This is an upstairs flat with a comfortable 1,300 sq ft layout brimming with expert craftsmanship and subtle updates. We've combined modern and vintage touches to provide a timeless, and well-thought out guest experience.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Everything we needed was provided. Everything was very clean. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again when visiting family in the area. We also liked Shortwave coffee shop, The Malt Shop and Patina store all within walking distance.

I would recommend this place to stay - it has lots of charm and a convenient layout. The bedrooms were conducive to getting good sleep, the kitchen was well stocked, laundry was available if needed and Abel was very quick to answer questions. There weren’t any towels in the bathroom set out for us but Abel told us where to find what we needed as soon as we asked.

Spectacular Home!

Easy check-in, beautifully maintained properties, all the amenities we needed and such a homey place to stay! The property was even better than the pictures show and I highly recommend! Such a convenient location with everything you want within 10-15 minute drive (airport, mall, etc.) and fabulous dining/beverages just a 3 minute walk!

Peaceful Home Base for Exploring Minneapolis

The quality of this home and its location was first rate. I felt like I was living in luxury while taking trips to parks, trails, magnificent churches, and family. Excellent food was locally available. It may have been my most enjoyable vacation ever.

Impressive!

Clean, spacious, comfortable and updated apartment in a quiet, desireable location. Host Abel very responsive and customer service focused. Love the upscale, architecturally interesting and quiet neighborhood; it is so close to restaurants, boutique shops, the iconic Minneapolis lakes and downtown. Safe and free on street parking and access to laundry a welcome bonus. The two of us spent 3 wonderful nights here and would definitely stay here again!.

Perfect Mother Daughter Stay

My adult daughter and I flew in to see family and this was the perfect home base! The property is immaculate and beautiful, exactly as pictured. The host and caretaker were attentive and accommodating to our slightly earlier arrival and very helpful. Charming house, lovely neighborhood, great shopping and restaurants. This VRBO is in a lovely residential neighborhood. Within walking distance you have a coffee shop, a malt shop, French restaurant and shopping. Not far is Lake Harriett with a walking path. Abel is very responsive to questions. I highly recommend this VRBO and look forward to my next stay in Minneapolis!

Best VRBO Ever

This beautiful property was exactly what we wanted. The home was tastefully decorated, spacious, and spotless. The neighborhood of nice early 1900 homes felt safe and the host was so welcoming. I hope we have the chance to stay again.

Beautiful place and neighborhood

The apartment was clean and spacious, very cool design and furnishings. Kitchen was well equipped (but could have used some kitchen towels). The neighborhood was beautiful.

Spacious clean 2nd floor unit in lovely neighborhood

We selected this unit on VRBO as it is within close walking distance from our daughter. Check-in process was easy, though there was some initial miscommunication. Pets are not allowed. The unit is spacious with lovely kitchen with modern appliances and big fridge/freezer. Beds were comfortable, plenty of closet space and dressers. Bathroom was small (as expected in these older homes) but nice. Easy to walk the neighborhood and only 3 blocks from beautiful walking and biking paths on Minnehaha Creek Parkway to Lake Harriet. Several caveats: The steps to the second floor were not cleaned and the recycle from the prior tenant had been missed and was still in the unit. I was initially apprehensive but the rest of the place was spotless. Do not park in the garage (though this is offered as an option) as the people in the downstairs unit park in the driveway which will block your ability to enter or exit the garage (and made check in and check out more cumbersome with luggage) unless you ask them each time to move their car. There is plenty of street parking. You need to let the faucet run for a while to get hot water, but there is adequate hot water for showers. Communications with the manager by text were easy and anything we needed (hair dryer, extra towels, etc) were quickly brought upstairs. All told, we would likely stay there again if the situation arose.

Beautiful home

Beautiful, ultra clean and comfortable home. Only thing was that the fireplace appeared usable in the photos and was non-functioning. Otherwise this place was perfect!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

I am passionate about good design, Architecture, and efficient layouts. After living in a small apartment with craftsman trim, and tons of sunlight, I realized that it was a home that was actually meant to be lived in. Not a flimsy banal structure meant check boxes for buyers and sellers.

This house is special. The previous owners completed thoughtful renovations including opening up the kitchen, matching the existing archway that seperates the living room area, from the dining room area. Each unit has an abundance of restored built-ins, and original hardware.

This is not a huge space. Although situated in the middle of a higher-end neighborhood each unit boasts 1300 or so square feet with a front and rear entrance. The layout is very intuitive, so first time guests will have no trouble knowing where they are, and knowing where everything is even after a very short introduction to the property.

Cooling is provided by Central AC, and heat is provided through several hot-water radiators. Many of these flank windows and add extra beauty and function to each space and room within the home.

I am excited to share this home with the VRBO community. Hopefully you will discover how special this home is, too.
