates.
NO RV's are allowed on the property.

Wedding

Our godson got married at Clark Gardens and we made the desserts for the reception. The property was so convenient to the venue and the kitchen was perfect for all the baking we did. The property was clean and very welcoming. We were able to totally relax in the evenings. Thank you!

Exceeded expectations

What a charming little gem! The place was immaculate, quiet and loved hearing the peacock in the evenings! The beds were comfortable and we felt right at home. The host was very responsive to my emails and handled my one request immediately. I couldn't get the ceiling fan to work in the second bedroom and by the time we got back from our day site seeing it was working! We will definitely stay here again when we're in the area! What a plus to also have access to the wonderful gardens. We took advantage of it and took our evening walks throughout the lovely grounds.

Lovely Cozy cottage!

Our family rented this cottage when we came to the Weatherford area to visit family. It was perfect for our needs! We loved the eclectic and colorful decor. Many thoughtful touches throughout. It was fun to be on the grounds of the Clark Gardens. Unfortunately, we weren't able to explore because it was so cold while we were there so we would love to return. The check-in process was very easy with great communication with the owner. We didn't arrive until after dark due to family obligations, but I would recommend arriving in the day light to make it easier to find the cottage. We made it fine, but did make a few minor wrong turns. Not the owners fault, they did recommend to us that arriving before dark was better. The only two things we needed just because we one of our children is younger is a plug to close the drain on the tub for baths and a few night lights, but other than that, we would love to go back and highly recommend it if you are in the area. The location is truly very unique!

Very clean and much bigger than expected. The master bedroom doesn’t have a ceiling fan, but there is a fan in the closet provided which we used. Amazing linens, tons of pillows, and such a beautiful and secluded stay. The listing doesn’t do this place justice in the pics. We would definitely stay again!

Great girls birthday weekend

Property was a perfect getaway. Close to DFW, but away from it all. The crazy water bath house was incredible. Enjoyed the hiking on the rails to trails, cliffs in lake mineral wells SP and loved our morning walks in the Clark botanical gardens.

On the edge of Clark Gardens

This house actually adjoins Clark Gardens and we were able to explore the Gardens leisurely. It is a beautiful spot. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need for a peaceful visit. We will be back.

Great location

Back roads made it close to the wedding we went to. I would like to stay at this house in the spring and walk the gardens. It was 30 degrees out and very windy when were able to walk around. We saw a dear on one of the paths. Very close to mineral wells state park.

Beautiful property

Loved our stay here for my nephew's wedding. Home is well appointed and has everything you could need. Close to Mineral Wells and Weatherford. Only 45 minutes to Ft Worth. We were 5 adults. Plenty of space and ultra comfy beds! The gardens are gorgeous even in fall and we took beautiful morning and evening walks. Definitely would stay again if we need to return.

Great property-Perfect location

Such a great house and perfect for our needs. Clean, cute & comfortable! Felt remote but yet so convenient to both Mineral Wells & Weatherford. We all loved our stay and only regret is not getting to spend more time in the house or out on the porch. Will find a reason to make a return visit!

The home that has everything

I was both surprised & delighted by all the essentials this house has. I did come prepared but it had all the little things you normally forget. It was tastefully decorated. The location was private & cozy. Would totally stay here again.

Great and Relaxing Getaway

My Mom and I stayed at this property for a mother daughter weekend at Clark Gardens. We absolutely loved it!!! The house was clean, the beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has most everything you could need. The only thing we did have was a few visitors (spider, caterpillar, lizard). It’s right by the woods so totally understandable, but maybe could use a spray. Also needed a restock of hand soap in the bathrooms. Overall this was a wonderful place to stay at and we are already talking about when we can go back!!! I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Clark Gardens!
