Uno de los condominios de playa más populares orientados a la familia de la zona. Las comodidades incluyen 270 'directamente en el Golfo de México. Baños junto a la playa, gran área de solárium frente al golfo en el nivel superior (también hay muchas áreas sombreadas para salir del sol), mesas de picnic, complejo cerrado con guardias de seguridad, estacionamiento cubierto, dos ascensores, cocina grande, lavadora y secadora. Los pasillos están cerrados perfectos para clima húmedo. Hay 3 piscinas grandes y una piscina para niños pequeños. Durante los meses de invierno, una de las piscinas al aire libre se calienta.

Esta unidad está en el lado oeste con una gran vista de la playa y las puestas de sol de la tarde. Recién pintado y lindo como un botón esperando a su familia e invitados. Este complejo tiene solo 3 pisos de altura, no es un edificio alto. Ahora tenemos WiFi para su conveniencia.

Great get away

We stayed here with my kids, mom and mother in law and it was a great condo for all of us! We also loved that it was right next to the stairs so we didn’t have to wait forever for the elevator!

The shower in the master bath is so small that I could move around very well, Condo was not stocked with toilet paper or paper towels - very easy access to the beach.

Beach Vacation

Love the location and options of 4 pools with direct beach access. Shower in main bathroom still does not work. Stayed in this same unit 5 years ago and the shower did not work then. We will definitely stay at this complex again however will book a different unit.

Not what we expected

Property seemed as if it had not been deep cleaned in a while. Bath towels need replacing. Sheets were clean, but comforters need washing. Property was not what we expected for the money we paid but was ok for the one night we stayed. Would not stay again

Nice unit-

Our actual unit was great, our only issue was with the south elevator not working at all times, this was the closest one to our room so it was a bit annoying only having 1 elevator everyone was waiting on. There is construction happening on the lot next door which we enjoyed watching, unfortunately once completed I believe it'll block the view from the balcony. The pools are great, especially the kiddie pool, and the Snack Shack is a great place to grab an easy snack or drink (they only accept cash). Overall we would stay here again, its a great location.

Great Place

This was our first time coming to Orange Beach. This condo at Sugar Beach is conveniently located. It is close to all the shopping you will need to do. The boardwalk out to the beach was a nice extra that I had not expected and the pools were big enough. The kids enjoyed the snack bar located on the property. The property was clean and well maintained. The owner did answer any question I had in a timely manner when I emailed them. This is great bargain for the area and we would definitely use this condo again. The two things that keep this condo from getting 5 stars are the master bath shower is very small and it would be nice if the owners would upgrade the tvs in the bedrooms to flat screens. SUGAR BEACH CONDO

Check in smooth, beach access was good. The condo was super outdated. The beds were uncomfortable with cheap mattress. The extra pillows were old and stained. Wasn't clean. Plugs were broken. The pictures were manipulated. The so called corner view on balcony you had to lean over railing to see it. Very disappointed!

Overall Stay

Overall, the property is a little outdated, particularly the external area including the garage and elevator. However, the property manger was great. He responded quickly to messages and was very helpful. The shower is very small, which made showering kind of difficult. I’d have to turn the water off to lather my body, then turn it back on to rinse the body wash off. This is because the shower is so compact, and there is no room to maneuver. Other than that, my kids ages 26, 24, 12, and 1 (grand baby) had a great time. They enjoyed the pools. The beach water was full of algae, so we were only on the beach for about 20 minutes.

Sugar Beach Condo 2022

Nice, but very small! Bathroom toilets were for small children!! Very hard for older adults to even get up from these toilets!! Needs to be upgraded with newer furniture and toilets!! Vacuum cleaner was broken, but still in the closet! Needs to be replaced! Drier vent was full of lint before our first use, very dirty above drier and refrigerator. Dish washer was still full of clean dishes! The bedroom with twin beds had a closet, but could not be used because one of the beds blocked the entry! Overall, we made it okay!! Had a great time!!

Family time

Check in was easy. Condo was older. Electric sockets were coming out of wall and we could not use. Ice box was cool but not extremely cold. Elevator broke and had to use a further one and then it broke. My mom is 83 and can’t walk any distance and can not climb stairs. She was stuck in condo for 1 1/2 days. We had to split time staying with her so couldn’t utilize our family time. Got water did not last for everyone to bathe. Patio furniture was rusted. Springs were sticking up in one of the beds. Condo was clean with exception floors. Our feet were black. For pricing of 3 nights it definitely wasn’t worth it. Will not return.

Sugarbeach Condo Vaca

The property was clean and definitely old. The construction was loud but tolerable. Of course, the view was horrible. There is an electrical outlet in the twin bed room behind the nightstand that has no cover. Plus, one of the outlets has a prong still in it. That is a huge safety issue. The glass table wobbles so we had to put magazines under it. And I love the granite countertops and the refrigerator. Easy access to the beach and Gulf state park. Garbage disposal had an old beer bottle cap in it that was flatten. I took that out of the garbage disposal. Towels were horrible and we had one dish towel. I wish the towels were bigger and we had more dish towels.

Margie Casey has been a realtor for 31 years and has always wanted to own beach front property. So in 2005 she purchased a Sugar Beach condo. Her family has enjoyed many fun days there and want to share their condo with others. Margie and her husband have 5 grown children and 5 grandchildren.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This is a great location close to shopping and right on the beach. There is so much to do in Orange Beach. It is close to Foley and only a little over an hour from our home in Mobile. It is easy driving from almost anywhere and has the best beaches on the coast. We have grown up going to the beach every summer and now we can share our condo with others.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

There are 4 pools, one is a large kiddie pool which our 2 year old granddaughter loves to play in because it is not over her head. We have three other pools - two out on the Gulf and one of them is in the middle of the complex. A lot of folks enjoy the Sugar Shack, a snack, food and drink bar by the pools. There are also gazebos for people who want to stay out of the sun or for eating in the shade. There are also bathrooms close to the pools. Tennis courts and shuffle board are available above the parking level. Also the cars are parked in the shade on the bottom floor of the complex. Across from the condos is a seafood shop that will steam shrimp, corn and potatoes while you wait. That makes for an easy affordable meal. Of course you can buy fresh and cook yourself. There are many fine restaurants close by and you must visit the Wharf for a summer concert. There are shops, restaurants and a Farris Wheel my grandkids enjoy.
