An expansive luxury home in Palmetto Dunes, High Water 9 boasts a single-level layout with seven well-furnished bedrooms. Your private retreat boasts a private 48-foot-by-16-foot pool and hot tub, stunning lagoon views, and a recently updated interior. Highlights include contemporary décor, new travertine floors, and a spacious outdoor area with a gas grill and firepit nook.

The great room is fitted with a large smart TV, DVD player, stereo, and plush seating, while a full kitchen has all the necessities to create your favorite meals. A convenient separate pantry has a second refrigerator, a microwave, and a dishwasher, which serves as a bar area and an additional food prep space close to the grill for seamless dinner flow. All seven bedrooms offer access to an en suite bath (some shared, some private). From Memorial Day to Labor Day, Palmetto Dunes has a complimentary Beach Buggy that whisks you to and from the beach.

This property has a pool that can be heated between Labor Day and Memorial Day for an additional fee of $152/day + tax for a five-day minimum rental. Seven days advance notice is required for pool heat.

(A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

tennis tournament ladies

This home is a 5 star for a large group. We could not have asked for a better home for my tennis team. The porch was a favorite place to gather and the house provided everything we needed. Plenty of space, comfy beds, private bathrooms and parking. Everything on 1 floor was a bonus. The expansive view of the lagoon was impressive.

We went to Hilton Head to get married and wanted a house to accommodate our children and grandchildren so we could have a magical week. The backyard is what sold us and why we booked. The deck area is massive, the swimming pool is bigger than most. One of the kids even asked why the pool is so big. We filled the house with 22 guests and had plenty of room and it was stocked with everything we needing for cooking indoor or outdoor. When we arrived, there were 3 deer in the driveway. It was a magical time and we would definitely book again.

The perfect buddies golf trip

This the 2nd year in a row we have booked this home (9 Highwater) - we looked to book it again next year but our dates were not available - this is the perfect house for our group of 12-16 golf buddies - we love the single floor layout, room for everyone, an outdoor table that all of us can sit around, a beautiful view, a quiet neighborhood, an area to play cornhole, cards and a pool and hot tub to relax in and a fire pit to wind down at the end of the night.

Beautiful house and view of lagoon/ lake. Well equipped but ice maker in second refrigerator stopped working and the hot water in the kitchen never really got very hot. We did notify the property manager but remained unaddressed when we left. These were minor issues and all other communication with the PM was excellent. Also, the pool cleaner only showed up the day before we left, but the pool seemed to be clean during our stay. Could have used a few more sharp knives in the kitchen. Bottom line is we all enjoyed the house and would not hesitate to rebook if we decide to return.

The house was not very clean when we arrived the refrigerator was nasty. The windows were filthy and the hot tub was not hot at all . The back bathroom in room 7 fan fell down thankfully my grandchildren were not in there at the time. Master bedroom the tub wasn't clean I was very disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the home . Room 6 has terrible shower pressure the water does convert over properly for bath to shower.Black mold in the laundry room.

Amazing In Every Way!

The house can accommodate 20+ guest easily. Room for mingling or to be alone. The two refrigerators, gas stove, seating, the patios, pool, lake views, number of bedrooms, bathrooms, TVs, outdoor cooking… I could go on and on. But one thing is true-I’ll definitely be renting again in the very near future. GO VACASA!🥰❤️🤣

Great house for a large family gathering

15 family members and one toddler from across the country enjoyed this convenient all-on-one-level house. While not all newly renovated, the house has been refurbished enough to make it feel nice, with some new furniture and many new repairs (to the deck etc). The numerous large spaces for gathering (living room, kitchen, deck, poolside) and 1 mile walk/ bike ride to the beach was just right for our crowd. The 2 refrigerators and 2 dishwashers were helpful for our evening meals.

Perfect little getaway. Nervous of past reviews. Please ignore them as I am glad I did. House came with all needed accommodations. It was clean, spacious, hot tub, washer, dryer, dishwasher etc. worked to perfection. I will be back. Perfect getaway. Pictures do not do it justice with the space. Loved it all! Not one bad comment.

Lovely house, lovely week

Our rather big, multigenerational family stayed here all together for a week and it was a fantastic time. The house is beautiful, comfortable, offering plenty of space, and the and location is great. Hilton Head is a family favorite place to visit. Only thing that could be better is more prompt responses from the property managers - a toilet stopped working and kitchen faucet handle fell off, and eventually those items were fixed, but it took a little while. Also the check-in code was wrong, but that was quickly corrected. Overall though, we enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub, and private driveway and gorgeous neighborhood. There was also easy access to bike paths and the beach. All in all, a really nice time! Thanks very much to the owners for sharing their house with our family. We hope to be back!

