The door handle on a sliding glass door was broken. There were several water stains in the ceiling. The front door lock was very difficult to use. Once it stated the bolt was stuck. there were tarps hanging in the front yard and back side of screen.

The house was very nasty and the pool was dirty we only had the one bathroom that worked bed sheets not cleaned pool items where torn up unable to look doors/unable to open doors from door you had to lift up on the handle to close the door holes in the roof exposed air ducts for anyone looking to rent this property dont they are scammers and they dont respond to anything in a timerly maner and they are very rude it most definitely was a awful trip for my girls competition weekend

The inside was amazing. Beds were super comfy. Well stocked kitchen but could use a mixing bowl or 2. The ceiling plaster fell in clumps in a few places but other than that it was nice. The pool area could use a good cleaning.

Nice house. Excellent location for our needs. Twin beds were not very comfortable but the King and Queen were. There was a small leak in the ceiling while we were there that was reported to the host.

Worth a stay

Outside impression was a little iffy, the yard was in need of mowing and the bushes a little overgrown. They did mow and trim the bushes so it looked better. The inside was really nice and clean, aside from the tiny piss ants. The other thing was the blue tarps hanging halfway on the roof and hanging in the back by the pool. WE would definitely stay there again.

Never Again

Pool dirty had not been clean - checked in on Monday let the owner know how dirty it was. No one came till Thursday and I was checking out Friday. Never got to use the pool. Stains on ceilings- vents dirty - tarps on the roof. Looked like an abandoned house. Landscaping horrible-overgrown, trash barrel over flowing and full. Musty smell had to buy and light candles to mask it. So disappointed

Could use some TLC/cleaning

We were in town for spring training so our location was wonderful. The kids loved having a pool and were good sports even though it was freezing cold. The master bathroom was a great selling point for us. We noticed there was no fan in the bathrooms so it got steamed up really fast and also has resulted in quite a bit of yellowing on the ceiling/walls. Made the bathroom feel kind of crusty/musty. It would also be nice if there could be a real door as well be the bifold closet door. The extra bathroom was a little crusty as well and could use some updating. The kids were scared to use it so they used the master shower. The bedding looked/felt clean which was nice. The living room felt really cozy but the couch looked/felt quite used/worn/gross. We are pretty sure that my son’s allergies were triggered by the couch. He wouldn’t sneeze all day and then at night, he would sit on the couch to do homework and he couldn’t stop sneezing. The kids also loved the window over the kitchen sink. We had lunches like a fast-food window and they absolutely loved eating out by the pool. We had a lot of fun but I would say that it could use some cleaning. When we walked in and started unpacking, it was the kids that commented on how dirty the house felt. We ended up buying some supplies ourselves and cleaned it up. Not sure the 200 cleaning fee is well spent/done. Overall, we did enjoy our stay and would consider staying again.

As expected based on other reviews

This rental met our needs for a spring training weekend. It was clean, the kitchen had what we needed, the bathrooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. And the price was right.But as other reviews stated this house has a lot of potential much of which is cosmetic. A fresh coat of paint, bedroom ceiling repairs, ceiling vent repairs and fixing the floating swimming pool light would be helpful. The landscape is underwhelming.I will say when the front door lock battery was low, the individual the owner had me contact was very responsive and a new battery was installed the next morning with no issue which was much appreciated.

Das Haus ist gross , die Terrasse bequem, die Küche ausreichend, die Lage ideal für uns ( Strand und Shoppingmöglichkeiten sind in unmittelbarer Umgebung) , alles war sauber und im Haus war alles aufgeräumt und gut vorbereitet. Für das Geld absolut okay. Jetzt zum negativen Teil: die Aussenanlage ist mega ungepflegt , es liegt überall Müll umher , die Spülmaschine ist defekt , die Poolpumpe auch . Das Bett im Masterbedroom Ist hinfällig, die Matratze völlig hin , wir haben es uns aber trotzdem gemütlich gemacht und wie gesagt : für das Geld ist das vollkommen okay und müll

