Welcome to Alabama Sands!

Recent updates include: newly painted entry wall, 2 recliners added in living room, new ceiling fans in 2nd bedroom and living room and new 55" TV in living room. New Sealy king-size mattress in primary bedroom.

Alabama Sands 4 is a 2 bedroom 2 bath first floor condominium, sleeps 8 max. The unit is approximately 900 sq ft with new flooring and super nice decor. 55" Smart TV with DVD in the living room, with wall mounted TVs in each bedroom, with a second DVD in bedroom 2. The living room has two recliners (one leather Lazy Boy and one fabric Flex Steel-both rocker recliners).

There is a King bed in the primary bedroom, two full beds in the 2nd bedroom, 2 twin cots available too. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen with washer and dryer. There are two bathrooms.

Alabama Sands condominium is located approximately 1.5 miles west of the Highway 59 intersection in downtown Gulf Shores, Alabama. Alabama Sands is a low density building with 14 units. There is an indirect view of Little Lagoon. The property features BBQ grilling area, outdoor pool and is just a short (5 min) walk to the beach. The public beach access is just 2 blocks away. No sleeper sofa

Perfect Getaway Home

This place was as advertised, clean and the property was nice and quiet. Perfect for a family. Its just a short distance from the beach and several other restaurants and attractions. Loved that it had a beach wagon to use!! Love that it had a beach wagon to use

Great place to stay

The property was clean, check in was easy and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for family of five.

We had a great stay. Love that the room with two beds are fulls instead of twins unlike most other rentals available. Decorated very cute and comfy. Perfect for our stay

Great place to stay

This was our first year to stay at Alabama Sands. Our unit (#4) was clean and felt like home! We were so happy to see a beach wagon and chairs we could use instead of carrying everything to the beach!

Pleasant stay

Location was great, walking distance to the beach. It was nice that a wagon was supplied to get beach supplies to the beach. The space had all the conveniences of home. The pool was enjoyed by the kids as well. Very pleased with our stay.

Comfortable and great location!

Check in/out was easy. Condo had stocked with dishes, utensils, and extras. All of the comforts of home while on vacation. Just a short walk to the beach and the neighborhood was safe.

Amazing Condo

Everything about this condo was amazing! It looks exactly like the pictures. It was a very short walk to the beach. There were boogie boards, beach toys, games, and books for guests to use.

The condo was great fit for my family of 4. The condo was clean and the beds were comfy! I would have liked a binder with information about the condo ,checkout rules ,etc. The binder could have also had restaurants, places to go for families, where to grocery shop, beaches in the area etc. That information would have been very helpful to people coming from outside the area. We did enjoy the wagon that helped make getting to the beach easier.

Cozy and Beautiful place close to the Beach

My family and I with a friend of ours and her son stayed here. It was a beautiful 2 bedroom. One cool thing is that they had 2 additional hide-a-beds one in each closet. Not that we really needed them, but cool if we did. It was a 3-5 minute walk to the amazing white sand beach. It was close to the shops and restaurants as well.

Great

Overall great property. The wi-fi was a little flaky. The pool could use more shade like two or three umbrellas but otherwise great. Exactly what we bargained for otherwise. Would rent again.

Nice short get away

Overall we enjoyed our 3 night stay. One of the beds in the double room kept falling (foot end leg kept falling). My daughter didn’t sleep well thinking it would fall in the middle of the night. We enjoyed the pool to ourselves most of the day one day. It wasn’t super busy but close enough to everything. We would stay again.

Good location/ not clean

The location was great, the building is older and could use updates but the inside was the biggest issue. The sheets in the master had lots of hairs in them and there was blood on the side of the tub and wall in the bathroom. The floors were dirty and rugs need to be washed. We called the manager twice and didn’t get a call back until we contacted VRBO then they sent someone out with clean sheets and to clean the bathroom and floors.

We were working on your call when you contacted Vrbo. They asked us to reach out to you which we replied that we were already in communication with you. We addressed with housekeeping immediately and the rust spot on the tub was also addressed. We would hope you enjoyed your stay as we see you extended your vacation an extra night.

Overall Good Experience

Nice property inside. Wagon provided come in handy for the beach and had a spare chair. Not far from the beach. We had a nice stay other than when it come to going to bed. Dryer wasn't working at check in time. I think I should have been informed prior to check in rather than getting to the room and find it not working. Parking isn't great if you have over sized vehicle, to hard to get in and out. People above us were not considerate. Loud music all night. Stomping up/down stairs and through their condo all hours of the night.

Alabama sands #4

The property was really nice. The rental agency was wonderful and organized. However, the floors appeared to have not been mopped prior to our stay. Me and my daughter’s feet would get dirty from walking on the floors. And, the dryer was not functioning, overheating and the metal prongs inside were falling apart. Overall, it was a great stay. We enjoyed our time.
