My family enjoyed our stay at Lucy Beach Front Margate. It was easy to contact the Host, which was very helpful. Loved the deck and easy access to beach and everything Margate has to offer.

Great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. If you want to be in the center of activity in Margate, this house puts you in it. The roof deck and balconies are all great with beautiful views, the house is in excellent condition (especially for a beach house), the kitchen and bathrooms are quite nice, and the space overall is very pleasant.

I’d give it 10 starts

This was our second year at Lucy Margate. The location of the house couldn’t be any better. The cleanliness and amenities are above and beyond any rental/VRBO. The rooftop deck is another plus. Oh, I can’t forget about the beds….so comfy with hotel style bedding. Communication with property manager was great throughout the stay.

Recover and Recharge on the Beach!

Our family has enjoyed this property for past 2 summers and fall escapes as well! What’s not to love .. gorgeous views, the beach footsteps away, Lucy to watch over you and the Greenhouse to feed you -delish ! The owner is extremely responsive and the condo is immaculate complete w luxury bedding and sheets! I was recovering from cancer surgery this summer and this property and vacation was the best medicine !

Great stay at Lucy Beachfront

We had a wonderful stay here with our 3 children ages 16, 19 & 22. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. The rooftop terrace was wonderful for outside dining with an ocean view, and the family room/dining room was perfect for watching a movie all together or playing board games. The home is only a few steps from the beach and a 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants. There were no noise issues at all mid- week. We would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a getaway to Margate.

Family Vacation Down the Shore

We had a wonderful stay at Lucy Beach Front! The home was very clean and fully stocked with everything we needed to enjoy a beach vacation - chairs, umbrella and plenty of towels. The locations is ideal for beach days and also walking distance from lots of great restaurants. Parking for three sedans which is also great. The rooftop terrace overlooking the beach is awesome, we even saw dolphins one evening. It is a little noisy due to the bar next door, but we enjoyed the lively ambiance and the music didn’t go on too late in the evening so it didn’t bother us. Plus the people-watching from the terrace was top notch. Overall a terrific stay!

I’m not sure what to highlight first, the cleanliness, luxury linens, rooftop deck, or beachfront location. I was super impressed from the second I entered the unit. The owner took care of everything from providing luxury linens and towels, daily trash removal, and also provided a variety of k-cups for the coffee pot. Having the linens, towels, some beach chairs/tags provided to us was very helpful. I loved that the kitchen was on the 1st floor (up a flight of steps) and that the bedrooms were on a separate floor. The views from each balcony were beautiful and the fully furnished rooftop deck was amazing. We had such a great experience and hope to rent this unit again in the future. We didn’t have to reach out to the property manager often but when we did, he/she was very responsive.

Loved it!

Full disclosure: I'm spoiled. So I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this rental! It's super comfortable- the beds/linens, a/c, towels, furniture- indoor and out! Someone has paid a lot of attention to every detail. I cooked a bunch. Kitchen serviceable. Everything is in good working condition. It was even stocked w all our basic needs- paper goods, laundry/ dish/ d/w soaps etc. What a pleasure not have to run out and procure all that for a brief stay! Hi end water filtration system on kitchen sink! Fabulous roofdeck! Extremely responsive prop manager! Noise was not a problem, as weekend dj was done by 10 pm and no loud music during the week. We had a great stay. Ty JL. Can't wait to return next year.

Wonderful beach rental

We really enjoyed our 2 weeks at this beachfront 3 bedroom rental. Great location, owner was easy to communicate with. Very clean. We can’t wait to come back next summer.

Superb beachfront rental in Margate City

We could not have enjoyed this stay more. The home itself is elegantly appointed, and there are spectacular views from every floor. We especially enjoyed dining on the rooftop in the evenings. I highly recommend this host and property!

Felt right at home

I cannot say enough about this property. We just returned from our 8 night stay and are already thinking about when we can go back. The house is well cared for and includes nice touches such as beach tags, bedding and towels. It is beautifully decorated with plenty of room. The location has many more pluses than minuses. Yes, it is next to the Greenhouse and can get a little loud some nights, but it’s never late. Most of the rooms have an amazing beach view. The house is literally steps away. We were sad that Lucy is under construction and behind scaffolding but the gift shop is open should you wish to learn more. The house is also an easy 5 minute walk to downtown restaurants and shops. We found some new favorites including Shuckers, Johnny’s Cafe and the Dairy Bar in addition to our favorite, Tomatoes. Thank you J.L.!

Right next to the beach, be prepared for noise

This is a convenient property to stay in as it is right next to the beach, but the music from the restaurant/bar next door is quite loud. It goes every night and on Friday night there was a live band that went until 11 pm or so. The beds were comfortable, the property was clean, and the owner was very responsive and flexible. The kitchen is well stocked and appliances appear to be new. The only other downside is that the water pressure is not very good in the showers.

Perfect location

Ideal location with the softest linens/towels, beautiful view of the ocean, plenty of living space, and ease of parking for two cars. We were right in the heart of everything! Will definitely stay there again!

Great time at the beach

This is a lovely apartment with great views from every floor and all the amenities, including modern and comfortable furniture, a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, ample linens, patio furniture, beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, etc. The location is amazing, right across the street from Lucy (iconic elephant house), and right on the beach. The roof deck provides amazing views of Atlantic Ocean and is a great place to catch the sun. There is even a wet bar just inside the door. The landlord was wonderful; welcoming, attentive, responsive, and generous. We really appreciated small touches like new beach towels, and the fact that the apartment was already stocked with basics like coffee, tea and bottled water on arrival. The only possible drawback, and this really did not bother us, is that the apartment is directly next to the Greenhouse, which is a busy restaurant and bar, with live music or a DJ many nights of the week. Honestly, the live music was usually pleasant, like having VIP seats for at a concert. But particularly on Sundays from about 4 to 8 there is an active outdoor bar scene with a DJ and dancing, that is quite noticable. The good news is the music stops by 8 PM, so it really was more fun than not almost all the time. All in all we were very comfortable, really enjoyed the apartment and the location, and had a great time overall. We certainly would be happy to stay here again if we come back to Margate, next year. And we are very grateful to our lovely host for making our stay so special.
