We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. We had four adults and two teenagers and had plenty of space. Everything was as shown in the photos and the communication with the owner was virtually instantaneous. We would definitely consider this property again.

I'm very happy to see that Leonard was still able to objectively review Anchors Aweigh & give a awesome 5 STAR review for his stay. I do list & detail my Community in my VRBO listing, that all Renters would be able to see before booking. It's is detailed as being located in Calusa, a mixture of Custom Homes, Tiny Houses & RV's. Place was very clean and amazing views from roof. Debbie was very friendly and easy to deal with.
Would highly recommend this place. We hired fishing guides that lived not 25 yard from are place to take Us fishing. Very friendly and very professional and fun to be around. Place is close to alot of great restaurants and water activities. At end of day the Sunsets off top deck where amazing. House was very relaxing and nice to Unwined in after a long day of fun and sun. 😃

Relaxing escape
The house was beautiful and immaculate with a wonderful view from the top deck of the home. The owner thought of every detail and the kitchen was stocked with anything you may need for cooking. She even left coffee, K cups, and Kind bars for snacks. She was immediately available and very responsive to any questions. The beds were so comfortable! I would highly recommend! My family and I had an amazing time.

I'm not naive. I know that the Keys are a "mixed bag." However, it is highly misleading to suggest that there are "Amazing Views" from this home. (Are they referring to the electric transformer on the telephone pole immediately adjacent to the property?) The property is located amongst closely packed travel trailers in the tackiest setting in which I have ever set foot. It is an astonishing dichotomy of factors. The interior of the home is beautiful, well appointed, and extraordinarily clean, but it exists in a shanty town accessible only via a trash-strewn road. Please refer to the photos below to get an idea of the neighborhood in which this property is located.

Spring break with teenagers
The house is lovely. The views from the top deck are great but this house is packed in next to so many run-down RV's that are mere inches from each other that it is hard to appreciate the house. The weekend was so rowdy with a constant background of loud music. This is not a quiet place to get away. Just know that this is a party place/scene on the weekends. The pool is body-to-body with multiple loudspeakers being played. The price of this VRBO seems too high for the neighborhood that it is in. The list of what you can't do is a bit overwhelming too. I would not stay here again.

Sunset and chilling
The location for this house is indeed in a trailer park. There are a few other homes built in the neighborhood. We were there Thur-Monday , in mid May, and there was no excess noise. Mostly families in the nearby trailers. The pool was uncrowded.
The beds were comfortable, with the king and the queen both had the ability to lift the head up. The bathrooms were well stocked and clean. The kitchen was also well stocked with just about everything you could want. No one wanted to sit on the white sofa from fear of leaving any sort of stain.
Roof top sofa and lounge chairs made every sunset just spectacular.
Debbie does need your drivers licenses (everyone's) and does send out multiple emails with all sort of rules. And overall she was easy and responsive .

Mom's weekend trip
The property was beautiful, and we really enjoyed the location. I will say that we felt a little micro-managed by the owner of the property. We received SEVERAL messages regarding things we should NOT do and messages threatening litigation and fees if we did not strictly follow all rules. While I understand that rules/regulations are necessary, it seemed excessive to be receiving all of these emails prior to check-in and before our vacation even began. It made us feel anxious before we ever even arrived and certainly anxious throughout our stay. We felt nervous to use the space and never felt like we could just be comfortable.
This home is beautiful and it was very well stocked with all the things we needed, I will say that. I think that had we not been bombarded with so many "DON'TS", we would definitely stay here again.

Pretty but poorly managed
The home is pretty, but it is packed into a trailer park with a lot of loud activity late into the night. Property manager was difficult to work with. property was well appointed, but cleaning was poor, and left us with COVID. Would not recommend, which is a first for us with VRBO.

