Amazing lake view and peaceful cottage with kayaks

Open floor plan with plenty of room for up to 8 people. Master bedroom has lake view, large spanning deck for entertaining and relaxing. Your choice of gas or charcoal grill. Cottage has been completely renovated and designed to make your vacation comfortable and memorable. We just added a fire pit close to the deck and another fire pit down at the sand beach for your enjoyment.
Our wifi is a high speed outdoor reach, so that you can also enjoy our place while homeschooling or working from “home”.

We take health very seriously so we have hired a specialty cleaning crew to come and get our place clean and disinfected. We have a bed sheet policy that for clean and safety reasons we don’t make your bed but leave the bedsheets on the beds so that you can make the beds you need without anyone touching the bedsheets for you.
We don’t provide bath or beach towels, because of hygienic reasons, this is something very personal and every one should use your own. In addition we provide hand towels, kitchen towels and cleaning products.

Cottage is situated on two acres, set back from the road. The private natural beach is shallow and inviting for swimming or relaxing by the lake.

Wonderful time

Great property and host!

This is a great rental. Everything was clean and kitchen was well stocked. Beach area was clean and private. The kids had a great time playing in the water and sand. The neighbors were awesome as well. There was an issue with the internet (due to a storm) and Maria had it taking care of before we ever mentioned anything to her. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Highly recommend!

Peaceful retreat

The house was very clean and had all the amenities you need. The view of Lake Huron was amazing. It was so relaxing to be able to sit and enjoy the beautiful views. Maria was a great hostess with just the right amount of contact, just checking to make sure you didn't need anything. The neighbors were pleasant and introduced themselves. The area is not a tourist trap which makes the pace a little more relaxed.

Peaceful lake getaway

The house and property were wonderful, just as described. Well maintained and updated compared to other similar lake homes. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, perfect for our group of 4 adults and 3 kids. The lake view and private beach were amazing. A bit rocky but plenty of sand for the kids to play. We enjoyed the grill and firepit. The only downside is that there is not much to do or eat nearby, but if you're looking for a quiet and peaceful weekend away with a serene lake view, this is the place!

Pure Michigan

We had a wonderful stay in the cottage. When you enter the home you’re immediately greeted by sweeping views of Lake Huron. The layout of the main level is conducive to gathering and visiting while cooking. The upstairs bedrooms are well appointed and the main bedroom has truly gorgeous views. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could need. The deck was lovely for having lunch and relaxing in the mornings while watching the sunrise. The steps down to the lake are many, but worth it. The private beach was so well used and the lake was so refreshing. It was such a wonderful trip and that was made possible by Maria and her keen attention to detail. We had such a great time and look forward to coming back!

Beautiful house

The house and property were amazing. The house is very clean and beautifully decorated. The beach its self was very nice. Warning… there a lot of stairs. But we knew that from the pictures. The water is VERY rocky. You will definitely want water shoes if you plan on going in. The only draw back is that there is absolutely nothing close by. The closest dollar store is 20ish minutes away and the closet place to really stock up for the week is 40 minutes away. If what you’re looking for is a home base to go out exploring this isn’t the best bet… IF however you’d like a calm vacation on the beach this is a great place. Overall the host and property were excellent.

Great beach vacation

What a lovely, quiet property! We had a great time in the water every day and playing games as a family! The shallow entry was perfect. Kitchen had everything I needed, so we really enjoyed just staying put. The nearby towns seem to have suffered a lot from covid, and some businesses have never recovered, but the people are friendly. There are some local shops, but if you're willing to drive a bit, you'll have everything you could possibly need! Just a great, simple hideaway to rest and recharge!

Relaxing property on Lake Huron

Great communication and follow up from the owner. The property is absolutely beautiful with a fantastic view of Lake Huron and private access to the beach. Would definitely recommend and plan to return again soon!