Home needs updating. Pool dirty, hot tub didn’t work

Hot tub never worked. We called and emailed several times. Pool area was filthy when we arrived. Didn’t swim after day 4, pool was green and nasty. I believe we had mold inside, everyone left 2 days early because of the smell and headaches. House could be nice if it was updated and several repairs were made

2022 Stay

The home was beautiful but it needed to be cleaned better. (I understand everyone is having staffing issues.) We didn’t have hot water in 1/2 the house for the first 2 days. Didn’t have any heat in the hot tub for 4 days. (We received a small credit back.) The house is obviously used as a rental and is getting lots of wear and tear but it needs some repairs especially around the pool. It is a beautiful home and our family had a wonderful time.

Family Getaway

Due to the pandemic our initial property we were renting in Palmetto Dunes had to be moved and then the rental company was remiss in rescheduling so our children and grandchildren were very disappointed. We luckily found this property on VRBO and managed by Goode Vacations. Needless to say we were more than pleased. This property fit our total 16 family members so much better than the original property from a different group. The pool and the room layouts are well thought out and allow a large family to have more than enough room to have a great vacation. As with all large residences, some minor things needed to be taken care of during our 2 week stay. The people at Goode Vacations were so responsive and took care of everything. We will definitely come back to this residence. Thank you to the owner and the people at Good Vacations for saving our family vacation and providing an excellent property.

We stayed here for our wedding weekend and were very upset to arrive to a home that had clearly not been cleaned anytime recently prior to our arrival. Floors unswept, no hot water, toilets not working, standing water and hair in the bathtubs, cockroaches on the floor, hot tub didn’t work, black mold in the garage/laundry room, can’t even use the garage because of stored wood beams in it… the list goes on. We paid a lot for this home for our wedding weekend and I expected much more for the price. It’s a beautiful home but seriously needs some TLC. Disappointing.

Great for large families

The house itself was great for our large family vacation. Pool was really nice and overall just a beautiful area and view. There are a lot of sitting areas for everyone to enjoy and you really don’t feel the need to leave the house at all! Lots of wildlife spotted (owls, gators, deer, various other birds) Just a few things to be aware of : 1) the house is about a 15 minute drive to the main road so plan on adding that time in if you go anywhere on the island. 2) although Palmetto bugs are known to be in the area, there was an overwhelming amount outside on the deck at night. 3) hot tub did not work at all for the 7 days we were there despite contacting Vacasa daily. 4) there is black mold in the garage. We did not use the garage at all as there is no access to the house from the garage so wasn’t really an issue for our family. 5) Wi-Fi was not reliable and most of us did not get good signal there. There were a few other minor things but overall I would stay there again!

The number of bedrooms and bathrooms was adequate for our large wedding party. The kitchen space was and the extra dining space was nice. There is plenty of deck space. The backyard overlooking the water was a plus. With all of the space and beautiful scenery, we would have hoped our stay would have been relaxing and enjoyable . However, we had to call almost daily for things not working including the hot tub having cold water, the main refrigerator leaking water all over the floor, one of the doors to a guest bathroom broke off the tracks, the washing machine breaking down before finishing the cycle leaving unwashed clothes and a tub of water that wouldn’t drain, the internet stopped working after being there for about 3 hours, large roaches in bedrooms and crawling on the dining room ceiling, and mold in 2 rooms. The vacasa representatives were very friendly and apologetic with every phone call we made to them. The did send people out to fix the repairs, but the disruption to our vacation was very disappointing.

Easy space

Plenty of space for a group of 14 (from 3 years old to 80). Fun fishing in the lagoon for the kids and bike rentals helped get older kids around. Beautiful beach about 15 minute walk away (had a detour due to a bridge being out). Great place to visit in the fall- imagine it can get quite crowded in the summer.

VRBO rental

The house was nice but in need of a lot of TLC, There were cockroaches in the house, there was a lot of dust in every room, the hot tub switch was very difficult to find, the kitchen faucet was missing the set screw so the handle kept falling off, also the blinds covering the patio door in the master suite were broken , also found a hole in the eve’s which is allowing critters to get into the attic which we heard a few times during our stay. I called local management and they said maintenance would show up to resolve the issues and they never called or showed up at the house which was very disappointing,The overall stay was nice but for the money we paid I would think the house would be in better condition.

Let me begin with the dead cockroach, the broken kitchen faucet, the dust on the vents, broken outdoor lights, stopped up sink, huge amount of mold on laundry room ceiling.