Comfortable and Charming Home!
We stayed for 4 days and had a great time! We were two families and the house was perfect! Enjoying sunsets on the roof patio! Lazy breakfasts with all needed supplies! Very centrally located! Debbie made us the best Key Lime pie! Thank you!! The community has a pool and a great area for paddle boarding! We enjoyed our vacation in the keys and this house made it relaxing!

Best sunset views ever!
Anchors Aweigh is a beautiful house with great floor plan for all guests. The upper deck offers front row seating to the most beautiful sunsets. It felt like a private showing every night!
Host was thoughtful and ensured all my guests were comfortable. Everything you need is there and even some extras.
If you ever get the privilege of eating one of Debbie Ann's homemade Key Lime pies - you will never doubt who makes the best key lime pie in the KEYS. Truly the best!!

Beautiful views, convenient location, clean and lovely home
We spent 3 nights at Anchors Aweigh and had a lovely time! We arrived to find the home very clean with lots of coffee options awaiting us, and even a key lime pie in the fridge! My kids adored the bunk room, and the view from the rooftop deck is beautiful. Very convenient location in Key Largo to restaurants and the grocery store. As described in the listing, the house is on a campground property which we found to be quiet and friendly. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Noisy, crowded location.
I checked in to find dog hair on the floor and sofa. Contacted owner and provided her with photos. The owner offered to send in a cleaning crew. We declined the cleaning crew. I wanted a nice quiet vacation but didn't want the owner to think we had a pet. Offered the owner the opportunity to stop by for a visit at any time. The first night (Thursday) was quiet. Friday night was almost an all-night outdoors party. We did not contact security. Very busy location, and from the looks of the activities, no one else cared to sleep, so we stayed awake too. Contacted owner who said I should have called her at 2 am. Biggest complaint is my wife and I both started itching on our backs and chest areas. Contact owner about any chemical used for Covid or cleaning. After six nights, finally went to a clinic. Doctor said we had body bites consistent with bed bugs or microscopic scabies. Either way, he recommended a cleaning process which we didn’t want to hang around to deal with. Contacted owner who brought an exterminator company a few hours later while we were packing to leave three days early. Pest control was nice but owner was very rude. She offered no compensation and acted like we were the problem. She kept telling the pest control man he worked for Her and to not talk to us. He did say scabies a microscopic and he would not be able to detect. We left to go home and now received a notice owner filed for damages on our part. Thank goodness for photos. I would not say at this location or any other owned by Debbie Ann. You will be thankful you listened to me. I have stayed a many vrbo homes with excellent reviews for me and the homes we have stayed.

Beautiful home with a beautiful view
This remodeled home is beautifully done. We stayed for a week and there was plenty of room for our 2 teenaged kids plus enought privacy for me and my husband. The home is very well stocked with everything you need. And the roof top deck is HUGE. Drank coffee out there every morning and drank wine there every sunset. Debbie was super communicative and made sure we had everthing we needed for a great stay.

Beautiful home with fantastic water views
This home is beautiful and it felt brand new. The beds were comfortable, with high end linens and plush towels. The host of this property has thought of everything! There was tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, as well as shampoo, conditioner, and soap. There was even a delicious key lime pie waiting when we arrived! The veiws from the decks were amazing and we watched the sun set most nights. The community has a great tiki hut with delicious Cuban food, which we frequented. Water sports and fishing was just a few minutes away, so great location. Our host checked in with us regularly and provided information and advice whenever requested and was amazing. Great vacation spot for your family!

Beautiful Buttonwood Sound Bayfront with amazing Water Views, Amazing Sunsets, Bay Breezes, Sailboats n Seagulls.
My unit is not waterfront! VRBO has it falsely titled as waterfront, I have tried to have them remove the waterfront from my listing for months. My community is waterfront and on the bay. My unit still has amazing bay, water & sunset reviews.
This beatuiful Vacation Rental Unit is close to all activities, restaurants and anything else you might want to do or enjoy while on Vacation in the beautiful Florida Keys.
