Welcome to our newly remodeled dog-friendly cabin, featuring all new furniture. Your dog(s) will enjoy the spacious, fully enclosed dog run. We are nestled in a quiet neighborhood, 10 minutes to the lake & casinos. The cabin is within walking distance to national forest which offers endless trail heads. Additional nearby activities include: mountain biking, snow shoeing, sledding, skiing, & snow boarding. Return to the cabin for a relaxing steam shower & a fireside beverage. Wonderful Place

I travel to Tahoe monthly and this was possibly my favorite rental. Very clean, all new appliances, great kitchen for cooking, and a great location. Out away from the main part of town but still close enough to run in and get whatever you need.

Great spot, quiet location and comfortable

This was a fun and relaxing stay. Property was very clean and updated. Have stayed in quite a fee rentals and this one does stand out on the cleanliness side. Owner was very communicative to answer questions. Definitely recommend staying. Was about 15min drive to Sierra At Tahoe, and only a couple of minutes away from the Y area in south lake.

Comfortable Cabin

Comfortable cabin for a family of 5 (2 kids under 3 and a laid back 11 year old black lab). We had a great time playing games and enjoying the outdoor space. Plenty of towels. Spices and a few essentials in the kitchen to keep us in business.

Clean, cozy & close to everything. Bring your dog!

This property was awesome. It was just me and my husband, we were in Tahoe for a concert and wanted to be near our friend's cabin. This place was perfect. There is plenty of room for kids (or another couple) and a dog or two. This place is very dog-friendly! The owner was easy to communicate with, he even checked to make sure we made it safely. We will definitely stay here again if we get the chance!

Everything you need packed in a Perfectly sized package

Location! Amenities! Comfort! We loved our stay here. It had everything we needed. Only a short 15-20 min drive to south lake 10 to the closest snow park. The cabin is comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet. Big plus is that a well behaved dog can enjoy it with you too. Would stay here again.

Perfect Cabin for your next vacation!

From the very beginning, Danny was very communicative. His cabin was extremely nicely remodeled, with all the amenities we could use. It was just the two of us and our small 25lb doggo, and the setup was perfect. Could accommodate many more guests. It was close enough to town, but far enough away for some peace and quiet. Definitely would love to come back and book again for our next trip!

Excellent Stay

Property was exactly as listed. Everything was clean, and home was extremely well stocked with kitchen utensils and little things like aluminum foil, salt & pepper, olive oil, shampoo & conditioner, and other useful items that you don't necessarily bring with you when renting a home but that not all VRBO's have. Danny was also very attentive, contacting us as we checked in to make sure everything went smoothly. And, our dog Cody loved the home and yard with dog run!

July 2022 stay on North Upper Truckee

Overall, good stay at the property managed by Danny. He was a responsive host who communicated well. Although the keyless lock had issues and did not work, he communicated this to us prior to our arrival so there was no surprises. Refrigerator had a water leak issue. Overall a good stay and good host. Good proximity to the lake (20 min drive)

Perfect for four adults and two dogs

We had a wonderful stay at Camp Kiowa. The cabin was just right for our party of four adults and two Golden Retrievers, and we stayed for 5 nights in total. The thing we noticed about the cabin throughout our stay was how thoughtful and quality everything was. The couch and armchair were luxurious, the kitchen was beautiful and spacious, the bathroom was modern and had very good water pressure, the mattresses were very comfortable. The dog run was completely fenced in so our pups could roam in peace. Danny was also very nice and responsive to any questions we had before and during our stay. We are very grateful for his hospitality, and if possible we would definitely choose to stay at his cabin again.

Loved It!

This cabin experience was great! We stayed with 3 kids (ages 4,7,11) and two big dogs. This is the most dog friendly cabin we’ve ever rented. There is a large fenced dog run/yard which allowed for my pups to play and run around in the snow. There were dog towels and bowls at the ready in the laundry room. There was also an xxl large dog crate and bed which we used. So convenient! The kids loved the bunk beds. There were board games to play. The TV was cool and had hbo and Netflix. Internet worked great. We all enjoyed winding down with shows. Everything was well organized and easy to use. Kitchen had everything I needed to cook meals and to make coffee and cocoa. Bathroom had a nice shower. There was a hair dryer and plenty of shampoo conditioner and soap. Location was great. Plenty of space outdoors for the kiddos to run around. A short drive to South Lake Tahoe for shopping and outings. The cabin had extra blankets, which is always nice. Danny was helpful and responsive. Thank you Danny!

Pawfect Tahoe Stay

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our mini Tahoe vacation for me, my partner, and our fur baby. Camp Kiowa is tastefully renovated and CLEAN! The kitchen was perfect for the nights we wanted to stay in and cook. Danny was excellent with staying in touch and making sure we were doing well and staying safe through the snow storm. We cannot wait to come back to Camp Kiowa for our next Tahoe adventure.

Great place in Tahoe area

This is a lovely small house in the Tahoe area. It has fast wifi, a well-stocked kitchen, and an enclosed backyard area for pets to run around. It's been recently remodeled and has good lighting all around the place. It's a good location that's a short walk from various nature trails.

Great stay!

Danny's place was wonderful. It's far enough away from downtown to avoid the traffic, but still close to everything! The property is recently renovated and you can tell that they put a lot of thought into the details. Danny is very responsive, check in and out were a breeze :)

Quiet and Relaxing Retreat

Excellent communication, far enough away to experience peace but close enough to quickly get to anything you might need (shopping, restaurants, etc). Property is very nice, very clean and extremely comfortable. Great outdoor space as well. Thank you!!!
