Turtle Hatch at Blue Haven is a 2 bedroom home in the heart of Steinhatchee.

A guest at Blue Haven will have easy access to all that Steinhatchee has to offer. This newly built home is just blocks from the Marinas, and restaurants. If the guest prefers to stay on property there are many games both indoor and outdoor to choose from.
The kitchen and living room have an open design under the vaulted ceiling. The kitchen is a full working kitchen with a complete set of cooking tools. Both bedrooms have their own attached full bath and tiled shower. The bedrooms can be set up with 1 king bed or 2 xl twin beds.
The outside area includes a large front porch with a dining and seating area. The side yard features a new covered grill and dining area. Attached to the grill area is an enclosed laundry and storage for the outside games.
There is ample parking and boat and gear washing area. For anglers and seafood enthusiasts, Blue Haven offers easy access to public fish cleaning stations located at both Sea Hag Maria and Steinhatchee Marina. You can clean your own catch or enlist help from professionals. We have kayaks for you to enjoy the many rivers and creeks. Corn hole, tetherball, ladder golf are just a few of the out door games we have available. Pickleball courts are just across the river and we have paddles for you to use. Lots of board games are inside to enjoy as well.

We have smart door locks on all the exit doors, front and back. There is one ring doorbell on the side entrance entering into the breezeway.

Owners were pleasant to work with and gave us all kinds of info about the area. House was beautiful and had everything you needed. Boat parking available. Scalloping was awesome along with great weather during our week.

Great place to stay

This property had everything you needed for a fantastic vacation. Extremely clean. AC- worked amazing! Towels and shirts extremely soft. Communications with the host was incredible and will stay there again

Family Scallop Trip

I stayed here with family to get into some scallops. We had an amazing time and the property was beyond our expectations. The inside is modern and comfortable and there is plenty of outdoor areas. The host is very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend and will definitely be returning!

Immaculate Beachy Cottage

Turtle Hatch was exactly as described. Melanie was a gracious hostess and easy to communicate with. The home was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and centrally located in the quiet little town. No view to speak of, but the breeze on the screened in porch was enjoyable.

Absolutely perfect! Best vacation EVER!

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The house is so clean with everything you need. Very spacious. Outdoor fun and very kid friendly. Great location and plenty of parking for boat and trailer. It felt like home. The hostess was amazing, left a sweet gift for our girls and made sure everything was perfect for us during our stay. Definitely will return!

5 Stars – Perfect Steinhatchee Stay!

We had an amazing 4th of July getaway at this house in Steinhatchee! The home felt brand new—super clean, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The decor was fun and inviting, making it feel like a true vacation home from the moment we walked in.The hosts truly went above and beyond. They were super responsive and accommodating, even leaving us a bag of ice to kick off our scalloping trip—such a thoughtful touch! The house was stocked with everything we could need or want, including a grill, laundry, outdoor games, and a screened front porch where we could relax and enjoy the evenings. We even had a perfect view of the fireworks right from the porch!The location was also perfect—just a short drive to the boat ramp and Sea Hag Marina, and within walking distance to Dollar General and Skully’s, where we picked up their famous smoked mullet dip (a must-try!). Everything was super convenient, making our stay even more enjoyable.This place had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing trip. 10/10—would absolutely stay here again!

Do yourself a favor….if you’re looking in the Steinhatchee area to visit, stay with Blue Haven! When I say they went “above and beyond” it still doesn’t even say enough! The home is spacious, up to date, 2/2 with so many perfect touches to help insure your perfect stay! I truly mean it. The construction of the property is great craftsmanship. Every component they chose for this property is top of the line. Every room is well stocked with anything a guest would need or want. Even the outdoor area! The host have great communication and also totally respect all privacy for the entire visit! We will 100% book again.

Labor Day Weekend at Blue Haven

Our stay in Blue Haven was everything we could’ve imagined and more! The property was very well kept up, the house was spotless, and the interior was furnished so cute! You could tell this place was very new, it smelled new! The hosts even left us a cute game for us to play! The kitchen was fully stocked from head to toe with everything you could need, there was plenty of towels, and many outdoor games. Highly recommend especially if you’re bringing a boat and maybe a few people, because this property is perfect for it. We absolutely be back!!!

Beautiful Home in Steinhachi conveniently located to everything

I definitely give this property five stars. We loved everything about this property. The home is in an a very convenient location. The house was brand new. The house was clean, organized, and stocked with absolutely everything you could possibly need. The owners have literally thought of EVERYTHING . Even when we got in the house, they had some popsicles in the freezer and put out chocolates and Little wooden airplanes for our kids to build while my husband and I were unloading the car. This made unpacking a breeze and was much appreciated. The house is easy to get in and out of due to the locking system on the door. Every light switch is labeled throughout the whole house which makes it convenient. I love how every single room has its own air conditioner control with lots of plug ins for electronic devices. We did not grill out while we were there, but they have a brand new grill with a cute patio table and washer and dryer which is always a plus. When we were not scalloping or out on the boat my husband and I would hang out on either the front patio and have a glass of wine or outback playing tetherball with the kids. We had absolutely no issues so there was no need for us to get in contact with the caretaker. However, she did check on us to make sure we didn’t need anything & wanted to let us know that if we needed extra time to check out that that there was no rush.I have already shared this property with several friends and plan on booking it again for next year. .
