¡Solo un corto paseo cruzando la calle y estás en la playa!

Los Outer Banks perfectos se alejan para que su familia disfrute de todo lo que ofrece la playa. El hogar está ubicado en North Virginia Dare Trail en Kitty Hawk en el puesto de 5 millas. ¡Podrá disfrutar de la vista desde el gran porche cubierto con un columpio para relajarse o desde la gran terraza para tomar el sol! Bonito plano de planta dividido con 2 dormitorios frontales que se abren directamente al porche con mosquitero. Los dos dormitorios en el frente comparten un baño y los 2 dormitorios en la parte posterior comparten el otro baño. La sala de estar central tiene muchos asientos para que todos puedan estar juntos cómodamente viendo televisión o jugando juegos. Cada habitación tiene su propia televisión con cable. También tiene acceso a internet y videojuegos WII, libros y DVD. Esta ubicación ofrece una proximidad cercana a 2 muelles de pesca, a poca distancia en coche de Corolla para ver los caballos salvajes o de Oregon Inlet para un viaje de pesca en alta mar. Estás a poca distancia de restaurantes, una tienda de comestibles y una farmacia. La cabaña solo admite perros. No se permiten otras mascotas. We had a wonderful stay at this cottage for the second time! The home was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The location was great, with easy beach access and a relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. We especially enjoyed the spacious decks and screened-in area, which were perfect for enjoying the ocean breeze without worrying about bugs. Will be back again.

Thank you for your review. We just completed an exterior renovation which included new LP siding, white PVC trim, new screens, and new doors. This really elevated the screened-in front porch which has always been a guest favorite place to hang out. The under house bar area is also a great place to hang out to play darts or drag out the cornhole boards for a little competitive game under the spot light. We loved our stay over the Thanksgiving holiday long-weekend! We had a group of 8 ages 4-86 and we all loved this home so much! Host was super easy to contact/communicate with and this home had everything we could have needed in the kitchen to prepare Thanksgiving meal! We will definitely be back!

Our family of 10 2 dogs stayed here and had a wonderful time! The house was super clean, well stocked and communication with Paul and Christine was easy and quick. My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Shifting Tides. The proximity to the beach was great and having all the beach supplies there so we didnt have to pack all that too was awesome. We also really enjoyed all the different areas of the house to hang out in , especially the tiki bar area. The hosts were very quick at getting back to us with any questions or concerns we had.

Thank you for your review. The screened in porch which faces the ocean is one our guests favorite spots. We added a ceiling fan this year to create a little breeze on those hot and muggy days. The short walk (just a short 250 feet) to the public beach access is another great perk of this semi ocean front location. The back patio area which faces West is great for the evenings. There is usually a nice breeze while sitting out there. Thank you for renting our beach home. We home you come stay with us again. Christine and Paul

Christine and Paul are wonderful hosts and their home is perfect for multiple family members, children and pets. The weather at the beginning of the week was not great, but we still enjoyed our family time. Our granddaughter LOVED the upper deck crow’s nest. Weather improved as the week went on and my husband caught enough fish for dinner. Life is good at the beach! Thank you for your hospitality. #blessed

With the layout of the house, we think it is perfect for multi-generational families, as well as a couple or group of friends. Thank you for your review. We purchased this home because of the location and easy access to the beach. Being at the 2.3 mile marker is super convenient. We love our dogs and being a dog friendly property, we added the fence last year. It makes our stay and our guests stays much more enjoyable. The split floor plan with 2 bedrooms (queen beds) and a shared bath in the front of house and 2 bedrooms (queen and two sets of bunk beds) and shared bath in back of house is great for families with children or shared by couples. The one level is great as well. Steps to get in but no steps once you enter. Great location for easy access to beach, grocery stores, restaurants (Arts Place just down the street) High Cotton, Rundown Cafe or short drive to Trios, Baha Bad Bean, Pony and Boat to name a few. Short walk to beach access. Views of ocean from front porch and rooftop deck.

Thank you for the great review. The screened in porch is a guest favorite place. The public beach access is only about 350 feet from our driveway so it is very convenient. Plenty of beach supplies including beach carts to transport chairs, coolers, umbrellas, etc. As dog lovers ourselves, a fenced in yard is a must. Lots of gates to help keep your dogs safe. We also provide two (2) dog crates for our guests to use so they don't have to lug one from home. We would welcome you back to our property at any time.

We have 4 grown children and 5 grandchildren ranging from age 7 to 22.

We love both the beach and the Blue Ridge mountains where we live full-time. We love country music and try to go dancing at least one night every weekend. We like to visit with family and friends and go on motorcycle rides as time permits. Paul does a little farming. He has 15 angus cows, 1 bull and a number of calves depending on time of year. I recently retired from the workforce after working for a defense contractor for the last 23 years.

We have two dogs. Bonnie is a 14 1/2 shih tzu and Ellie is a heeler/collie mix. Ellie helps to control our ground hog population.

We have been going to the OBX for more than 20 years and feel very fortunate that we were able to purchase this property in December 2019. We have been updating and putting our personal touches on the home since we purchased it.

We have been enjoying the beaches in OBX for more than 20 years. Many of those years have been in the same Kitty Hawk area. When this home became available we jumped on it without even seeing it. This location is perfect for us. Easy access to and from 158. Our cottage is located around the 2.5 mile marker on N. Virginia Dare Trail.

It is the perfect location and size for our family. It is large enough to accommodate 10 people comfortably with 4 bedrooms - 3 queen size beds and 1 twin over full bunk bed with a pull out twin bed, 2 full bathrooms and a outdoor shower, a screened porch with access directly from two front bedrooms or from side deck, upper deck for sunbathing/ocean views and patio/deck area out back where a breeze is always blowing. Perfect location right across the road from the beach and great views. Beach access is only about 350 feet away at the Bennett Road crosswalk.

Close to everything you may need including grocery stores, restaurants, family entertainment including movies, putt-putt golf, Wright Brothers Museum, Corolla Wild Mustangs, outlet stores, water parks, etc. If you are on the adventurous side, you can book deep sea fishing trips, offshore/onshore fishing and a nice boat tour to see the dolphins in Manteo.

Screened in front porch with bar height stools so you can see see the ocean, people watch or just relax under the ceiling fan. Located in a nice family area. No motels/hotels close by.

Upper deck for exceptional beach views and stunning sunsets. Easy, walking distance to public beach access (5th house from access). Under the house, there is a ground level deck which has a nice breeze with chairs, ceiling fan, tiki bar, picnic table, park-like grill, and outside shower. Fenced in backyard for relaxing on the back patio, sitting on the swing while enjoying the nice breeze. Dart board under the house and full size cornhole boards available with a spotlight on the back yard to play after dark.

(Just watch out for sandburs and/or cacti which are native to the area and difficult to control.)

We manage our property ourselves with the help of a great team of locals who we count on to clean our home and make necessary repairs that need attention before we are able to come down and take care of it ourselves. We met these two wonderful people because of an unfortunate accident the week before our first guest was to arrive. They have been a true blessing to us. If there is a problem that they can't handle, they have put us in touch with someone who can. We can't tell you have much they have helped us since 2020.

We pride ourselves on being very hands on and responsive. We want our guests to have a wonderful experience in our home so they come back year after year.
