One of the property's most distinctive features is the backyard, which is shaded by beautiful oak trees that are more than 100 years old. These mature trees provide character, privacy, and shade that many guests specifically enjoy. As with any heavily wooded property, leaves and natural debris can occasionally make their way into the pool, particularly during windy weather. The pool is professionally serviced and maintained, and we're sorry if it did not meet your expectations during your stay. The backyard also features unique metal artwork and natural landscaping that reflect the character of the property. While we understand these design elements may not appeal to every guest, many visitors appreciate the eclectic and established garden atmosphere. We continually invest in improvements throughout the property and appreciate your feedback regarding the kitchen inventory and outdoor amenities. The kitchen has all new appliances within the past year and the cabinets are all new and custom to match the Fredericksburg feel of the house, which is over 100 years old.
