When coming to Concan, this is a good place to stay.

Very nice place for getting the summer started with family. Easy doing business and checking in and out was problem free.

A good time was had by all

We had a great stay! The house was perfect for our group of 12 adults—cozy enough that we could all gather together for games and stories, but spacious enough that we never felt cramped. The beds were super comfortable, and having a washer and dryer was a huge plus after days on the river. The location was also great—just a short walk to Hippie Chicks and the convenience store. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back!

Family vacation

This property was just perfect! The view on the outside is VERY deceiving. There is plenty of room for everyone. Walking distance to convenience store, pool, Hippie Chicks, and so much more. Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous Location and Great House for Young Folks

We brought my college-age son and a bunch of friends for some river time and we all agreed that the house was fantastic! Plenty of beds, plenty of bathrooms, and close to all of the attractions that the young folks like (Joe Jimmy's, House Pasture, Garner.) The house was stocked with the basics but we sure missed having a second fridge for drinks. We made do with doing a cooler shuffle every morning so no biggie. Julia was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Great getaway with friends and family on the Frio

We decided last minute to take a group trip to the Frio and were lucky enough to find this gem available. It fit our group perfectly so that everyone had a bed and also tons of living space inside. House had plenty of room for everyone. Kids loved playing volleyball outside. Dining area was HUGE! Location was perfect and within walking distance to Hippie Chic's River Shack where we ate dinner twice. Super short drive down to both crossings. Julie was super nice & prompt to answer any questions we had prior to arriving. The kids are already wanting us to book again for next year. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Frio stay

The house was perfect for our large family. It had all the basic amenities and was cozy. We loved the large dining table, we were able to sit all 15 of us down for dinner together. The proximity to the Frio and Garner State park are great. All the secondary beds were very firm but the master was very soft.The host, Julie, was very prompt in responding to messages and very clear with instructions, which made the stay relaxing. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay in Concan for a large group.

Great house and owner.

It was just a beautiful well laid out house, and very clean. The oven needs to be replaced, and we were out the second refrigerator that was advertised. It had everything else you would need but having some kitchen towels on hand would be helpful. Overall, very nice but needs a tiny amount of attention.

Little disappointed for the price

Property was nice ceiling fan in dining area did not work. Yard needed to be cut we weren’t able to play volleyball. Living room blind broken, no hot water in the master bedroom, no blinds in the dining area, and back door did not have a dead bolt lock.

Hidden Gem

We have been staying in Concan since 2010 . Casa Amigos did not disappoint. It is very spacey. Enough room for everyone. The dining room table was huge . We had lots of room for game night . Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed . They had 2 refrigerators which came in very handy . We will definitely be staying her again .

Family vacation

Stayed at this house for family vacation and we loved it. you get exactly what you see in the pictures. It’s not fancy by any means but it gets the job done. I have a big family and we had so much room. we loved the giant table and the open floor plan. You do have to pay to use the pool but other then that no complaints good family home to stay in.

Our family of 7 is from the North Texas area. We purchased Casa Amigos in 2021 as a way to escape the remnants of the COVID shut down. We worked as an entire family to transform this cabin into a place where we could get away, relax and enjoy each other and the breathtaking hill country as well as the crisp Frio river. We were not disappointed!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Pineview Rd is special in that we have our own street of 7 unique cabins. It is a dead end road. There is only one way in and out and so through traffic is almost nonexistent. It is quiet and distinctive in that we are a short walking distance from a great restaurant & bar, putt putt, a liquor store and the only public pool in Concan!

Casa Amigos is unique in that we are on a property and a half. We have a back patio and grill, our own private paved basketball pad and an entire side yard for volleyball. We also have stakes in the backyard to play horseshoes! We ask that you bring your own equipment if you choose to use these accommodations as those we have provided have unfortunately disappeared.
