Wow! What a trip of a lifetime! Josh & Cam made it so special. Having a boat captain to take you around was such a privilege!!! We have never experienced so many things on one trip. Every day was filled with fun adventures, great food, wonderful sights and gracious guides. We would recommend this home and its staff 1000%! They really went above and beyond to ensure we had one of the best trips our family has ever been on including arranging an impromptu birthday celebration for our daughter which was extremely thoughtful. We can’t wait to come back to Belize to snorkel and dive in some new spots and explore more Mayan sites! Thank you Josh, Cam, Jason and Ela!

Therese and Daniel took great care of our two families. The house was wonderful although the burners had a hard time getting really hot and the use of tge boat was wonderful. Unfortunately we had sarcosim(sp) that minimized the enjoyment of beach front, but the boat made that better, made tge best of it. Highly recommend

New Year getaway

Our family enjoyed a wonderful new year stay at this beautiful home. It was quite roomy and comfortable for our family of 8 adults and 2 children. The beach was very well kept by a gardener every day which was great for our little ones who enjoyed playing in the sand. We enjoyed fishing,snorkeling and boat rides with Jonathan who was very accommodating. We would love to return one day!

Fantastic Spring Break at Casa Blanca

Our family, including our 18 month grandson, just returned from a fantastic trip to Belize where we stayed at Casa Blanca. Our family stated multiple times that the house is perfect. It is roomy and comfortable and well maintained. The Captain and Housekeeper team were fantastic and took great care of us. We kayaked, paddleboarded, fished, snorkeled, and spearfished directly from the property. We would definitely stay at Casa Blanca again and are looking at doing so in 2026.

Great house and location

Loved our stay. This was a fantastic house with great amenities. Daily housekeeping and Jonathan was timely to attend to anything we needed, including fishing, conch hunting and even made us conch ceviche! Location was quiet, but only 15 min from San Pedro by golf cart. Lots of good restaurants and dive shops within minutes of house.

Beautiful

Was a wonderful house to celebrate my mothers birthday for a week. Jonathan and Therese are great and extremely accommodating! The house dogs were a much added bonus to this house. I would highly recommend you staying here during your next visit to San Pedro. Belize is a beautiful place!

Good Location but needs some work

Furniture is worn and tired. Front door had no lock. Housekeeping was very hit and miss. Boat captain was in his last days and had short timers syndrome. The property itself is lovely, but lot next door was being cleared while we were there (obviously no fault of property owner). The location is good as it is close to a lot of restaurants and Secret Beach.

We had the absolute most UNBELIZABLE time at Casa Blanca! Johnathan and his family were the best at giving advice and guiding us for snorkling, fishing, going to sight see and the local cuisine! We enjoyed them so much we cant wait to plan another trip with them as our guide! The house was clean and in a safe location. Absolutely LOVED this place!

Place was great. Jonathan was great with the boat. He was very helpful with fishing and snorkeling. His spots were fabulous. Therese prepared wonderful meals. Their conch ceviche was out of this world. Would love to come back.

Fantastic place with really great caretakers. Jonathan and Therese make a great pair and took excellent care of us. We went fishing and snorkeling with jonathan as well as Caye Caulker, Therese made sure the house was clean and cooked us dinner two times. She is a great cook. We can’t wait to come back!!

Everything about our experience at Casa Blanca was fabulous. Our group of 8 adults was picked up at the San Pedro airport by Daniel ("Danny") and transported via boat (with ALL our luggage) to the house. Danny made himself available throughout our stay and several times took us into town via boat. Therese was also amazing and cooked several dinners for us which was super nice after a long day of diving and fishing. The dive shop we used (Scuba Daze) was a short, 3-minute walk away and provided outstanding service. The fishing outfit we used (El Pescador) was a 10-minute golf cart drive away and also superb. Communication between us and our hosts, Danny, Therese, and the various activities we enjoyed was quick and always with a smile! Everyone in our group commented several times that they would most definitely return! VERY highly recommend.

Wonderful San Pedro Getaway for Groups!

Our group of 8 stayed at Casa Blanca for 6 nights, and had a wonderful time. Rachel was fantastic before arrival. She arranged our golf carts and had everything coordinated ahead of time. Daniel met us at Tropic Air and brought us to the house by private boat. Therese, the on-site housekeeper, had our groceries stocked and kept everything clean and comfortable with daily housekeeping and laundry. One evening, she even cooked the dorado we caught that day—absolutely delicious!The home itself was perfect for our group—clean, spacious, well-equipped, and comfortably air-conditioned throughout.While sargassum is common in June, Daniel was out there frequently clearing it. Daniel was also a phenomenal boat captain who gave great fishing and snorkeling advice. With his help, we caught tarpon, snapper, bonefish, and barracuda—right from the property!We’d return in a heartbeat. Casa Blanca offered the perfect mix of comfort, adventure, and top-notch hospitality.

