Luxury River Front Cottage With Hot Tub & Spectacular Views

Relax and enjoy this dog friendly Luxury River Front Cottage nestled into the hillside along the Susquehanna River in York County. This 1300 sqft Cottage has been completely remodeled in 2021 including an outdoor Jacuzzi Hot Tub, gourmet Kitchen and high end walk in shower. Enjoy the amazing views from practically anywhere in the house or sit on the covered porch for fresh air. Bring a Kayak/Canoe and explore the River or stay in and enjoy the 75 inch Sony TV and Central A/C&Furnace.We offer a front door code for no contact check-in.

This home has 3 bedrooms, each with a Queen Size Bed, a 50 inch Smart TV, and a dresser. There is 1 Full bath with Toilet, Sink, and Walk-In Tile Shower. There is also a washer and dryer in the event you need to wash towels or clothing. The Living Room has a 75 Inch Smart TV (No Cable), NetFlix, Hi Speed Wi-Fi, and an L shape couch to enjoy the TV or the river views. The Living room is an open floor plan into the kitchen and dining area with astonishing views of the river at every glance. The Kitchen comes complete with leathered granite countertops, farmhouse sink, dishwasher, Gas Range/Oven, Microwave, and Stainless Steel Fridge/Freezer all brand new in 2021. The kitchen comes fully stocked with Pots, Pans, Silverware, knife set, utensils, Baking Sheets, Salt, Pepper, oil, casserole dishes, Keurig Coffee Maker, Traditional Drip Coffee Pot, Waffle maker, etc. The dining area is fitted with a locally sourced Live Edge Pine Table built by the Amish in Lancaster County with 6 seats. At the edge of the Kitchen sits a bar countertop with 4 additional chairs for additional seating. The Front Porch has comfortable outdoor furniture with seating for 8, 3-4 person Hot Tub and a gas grill for making your homecooked meals.

The Home is built into the river hills along a quiet peaceful road. Traffic is at a minimum where only locals who live nearby use this road. There is a lower and an upper parking area for at least 6 or more vehicles. The fireplace is inoperable and should not be used. There is no garage/basement access as this is used for storage. There are multiple options for restaurants, bars, food delivery etc in the area.

This riverside home is a great oasis for relaxation. The view is great! Check-in and check-out were easy and the host was very responsive to impromptu inquiries. Our dogs enjoyed our restful stay here, too. The design of the home is lovely (just as pictured), and everything was clean and comfortable. We were here in the winter, after a snow and during the rain, and kept warm and cozy without turning up the heat. Every detail was considered to make for a great visit, like the outdoor hot tub and the well-equipped kitchen. I definitely recommend this home and I hope to return in another season.

The home and water views were even better in person. We enjoyed the hot tub, stars and wine at night, coffee and views of the sunrise behind the mountains in the morning on the covered deck. Within 25 minutes or less of all little downtown areas - Lancaster, York, Marietta. Spent one afternoon at Moon Dancer Vineyard Winery, painted pumpkins and listened to live music. Relaxing, cozy and very friendly neighborhood in a secluded setting. Perfect fall getaway.

The view from the rental was great! Lots of windows. The deck was also situated with a great view and plenty of seating. It was great place to spend time with family.

Girls Getaway

We are three old friends who take a little vacation together every summer. We love outlet shopping and so decided to try Lancaster this year. We loved this home with its beautiful view and easy access to Route 30 and all the sights and fun of the Lancaster area. We did not use the hot tub, so can't comment on that. Nor did we use the outdoor seating area as it was quite humid during our stay. The interior was beautifully appointed and perfect for our needs. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Overall—highly recommend!

3 Day Getaway

Tucked away on a small residentialroad, right on the Susquehanna river, the property offers the traveler a hidden getaway between York and Lancaster, with modern bath, kitchen and living room. The owner is accessible and kind. The views are panoramic and the tub on the porch restorative. The most fun was wandering the unexplored region and discovering Becky’s Kitchen, High Top viewing hill, the National Clock museum and Dutch Apple Dinner theater. A happy adventure!

Lovely property

stunning property! The wall-to-wall windows overlooking the river offer a gorgeous, uninterrupted view. The open-plan design really adds a sense of spaciousness, and a high-quality kitchen is a major plus. The large bathroom with an extra-large shower is luxurious with numerous shower heads. Providing chargers for all your devices is such a thoughtful touch. Plus, the raised deck with ample seating and a hot tub is the perfect place to relax and take in the surroundings. I would advise that young children might be a bit of a struggle in this property as it is built into the side of a steep hill and there are some inside steps that might be challenging for early walkers.

Lovely, relaxing way to spend Christmas. Lots to do in the area and comfortable living area. Kitchen is great. Too bad the fireplace is not working but the Jacuzzi was a real treat

Amazing getaway!

From our check in to check out everyone was amazing! We booked a last minute getaway with our children and could not be happier ! Home is spacious , clean and peaceful! The views are amazing, we caught so many fish on our down time by the river ! Can't wait to go back and can't forget our host who was just a text away and super responsive ! ;)

Solo Getaway

I decided to take my first ever solo trip over the 20th anniversary of my mother’s passing. The time alone was perfect, and I could not have picked a more beautiful or more peaceful spot. This house was absolutely perfect. What the pictures show is exactly what you get! It had everything I needed and more. And the views of the sunsets from the porch were amazing. On the day I left I accidentally left my luggage sitting in the driveway and went to the airport without it. Josh absolutely went above and beyond to get it across the country to me by the next day. I am forever grateful. His communication throughout the whole process was great! I cannot recommend this place enough.

Perfect getaway on the Susquehanna

The Riverhouse was the perfect place for my solo getaway to take in all of what the area has to offer. There was much to enjoy on the property including the hot tub, huge deck, modern bathroom and kitchen with just about everything you can imagine, enormous TV in the family room, and convenient off-street parking. The views of the river were awe-inspiring and he sunsets are truly amazing. Josh was very responsive via both text and phone when needed. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a relaxing escape.

Unbelievable Home

The location was perfect, quiet, awesome views of the river from the wall of windows to the deck. This place is stocked with everything you need from cooking, plenty of towels to all the extras. Very well thought out decor, hosts know what they are doing. If you are looking for a great couples getaway or family this is your spot. Now let’s talk about the host Josh. Wow this guy is on point. Very responsive to all text or calls. I think I even may have asked too many but never skipped a beat. I will definitely be back and recommend this place to others. Thank you Josh.
