Welcome to Kay's Downtown Hideaway! Nestled in downtown Sylva, our newly renovated home is in walking distance to restaurants, shopping, brewery's, parks, and more. Our home offers 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. You'll be close to waterfalls, hiking trails, white water rafting, canoeing, zip lining, lakes, Harrahs Cherokee Casino, Skiing and more! Asheville is about 45 minutes away. Enjoy the peaceful creek running alongside the porch while you sip your morning coffee and relax!

Our home is newly renovated and has luxury vinyl plank throughout. (No carpet, yay!) Here at Kay’s downtown hideaway, you’ll have all of the "in town conveniences” while still being tucked away in your own private area.

It’s a short 3 minute walk across the street to Mark Watson Park which includes tennis courts, basketball courts, a playground, dog park and ball fields. Walk to quaint, historic downtown Sylva in 6 minutes where you’ll have plenty of dining options, shopping, breweries, wine bar, coffee shops, ice cream, chocolate shop and more! There is an art fair on Saturdays downtown as well!

Kay's is a quiet and peaceful getaway home that has something for everyone. Whether you just want to order take out and binge watch Netflix or go explore all of the beauty and outdoor activities that Western North Carolina has to offer, Kay's Downtown Hideaway has got you covered!

You’ll have easy access to waterfalls, tubing, white water rafting, zip lining, hiking trails, fishing and more all in a short driving distance.

Take a stroll downtown and go shopping and eat at one of the great restaurants or stop for a drink at one of the three breweries. Or maybe you'll want to go gamble your pocket change at Harrahs Cherokee Casino which is a short 20 minute drive away. In the morning you can sit on the porch swing and drink your coffee while enjoying the fresh mountain air and listening to the creek run by!

Our Neighborhood is safe and quiet. There is a community garden a short 3 minute walk away. There are two churches in the neighborhood. The Sylva farmers market is only a 7 minute walk away and in that same area, there are free concerts every Friday night at the Bridge Park gazebo during the summer!

Farmers market starts at 9am beginning April 3 and goes until noon each Saturday through October. The Wednesday evening market will begin at 3:30 at Innovation Station at Dillsboro and goes until 6:30.

The Sylva public pool is an 8 minute walk away. Historic downtown Dillsboro is a 3 minute drive. Western Carolina University is about 10 minutes. Harrahs Cherokee Casino is a 20 minute drive away. The entrance to the most beautiful section of the Blue Ridge Parkway is 10 minutes away. Hop over to Lake Junaluska and Waynesville in about 20 minutes & Maggie Valley- 25 minutes. Cataloochee Ski resort is a 45 minute drive. Asheville is about 45 minutes away!

The home has easy year round access!