Needs improvement

This property was misrepresented. The neighborhood was not great, the home was located at an intersection in the neighborhood, which proved to be a thru street for so much traffic, it felt like a commercial road each morning and evening. The windows were original single pane so you could hear all the traffic. The exterior has been poorly maintained with overgrown grass and landscaping. There were tarps hanging off the roof in several areas apparently from roof leaks that have not been addressed. The interior was fortunately nicer than the outside, however the mattresses were terrible. My wife and I both did not sleep the first night because our bodies ached so bad. We ended up spending the rest of our stay in the adjacent room’s twin beds because they were tolerable.The listing Says it is a 3/1 but showed a picture of a second bathroom with only a sink and tub, so I confirmed this with the owner and he was curt with me.When I sat on the couch, it smelled like sweat and cheese.I do not recommend this home unless some serious work and improvements occur instead of “bandaids” that make it habitable. This would be better suited as an annual rental, not a vacation rental.

Nice

The grass needed mowed. The house was clean it could use a toaster food strain and the light underneath the water in the pool was floating in the water with wires. The wires were connected though. There was some inside ceiling issues but no leaked due to hurricane. But for the price in all it was nice.

Cute house

The interior of the house was nice. The exterior of the home needs some TLC. Grass was over grown and hadn’t been mowed in awhile, brushes need trimmed back, fence was falling apart and tarps hanging off the roof. The light in the pool was completely out of its spot. House looked abandoned from the road. Curb appeal is a huge drawback. But at the same time, this wouldn’t stop us from visiting again. The location was great for visiting different beaches and the neighborhood was nice and safe.

Beautiful house

House was very clean a spacious, check in was very easy . I loved the pool my girls enjoyed the stay . The only thing that I could say we didn’t like was the tv’ on the master room and the one at the pool area doesn’t work . But other than that i would definitely stay again.

a hotel have been better

House is a good size. But upon entering there is a lingering smell our family isn’t accustomed to. It wasn’t pleasant and it was noticeable every time we came in from outside. The bedding in the master didn’t match. Games, chess and battleship were missing pieces. Shower faucet in secondary bath felt like it was about to break. Pool was frigid so my only children swam once. Neighborhood is beside a very busy intersection, and airport makes it extra loud.

Average stay

When we arrived the AC was broken. The homeowner indicated the tech would be there by 8am the next day. He didn’t arrive until 9am making us an hour late for our college tour at FGCU. The property only had one trash bag and two coffee cups and 2 forks. There were plates but not adequate utensils, plates and glassware for 6ppl. I asked the owner for help ne night stay refund and they didn’t even reply.

House needs Major TLC

When we arrived the yard had weeds and grass over grown, the garbage cans were in front of the driveway so we had to move them to pull in. We checked out 2 days early because the house was not what was expected. When we walked in everything looked nice however it was so hot, we couldn't figure out the fans because they were remotes and the one in the living room didn't work but the one for the bedroom worked the living room. The living room TV was so hard to figure out and find something to watch, there was 2 remotes but no instructions. There was no silverware or dishes in the drawers, however after looking all of them were in the dishwasher, not sure if clean or dirty or why the cleaning person would not put them away. There were dead worms on the floor and several spiders through out the house. The couch looked so comfy but was very worn and when you sat on it you sank and could see the indentions in the cushions plus it was very dirty. The master bedroom sheets were dirty, had dirt specs all over them. There was no extras sheets to be found. The master bathroom shower was the best feature of the house to have the 3 shower heads, however there was no place to hang bath towels, there was no pool towels, no hand towels, or wash clothes to use. 2 of the lights in the bathroom didn't work, the shower curtain kept falling down. In both bathrooms there was no toilet paper holders. The entire house had beat up drywall, dirty walls, chips in the paint it needed major TLC.

Good Value

Good Value for the pricing. Location worked with our situation. Restaurants and grocery stores within a couple miles in most directions. Pool Screens need some attention. Pool not heated, but didn't matter for the time of the year we were there. Living area was comfortable. Master bedroom, shower, other bedrooms were nice, clean, and comfortable. Second bath could use a little updating, but worked fine. Overall very satisfied with the property.