Wonderful Experience

We had an amazing birthday trip to the Casa Blanca. The house was wonderful, the grounds immaculate, and the staff took care of everything all week. Johnathon took us by boat anywhere we wanted to go, including fishing and snorkeling. Therese and Velda cooked delicious meals for us all week. We enjoyed lounging outside under the palm trees and on the dock. We highly recommend the Casa Blanca to anyone from families with small kids to adults only who want to get away!

What a great experience

Casa Blanca is a special place. It had everything we needed or wanted for 8 adults. Very clean. The beds were very comfortable. Having a boat and a captain was a game changer. Jonathan was the best. He took us snorkeling and fishing whenever we wanted. And answered more questions than anyone should have to Therese kept us all neat and tidy and even washed our clothes. The two sweet dogs that stayed outside was just icing on the cake. Would recommend and hope to come back again

Family Adventure

Our first time in Belize! We traveled with extended family and Casa Blanca was set up perfect for us. We each had our own bathroom and bedroom suite. Therese prepared a delicious meal for our arrival and took care of housekeeping duties for the week. Jonathan took us on several boating outings. The water is gorgeous around the island. We had limited success with fishing but Jonathan did fillet our catch for us and we enjoyed them at the house. We liked the northern location which was close to town, but also close to Secret Beach. We enjoyed the dock and were able to see a sting ray several times. One thing we weren't prepared for was frequent power outages. Most afternoons the electric was off for about 3 hours so we planned our activities accordingly.

Perfect Vacation for our Family of 7!!

This place is perfect! Our family of 7 spent 5 days here and it was amazing. Jonathan’s laid back personality immediately set the tone to just relax. He picked us up from the San Pedro airport, poor guy had to wait on us because our flight was late. He got us to the house and made sure we had everything we needed. He even had the golf carts ready for us at the house which was perfect because we were starving and needed to eat quickly. The house was comfortable, accommodating and clean. We met Therese the next morning as she was making breakfast for us. So good! She and Jonathan answered all our questions and gave suggestions on when and where to go. She kept us supplied with clean towels and dishes, cleaned the house and made our beds daily. Jonathan took a few of us fishing and was a great coach. Therese cooked up our fish for us and it was so delicious. The grounds of the house are clean and well kept, the dock was enjoyed multiple times a day. This place is like a resort, but all to yourself. Rachel, the owner was quick to respond to emails and give suggestions. Highly recommend this place!

Long needed trip

The 6 of us (2 parents, two 18 year olds and two 21 year olds) stayed for the week and had a fantastic trip. Andy & Jonathan picked us up at the airport, we took the boat to the house, and we had 2 golf carts there waiting for us. Their families helped stock the fridge, and made dinner our first night. During our week, we ventured to secret beach twice, went to Caye Caulker for a day and did a surprise tarpon feeding. Another day we went fishing and then went to a local restaurant where we drove up via boat and they cooked our catch and we had it for lunch. Andy also helped to book us a last minute snorkel / shark ray alley excursion. The house is far enough away from town for the privacy we wanted, but close enough to do secret beach multiple times, as well as the truck stop multiple nights. Each day when we came back from that days adventure, the beds were made, dishes cleaned, laundry done and folded. Note that each of the 4 bedrooms (2 upstairs, 2 downstairs) have their own bathroom so keep in mind if u share toiletries. The Palapa on the end dock with a hammock and 4 cushioned chaises was a great way to enjoy our morning coffee / tea. Thank you Andy & Jonathan for your professionalism - we had a fantastic authentic Belizean vacation!

Fabulous Accommodations for a Large Group with Some Room for Improvement

My overall rating is 3 1/2 stars not 3, but no option for a half star. First off, these accommodations are absolutely fantastic for a family or large group. The four bedrooms are all gigantic with their own large bathroom and the public area is incredibly spacious. . We loved the location - it is in the quieter area of Ambergis Caye, which is what we wanted. However, if proximity to San Pedro is important to you, this may not be the place for you. Areas for improvement: 1. If you are primarily choosing this rental for the availability of the boat and captain (as we did, wanting the fish every day), I would suggest you notify the owners before and have them relay this information to Jonathan, the captain. While he did rise to the occasion and we did some great fishing, it seemed he wasn't used to having guests that would utilize his services that much. 2. If you are wanting Therese to cook meals for you, these need to be set up in advance and it is at her discretion whether "she is up to it." I had said in advance that we would be eating at the house half of our stay (3 nights) but she only cooked one night and then was "not up to it." 3. I did not realize that laundry service was included in our stay but it was never offered to us by Therese. We could have done it ourselves but the laundry room was locked. 4. The "house dogs" that live outside are precious but they had visible ticks and flies. I would love to see someone give them some medication.

