Peaceful acre on lake Kerr with beautiful newly remodeled Cottage with 100 ft of walk-able canal / beach right on Lake Kerr. Perfect for Kayaking/Boating on Big Lake Kerr. The location is the South East corner of the Lake, known as Los Haven "Lost Heaven" and that's because it has the best view of the sun sets on the lake.

You can bike, car or walk to the town of Salt Springs which is in the middle of the Ocala National Forest. There is also the Salt Springs marina to drop boat in to get to Lake George and the Silver Glenn Springs recreational area on lake George, or 15 minute drive there by car.

Warm your cold buns this winter and escape to the forest at this beautiful, secluded lake cabin!! Total privacy, including no contact self check-in, at this immaculate, secluded lake front home. Launch your boat (4 wheel drive required to launch!) from your private beach canal directly on Big Lake Kerr. Entertain all of your lakeside desires in the crystal clear waters of Lake Kerr. Bring your boats and your floats and your fishing poles too.

There's so much to do in and around the Ocala National Forest! A favorite is Salt Springs Run, which comes from Salt Springs. The spring flows 52 million gallons per day and is a constant 72 degrees year round. The water is beautifully clear and the bottom is white sand. If you don’t have a boat, you may rent one at Salt Springs Marina, or just swim the springs at Salt Springs Recreation Area, just 2 miles from the cabin!

You may also choose to never leave the cabin with beautiful Lake Kerr steps away from the cabin doors. Enjoy long afternoons and evenings on the expansive patio with fire pit in the front yard overlooking the lake. Commune with nature in our outdoor shower. Inside you'll find hardwood floors and granite countertops along with all the comforts of home. Enjoy your favorite shows on the new television and sleep well in the ultra comfortable bedrooms. The well equipped kitchen with the open lake views makes "kitchen duty" a pleasure.

Regular top of the line cleaning has been our moto. Rest assured, unlike a hotel or resort, this is our personal home and we take pride in our high standard of hygiene for ourselves and our guests.

Second Time Around

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this property. The first time was great. This time, apparently, there was a problem with the water pump system which we were unaware of. The water smelled horrible and there was little water pressure. Not sure we would stay again

Memorial Memories

We rented the whole place, both the 1 bedroom and the 2 bedroom. My Son was home from the Military for the weekend and had 5 of his buddies come and stay as well. We had the best time, the places are beautiful and the owner Tom is amazing to deal with. This is the 4th time we have stayed here and already have it booked for July 4th again. We made memories that will last us all forever. There is plenty of room to park your boat and just enjoy the lake, build ya a fire and have ample space to hang out and have a good time. Book this place, you will not regret it. That is if we haven't already.

Wonderful place to relax

This place is clean, location id prefect and located right under beautiful large oak trees. The property offers the best "Old Florida" experience I have found in Salt Springs. Will be booking again for sure!

Holiday Heaven Weekend

Let me say I could sit on the back porch of this property and soak in the lake views for hours. Sunset is absolutely incredible. The place is great, clean, comfortable and has all the amenities you need. The party barn is an awesome space and adds unique charm to the whole place. This is our 2nd time renting with Tom, who is beyond accommodating and a great guy. We are already looking to book again. He also has a 1 bedroom 1 bath avaliable and would be a great way to accommodate a larger family or a few couples and you could have the whole property to yourselves, both rentals and the party barn. Easy access to Lake Kerr and plenty of space to bring your boat. You will not be disappointed with a stay here!!!

I enjoy that others will be able to experience this excellent acre on Lake Kerr, if only use it as a home base. Black topped driveway for any vehicles
