To address the complaints: There is no elevator in the townhome. This is very clear from the listing. I'm sorry that the two flights of stairs were not "luxury." Again, the listing/photos clearly shows there is a kitchen counter that has 4 stools and an outdoor table that fits 6 people. We also have a fold out table stored in the garage in case you want to have a family dinner inside for 5-6. We've been renting our place out for 3 years and have never once had a guest refer to the sound as smelling pungent. The view and sunsets are simply incredible. As far as the dryer complaint, that one seems valid and we are addressing it promptly. If you had told us about it during your stay, we would have sent the maintenance guy out that day to clear out the vent. Unfortunately, you decided to leave all your complaints for check out in order to try to get a refund. This is the first guest I've had to give a bad rating to in my 3 years of renting on VRBO and Airbnb (4.93 rating). They caused damage to the HVAC unit by keeping the A/C on 65 degrees and leaving the doors open, and then wanted a refund for the A/C being down for 4 hours while it was being fixed. Meanwhile they would send my property manager and me both emails, calls, and VRBO messages about the same issue, which was extremely obnoxious since we both respond quickly. If you are a property manager, don't rent to this guest, there is a reason they have 0 positive reviews after 17 years renting on the island.
