Welcome to our family beach home on a quiet private street in Long Beach Island, where everything you love about LBI is just steps away. Located less than half a block from both the bay and a private beach access point, the house offers the rare combination of convenience, privacy, and space to relax.

Start your mornings with coffee and a short walk to the ocean. Spend the day at the beach, kayaking on the bay, or biking into town for lunch. In the evening, gather on the sunset-facing main deck (brand new for the 2026 season) and watch the sky change colors as the sun sets over the bay. After a day outside, unwind in the hot tub while the kids play ping pong or shoot hoops out front.

Inside, the open living, dining, and kitchen area creates a welcoming space designed for time together. Whether you're sharing meals, playing games, or relaxing after the beach, the layout makes it easy for everyone to connect while still offering quiet spaces to retreat. The home features four comfortable bedrooms, including two upstairs rooms with private decks.

One of the best parts of staying here is the location. Being less than a block from both the bay and the beach means quick access without the crowds, making it ideal for families. You can easily walk back from the beach to grab lunch or drinks.

To make your stay easy and relaxing, guests are welcome to use the beach gear we keep at the house for family and friends. Feel free to enjoy our beach chairs, bicycles, surfboards, boogie boards, skim boards, and other beach gear so you can spend less time packing and more time enjoying the shore.

Grammy's beach house is a place that our family comes together from near and far each summer with kids and adults of all ages and the house something for everyone. When the family is not using the house we open it up to a few a handful of families that have rented with us for years. This year we have two peak weeks open and some off season dates. Why not start a family tradition this summer......

Lovely family friendly home

This house has plenty of room and amenities. Short walk to bay and ocean, residential neighborhood, hot tub, outdoor shower, deck, well equipped kitchen and kid friendly beach stuff, books, games. Really enjoyed our visit and would like to return next August for more days.

Online pictures don’t do it justice!! Fantastic location with private beach access. Was there for two weeks with spouse and 2 dogs. Very quiet street and friendly neighbors. Owner was very responsive and accommodations were great. Would absolutely stay again!!!

Great location and space for a large group

Located in the quieter section of LBI. Quiet block on the bayside, able to swim there and quick walk to the beach. Huge house with extra space. Friendly neighbors House was equipped with large amount of beach toys, chairs, bikes, coolers, etc! Owner very responsive and helpful!

Great house and location for family

Ideal house and location for family stay with kids. Proximity to bay and ocean great. We prepared all meals in the spacious kitchen and were spared the hassle of finding suitable restaurants for everyone’s diet and hunger time. Hot tub a bonus, kids love it. Dog well accommodated. Much easier than finding dog sitter at home.

Great vacation home

This was an excellent house, large, clean, extremely well -stocked with all kinds of things for both adults and young kids to enjoy. The location was excellent , especially if you like a quiet place away from the center of towns. It was basically right across the street from the ocean, one block from bay access and a 5 minute car ride to a nice park/ playground and a nice small bay beach, perfect for little kids. Kevin and Kelly are excellent hosts, very available and extremely generous with allowing use of whatever is at their home.

Bliss

Returning to the jersey shore after 6 years of relocating to Colorado. Our patriarch passed this year and we weren’t able to connect with NJ family since then. It was bittersweet, but blissful. Kevin and Kerry were unforgettable hosts- we felt their loving energy throughout the home in family pictures, curated activities, abundance of amenities- and they were available and communicative as well. Relax and Refresh!

Great part of LBI! We loved the quieter end of the island. It felt very safe and family oriented. Families, dogs , bikers all smiling enjoying the beach or bay. Our group of adult children, 2 little ones and 1 set of grandparents has plenty of room to spread out, cook and play with the kids. Fully equipped for a rainy day, we found floor puzzles, tons of children’s books and toys to keep the kids busy.. We all enjoyed walking to the bay many times a day to explore. We biked all over and loved the lighthouse inlet to watch the big boats go out. We loved the bright, fully stocked kitchen. I think the family is very generous allowing quest to use all their sports equipment. Thank you for a lovely time.

Wonderful house, Beautiful location

The property was wonderful and met all of our needs. Our family of 6 adults and 2 Corgis had a great time and a very comfortable stay. Nerdy close to the beach and bay. Gorgeous sunrises on one side and spectacular sunsets on the other side. Kevin the owner and his wife are very easy to work with and very accommodating. There are many items available for use, bikes, paddle boards, ping pong, my favorite and the rest of us the hot tub at the bottom of the main deck stairs. A nice surprise was the large outdoor shower which is great to get the sand and salt off before going into the hot tub or just finishing your day before going inside. The house is well supplied with dishes, beach towels, cookware, etc. large grill on the deck right off of the great room, convenient. A lot of wonderful restaurants, coffee shops and site and things to do on the island, and a surprise zoo, brewery, winery and distillery not far away in Cape May. We all had a wonderful comfortable time and look forward to returning again soon. Rick and Lori and family

Great family stay close to the beach in LBI

We had a great stay over Labor Day Weekend at Kevin’s house in LBI. The house is in a quiet neighborhood just a short walk to the beach across the street, and also equidistant to the bay. The use area at the bay is a bit small as the public area is surrounded by private docks but it was nice to take the dogs and little ones down there in the morning and during sunset. The house served the needs of our group (7 adults and 2 toddlers) perfectly and it was great that we could bring our dogs. The large deck was great for hanging out and the house was spacious enough for us all. Kevin was very communicative when we had questions and gave us answers right away, even on a holiday weekend. Would recommend this house for a stay in LBI.

Perfect!

We (me and my husband and 2 kids - age 12 and 14 - along with visits from grandparents and in-laws) spent 2 weeks at Kevin's home and we had an amazing time. The house was the perfect size for our needs and we felt very much at home. We loved that we were close to both the bay and beach. We easily walked back and forth to the beach and enjoyed watching sunsets from the porch. The house is well stocked with everything we could possibly need - from spices, kitchen supplies, kureg, bbq. Also - we never thought we needed a hot tub but we thoroughly enjoyed that too! Kevin is a wonderful host. We barely needed to contact him but when we did , he was very responsive. We are truly grateful for our amazing 2 weeks in LBI and we would not hesitate to stay at Kevin's home again!

Perfection

Kevin and Kerry were excellent hosts of their property. Kevin reached out to me several times before our stay to make sure any questions I had were answered, and they were completely available during our stay as well. The property was perfectly located between the bay and beach and was a great size for our family and friends. It was comfortable, spacious, and everything worked great. There was also an extra warmth throughout the house due to the wonderful family photos hung in most rooms. All of my kids and their friends noticed them and it was super sweet. I highly recommend staying at this property!

Private quiet street and you can't beat being a half block to both the bay and the beach.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We love having the open plan kitchen and living room that allows everyone to connect and play games, enough space in the yard for the kids to run around and having four bedrooms where two have private decks allows space for each family or the grandparents to find some quiet time.
Of course we love the quiet location so close to the beach and all the stuff we have accumulated over the years that adds to the beach fun.
