Located in Salt Springs in the Ocala National Forest, this renovated 2 bedroom / 1 bath home is set on nearly a half-acre of beautiful lakefront yard. Enjoy the view from the amazing, oversized porch, relax on the hammock, or have fun roasting marshmallows in the firepit. You'll also enjoy the area's many activities such as fishing, swimming in the lake or nearby springs, hiking, or trail riding.

You are welcome to bring your boat, and there is a public boat launch nearby. However, please understand that there is not a private dock available onsite. There is a community shared dock very closely located within walking distance, but it is quite high during low water times and can be a little challenging for entering and exiting a boat. You are welcome to beach your boat at the shoreline for easier access getting in and out. We allow a maximum of two watercraft to be there. Please be respectful of the neighbors and understand that their dock and floating platform are not ours and not for guest use.

If you have a larger group, we also have a second 2 bedroom / 1 bath home that also sleeps 4 located adjacent to this one. The second house is only available when renting both houses together, so there will be no one renting it if you rent the single house in this listing. We have security cameras with sound monitoring located on the exterior of the home for the safety of our property and our guests. No smoking or vaping inside and no pets of any kind, please.

Unfortunately, due to problems we've had with large groups, we must insist that there can be no visitors over the number of people that you have on the reservation. If it is found that you have additional visitors (the neighbors call), you will be required to immediately leave the property. There are areas nearby that are better suited to large group parties such as Moorhead Park or the Salt Springs Recreation Area.