Overall Great stay and Fantastic Value

The Pros: Having the boat at our disposal was incredible. We were picked up from and dropped off at the airport from the boat. Jonathan took us into town for meals. He also took us fishing which was an absolute blast. We probably caught 25 fish that day. A/C is a luxury in Belize. Walking into a cool house after a day of swimming is amazing (as is sleeping with A/C). The dock is great. We ate some snacks, watched sunrises (for the early risers), sunbathed, read books, and swam at the end of the dock. The house itself is a great space. The bedrooms are large with comfortable beds and pillows, large living room areas, and good sized kitchens, and large patios. Therese did the dishes almost every morning of our stay and also did laundry for us which was awesome. The Cons: The mosquitos. We were definitely highly encouraged to bring bug spray but we didn't realize how crazy the mosquitos are. We had ordered two golf carts because the boat can't be operated at night. So some people took the golf carts up to the house while others took the boat. The ones who took the golf carts got swarmed by mosquitos upon arrival and had to sprint inside. Again, we were warned to bring bug spray but I would apply it on your way to the house. Particularly if you go during wet season. It sounds like they aren't a problem the rest of the year. Therese was short staffed and not able to cook for us. We ended up taking the fish we caught to Tropical Escape (highly recommend) where they cooked them

Belize Sept 2022

We were referred to Casa Blanca by our neighbors who were there in 11/2021. They were spot on with everything. Jonathan was there to pick us up at the airport with the boat. We were then greeted at the property by Therese, Velda, Alicia, Steven and of course Luna. Jonathan had arranged for us to have golf carts ready for us when we arrived. The property was looked just as it was pictured, everything was clean and in order. That first night Therese and Velda made us dinner, it was amazing they are great cooks and shared many of their recipes. We enjoyed it so much they made us several dinners including the last night when they prepared the fish we had got the day before. That night we all ate together, they felt like part of our family. They shared and answered so many questions regarding the Belize traditions. Jonathan and Junior took us snorkeling, to Hol Chan, Caye Caulker, fishing wherever we wanted to go. The two of them they were a wealth of information and led us to some amazing snorkeling/fishing. Each day we returned to the house to find it clean, fresh towels, linens and they even did you wash if it needed to be done. Steven kept the grounds nice and clean for us. I can't say enough about the experience, I am not sure I can stay at another VRBO we were spoiled for sure. The only way we would go back to San Pedro is if Jonathan and his family were there to share our vacation with us at Casa Blanca. It was a great vacation.

Best VACA ever!!!!!!

Excellent staff. Jonathan, Therese, and Velda will make you feel like you 've known them for years. House was just as shown. Boat was a huge plus. The grounds were immaculate. Will definitely be back. Letting Therese and Velda cook for you is a must. Jonathan knows everyone on the island. Trust in him to set up any excursion you want.

Third time staying at this property. Great all three times. Unfortunately they had lost some of their help for no fault of theirs. But Jonathan and Therese did great job of taking care of us. The only thing that had changed from previous stay was fishing inside the reef required a guide so we had to pay extra per day for that as Jonathan was not one. Jonathan arranged that for us so no issue really than just extra cost.

Felt like a stay with friends

Where to begin... This was by far the best travel experience we have had in a while. We had two families, four adults, two 9 year old boys and two 11 year old girls. From the very beginning Rachel was responsive to questions and provided great information for us to be prepared for our trip. We were massively delayed at BZE customs but after a weary travel day, Andy and Jonathan were waiting for us at the San Pedro airport. Little did we know then how much these two would make an impression on our entire trip. The house itself is beautiful, well appointed, and though far north of the town center it is a short boat ride (and we preferred the distance). The girls prepared amazing food for us the first two nights - even accommodating vegetarians and the pickiest of little eaters who at everything up. They were attentive to our needs at all times, even helped braid the girls hair and comb out tangles of seaweed after snorkeling. The house incredibly clean, they did laundry as needed, and even let our kids play with their beautiful girls. Honestly, the best part of the trip was Captain Andy and Jonathan. They arranged multiple snorkel trips, fishing, tours of the island by boat and since Andy is a dive master was able to do a dive trip for two of our adults (gear was arranged through a dive shop in town). I definitely suggest taking advantage of this skill of his! Andy has lived on the island his whole life, so he knows a lot of people and can connect you with any activity you are interested in. Jonathan became the BFF of the boys, patiently going 'coconut hunting' and machete to the coconut water, free diving to collect conch shells and opening them up on the dock, and generally just putting up with the incessant questions from the boys. Andy and Jonathan were incredibly friendly and fun to be around, indulged all our requests, and made us feel like we were staying with friends instead of at a VRBO. We wish we had stayed longer, though we wanted to see the ruins and caves on the mainland. We will definitely be back to Belize and will make this house, Andy, Jonathan, and the girls a major part of our planning!
