The house was literally steps from the beach in a peaceful neighborhood with friendly locals that made us feel welcome. The house had all the usual appliances that one may need although we tended to only have breakfast in and went out for dinner. The washer and dryer made it possible to pack light rather than needing a change of clothes for every day. Super relaxing vacation which helped melt stress of life away!

A Slice of Heaven

This may be Exuma's hidden Gem... if you are looking to relax, unwind, and listen to the waves all day this place is for you. We loved the private location and pristine beach to enjoy our days. The house was the perfect size and layout and was completely renovated and new with every appliance and amenity you could need. I will definitely recommend it to all my friends and family. You wont be disappointed!!

Perfect Beach House!

We stayed here for 5 nights and could not complain about one thing at this house! The host was MORE than helpful answering tons of questions and helping in any way possible! The house was immaculately clean and comfortable for our stay for our family of 4! We will definitely be back to visit again!

Relaxation at its finest!

Shinida has to be the best host I have stayed with. Her attention to detail is unmatched. The house was perfect for our family and who can beat a few steps walk to be on what feels like your own private beach! It was one of the most relaxing vacations we have had and we all decided this is the only spot to stay on further trips to exuma!

We stayed at Frangipani Beachfront Villa and wanted to share a few observations for future guests. The area of Rolleville is beautiful and off the beaten path, with a nice beach nearby.The owner was very responsive and helpful, providing referrals for local activities and offering concierge-style assistance like grocery delivery and airport pickup. Because of that, we felt a 5 star rating for host communication was deserved.That said, the beachfront is not private as described. There is a public access road along the property line, and people frequently drove or parked there, sometimes blocking the beach view. Two broken-down boats near the beach also partially blocked the path and view. We were approached on the porch by a local who rents kitesurfing equipment, and the interaction felt rude and intrusive. He told us where to park instead of contacting the owner. Had we been informed about the public access, this unpleasant interaction could have been avoided.Inside, the kitchen had persistent ants, requiring all food to be stored in the fridge. Some pantry items were overrun and had to be discarded. Cabinets also needed a deeper cleaning, and the microwave was not working, making it difficult to heat food.The villa and surrounding area are beautiful, and we hope this review helps future guests plan accordingly.

Paradise awaits you

Not only was the property beautiful and right on the beach, Shinida was the best host I've ever had. She and her family treated us like family and made our experience truly memorable. We lived like locals for a week and we don't want to go back to the grind. A bit about the house:The house comfortably hosted 7 of us- two full bathrooms and a nice size kitchen. I highly recommend getting groceries ahead of time. She has a washer & dryer so no need to pack much. We are already planning our next trip!

Amazing family Vacation

This home was incredible. Ocean front, private beach, clean, and had everything we needed. Shinida went above and beyond for our family. A driver picked us up from the airport, she greeted us at the door with all of our groceries we had requested and gave us a quick tour. She also arranged our car rental, excursions, and was very quick to respond with any questions we had! The neighbors around the house let us rent their boat for 2 days, so we were able to see pigs beach 3 times! I felt like I was staying with a family friend. We can’t thank her enough and will recommend this home to everyone! Thank you again for the wonderful experience and kindness Shinida. You are such a light in this world!

Absolutely Incredible

Shinida was our Host and answered all of our questions beforehand, she was quick to respond and super helpful! As she said we had a driver waiting for us at the airport, we arrived at the house to a stocked fridge of groceries we requested along with local beer and complimentary wines. The house was clean and the beach was secluded and even more than what was expected or what you see in the pictures. She booked our excursions and even got us a rental car. The kids and I take some pretty spectacular vacations once a year and this one is definitely in the top 2! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

PERFECTION!

The hostess, Shinida, is absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond to help us locate and recover our luggage when it didn’t arrive on our plane! She also helped us with car rental, stocking the kitchen and taxi service to and from the airport. The house was spotless! It had everything we needed and more. It is literally steps from a beautiful beach and there is a restaurant/bar within walking distance. If I could give a 10 star review I would! If you get a chance to stay here, it is well worth it!

Totally Amazing

Where to start?? Everything you have read so far in previous reviews says it all. Yes, Shinida is the best host we have ever had on a VRBO and we have stayed at many. What ever you need she will deliver and more. Need I say more!! The house is very nice and has the best view of the water. It's 30 yards to the beach and the view is awesome. Just walk south and walk around the rocks at low tide. Enjoy the CHILL!

This is an unbelievable spot right on the water…..it’s like having your own personal beach!

This property was a fantastic find and nice way for my wife and I to spend our anniversary. The property is new and very comfortable with a super view of the water. The house is in Rolleville and an easy drive from the airport…very accessible to George Town but we really stayed put most of the time as our host, the accommodations, beach and local restaurant (Shoreline Cafe is 2 doors down) made it hard to leave for anything else. There is a local store for the essentials. The property was very clean and our host made all the difference…Shinida McKenzie was a fantastic host!!! Very kind, hospitable and accommodating. Shoreline Cafe has the best fried shrimp I’ve ever had…and I’ve had my fair share. My wife and I highly recommend this property!!!

