PS Alexander House - Midcentury Modern Oasis *2023 MODERNISM HOME TOUR HOUSE*

*2023 MODERNISM HOME TOUR HOUSE* This William Krisel designed/Alexander-built home is the quintessential midcentury modern home synonymous with Palm Springs. Located on a pie-shaped lot at the end of a cul-de-sac, it has it all: large, private, resort-like backyard complete with pool & hot tub, pool floats, BBQ, outside dining table, cabana, firepit, cornhole, pool basketball, giant Jenga, mountain views and more. This home is freshly renovated and has one king and two queen beds. Each of the three bedroom has a ceiling fan and a 55-inch television. The main, stylishly-decorated living area contains a fully-stocked kitchen, island seating, dining table, gas fireplace, 65-inch television and plenty of books, board games & puzzles. The backyard’s size & orientation allows for maximum sun exposure and has a cabana with misters. The house is located two miles from the heart of downtown Palm Springs but is so great that you may never want to leave!

Other amenities include: washer & dryer, Nespresso machine & pods, hairdryer, iron/ironing board, twin-size air mattress/bedding, air pump, toiletries, bath & beach towels and two yoga mats. Victoria Park is within walking distance.

Please note that this is not a party house and the city of Palm Springs maintains strict noise regulations. Also, Palm Springs is located in the Sonoran Desert and extreme heat and winds are possible.

We allow up to two dogs <50lbs for $100 fee. Also, the pool can be heated for $100/day.

Please note: there is a Ring camera in the carport and a Ring doorbell on the front door which sees the pool

Perfect mid century modern home. Fantastic nicely landscaped private backyard with great pool and hot tub. Quiet, relaxing neighborhood. Perfect place to stay for Palm Springs vacation!

Great family stay

We have stayed in Palm Springs many times and this is one of the nicest properties. House is great and the backyard is perfect for hanging by the pool. Very clean and well cared. Our boys, 13 and 15, loved the pool and the basketball hoop. Convenient location. Tony, the property manager, met us at check in and walked us thru the property which was great and followed up through our stay to make sure everything was going well. Owners are also great and on top of everything. Very easy to work with.

Perfection

The house was perfect from the minute we walked in. Tony and the owners were quick and always available for anything we needed. The house is a perfect location in Palm Springs. The only bad part was we didn’t have time to stay longer at the house. A must rent if you plan to go to Palm Springs. Will differently text Tony (property manager) and the owners to rent when in PS again.

Beautiful, sparkling clean home

The home decor perfectly captures the Palm Springs mid century vacation feel. Kitchen was well stocked for all the cooking we did at home, which was a lot. The outdoor grill was clean and ready to use (we don’t have that experience everywhere). The yard is quite big and we used all the amenities including roasting marshmallows for s’more and telling spooky stories around the fire. Needless to say, the pool was a big hit with the grands. They declared this as one of their favorite homes we’ve stayed in. A high compliment indeed. I have nothing but good things to say about the owners who were quickly responsive and very conscientious about any issues that arose. I appreciated their availability for direct communication. I highly recommend this beautiful home.

Loved the Alexander House

We all had a wonderful experience. The house exceeded our expectations. The yard and outdoor living spaces were fantastic. We loved our experience and I will recommend it anyone even considering a trip to the desert. Please note for future guests: Tony did an amazing job warming thr house up with lights, and music, and his enthusiasm, however, meeting him at a specified time was slightly stressful since we were driving from LAX in an unfamiliar car, on unfamiliar freeways, looking for a late lunch in an unfamiliar town...thus finding ourselves on a "schedule" of all things as our vacation was just beginning. We also really needed paper towels, a dish rag for minor clean ups, countertops, and tabletop maintenance, and a grill brush for the BBQ. I also found what I believe to be doggy doo...by trying to pick up with my fingers, what I thought was debris in the lawn. We don't have a dog and that was a very gross experience in your back yard. Please, please, please only take this small list as helpful hints for future guests. Cheers! Joe

Perfect retreat

The property is perfectly laid out, especially the backyard with distinct areas for pool, play, dining and firepit (quiet area). The decor is fun and tasteful. Perfect home for entertaining with friends!

Beautiful home

I spent a lovely week at this home with my family for Thanksgiving. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking & the bedrooms were comfortable. Overall, the home was sparkling clean with thoughtful touches throughout. We were thankful for the many books and games available for use during our stay. And the outdoor space was very relaxing. The pool and hot tub were so much fun and the fire pit produced an impressive amount of heat to take the chill off of the cool evenings. Great property!