Hands down, best vacation…EVER

I’m not allowed many characters to say all the positive things about our experience during our stay. Shinida is an amazing host. From the time we booked the property several months back until the time we left, the communication was top notch. When we arrived at the airport, Shinida was there to greet us and have us picked up and brought to the property. Anytime we had a question she was happy to answer and never seemed bothered. She helped us book excursions and made this experience the best we’ve ever had. As a result of this, we will be returning and will not stay anywhere else when we visit the island. Thanks Shinida for your hospitality!

Perfect location- more privacy and less people!

The host Shinida was the best- super responsive & went above & beyond. She helped us with car rental, things to do & literally everything. The beach is right outside the property and the kids enjoyed kayaking. The property is about a 5-10 min walk to the popular Cocoplum beach. It has this beautiful sandbar during low tide and we found sun dollars. There are two restaurants you can easily walk to from the property. The house is contemporary, newly built and updated. We wanted the comfort living like back home while experiencing the Bahamian culture. I enjoyed my view from the kitchen and the morning sunrise. For us, we personally prefer this than Georgetown. More privacy and less people. We enjoyed driving and exploring the island. Highly suggest to rent a car while in Exuma wherever you stay so you get to see what the island has to offer. I would absolutely stay here again.

Amazing beach!!!!

Frangipani BeachFront Villa Is located on the most beautiful beach. If you are looking for a quiet vacation with unlimited beach front access this is a great property. There were beach chairs available and kayaks. It was windy during most of our stay but we were able to take the kayaks out on the first day and the water was amazing. If the weather is good you can even kayak to pig beach. The location is a little further away from the main shopping area so you need to stock up unless you intend to drive into the main town. The host was amazing and very responsive. She even helped us book a rental car when we were having trouble. There are some things missing in the home that would make your stay a little easier. There was no where to hang wet clothes or towels and the smaller bedroom didn’t have any side tables. There was also nowhere to put your shower items. These things were minor and wouldn’t deter us from staying again but would certainly be an added convenience.

Amazing!!!

This place was fantastic! The house was beautiful! Everything was brand new, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, etc. But most importantly... the beach... OMG! So awesome!! We saw starfish and stingrays. During low tide, you could walk a mile out and always touch (I'm 5'4) We kayaked to "pig beach" from the house! This was so cool! It's on one of the little islands just across the way. Pay attention to where the boats park during the day - that is pig beach. Took us about 20 min. to kayak there. The kayak's provided by the owner are really nice. There is a great restaurant right next door. They have awesome frozen drinks. There are also some nice sand bars in walking distance. Just take a right on the beach and head toward the white house on the cliff. Once you're close, you'll see them. It may need to be low tide though. Last but not least, the owner was wonderful! She was so helpful and always quick to respond. I've never felt this pampered before from a host. It was really a phenomenal stay and we will definitely be back!!

Frangipani Beachfront Villa

We really loved the house - location, style, layout and of course, the host. We would be happy to go back again, definitely. The host went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed and asked her for. The meet and great at the airport was welcoming and a great way to start our stay. The beach was beautiful, we enjoyed long walks and watching the sunrise. The host went above and beyond from airport pickup, assistance with finding a rental car company nearby, to stocking the refrigerator before we arrived. We had a fantastic stay at this beachfront villa!

First Class beachfront

TLDR; Stay here for the beach front, very nice house, and service that exceeds expectations! Experience pre-arrival: We've never been to Exuma so didn't know what to expect. Groceries are a little limited on the island, but Nevelon and Shinida took care of taking our grocery order and having it stocked at the house before we got there. We had a hard time renting a car as well and mentioned this to them, no problem she found us a car and took care of the arrangements! Arrival: Nevelon waited for us at the airport with a taxi and brought us to the house, about 30 minutes away. Our rental was waiting there and the house was just as described. The view from is harder to photo it's actually much nicer, and right next to Shoreline Restaurant. They made sure we had everything we needed for our stay, it really felt nice to not have to worry about that piece with all the travel stress you go through because of COVID. There was beer and wine in the fridge as well which was nice. The house: The house is very nice, new, and well laid out with plenty of room. The attention to detail they have is evident, the furniture is all comfortable and fits the house nicely. Everything is modern and higher end. We all slept well, and there was a nice self-inflating mattress for the living room so our kids didn't have to share a bed. The view from the deck is amazing, and we carried the deck chairs to the beach everyday to hang out while the kids swam in the water. The water in front of the house is pretty shallow, you can easily wade out 100 feet and the kids loved finding starfish in the water, definitely a highlight for them! Food is very expensive on the island so we appreciated the groceries at the house. We watched the sunrise every morning which you can see from the beach in front of the house. The showers were nice and when there was down time the kids watched TV thanks to the very nice smart TVs in the house. The house has wifi, but internet on Exuma is not very fast anywhere though streaming Netflix worked fine. Departure: Nevelon offered to drive us to the airport and drop our rental back at the house. She really gave us first class service the whole time, checking in during our stay to make sure we didn't need anything and helping with information about things to do and where to go when we were unsure. To sum it up, we loved the house but even more the first class service that came with it!
