Chic beach house tucked in wooded rolling dunes--only 200 steps from the front porch to Roadside Park on Lake Michigan! Walk directly across scenic Blue Star Highway and dip your toes into the surf at a local favorite, pet-friendly beach park. Enjoy easy access to the beach via a sloping, natural dune pathway. Walk for miles along the unobstructed sandy shoreline, relax at the beach, or perch high upon a dune to take in the awesome sunsets.

Walk home along a lake path with underground lighting to more than 3,300 square feet of finely crafted lake home, perfect for large gatherings. This beach house, located in Southwestern Michigan, has 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathroom and sleeps up to 16 people. Plenty of PARKING for you and your guests, including access to one stall of the attached garage. PETS welcome. High-speed WiFi available for gaming, staying in touch, or work-friendly space.

Upscale, inviting accommodations include a stainless steel, fully equipped kitchen with granite counter-tops which opens to great entertaining space. The living room features a gas fireplace, television and speakers, and two sets of French sliding glass doors overlooking the wood deck that spans the rear of the house. A firepit (Solo stove), grill and outdoor seating are available.

The house has a nicely finished lower level, perfect to extend entertainment space, with full-sized daylight windows, bedroom, full bathroom, dry bar area, fireplace and large-screen tv. A walkout door leads out to steps to the upper deck or walk around to the house.

The outside has mature trees offering privacy & shade; large covered front porch that wraps around to the extra-large back deck overlooking woods & dunes. Listen to the Lake Michigan waves while reclining in the white wicker rocking chair on the front porch. Includes an outside shower (hot / cold water) and a deluxe NINE-FOOT hot tub in the rear!

A gravel path leads under a trellis and alongside the house to a beautifully landscaped space. Renew your vows in a small backyard ceremony or this is a great space for a photo op with family, wedding party. Use your imagination!

Ready to retire for the night? An impressive two-story vaulted stairway winds upwards to three bedrooms with queen-sized beds and two full baths. The Master bedroom is serene and spacious with a Jacuzzi tub.

BONUS room: a full laundry room connects the kitchen to the garage and a second stairway up to a large bonus room that sleeps four.

We are a three minute drive to Hagar Park beach and only 10 miles from Jean Klock Park beach, 12 miles from Silver beach and Lions Park beach, 10.4 miles from Van Burien State Park, 17 miles from South Haven beach, 33 miles to Saugatuck, and much more. A delightful & peaceful lifestyle, this is a great location close to everything you need for your vacation, such as local cafes, wine tasting, breweries, shops, dining, theatre, entertainment, jet skiing, sailing, charter boats, fishing, sunset cruise, biking, hiking, kids museum, art & music festivals, wineries, breweries, and festivals of all kinds, including: Blueberry/Venetian/Harbor/Iron Man/Peach and Ice Festivals. There are so many beaches nearby and feels a world away! New Harbor Shores Golf Course, Michigan Hills and other great golf courses all within short miles away.

Guests will have the entire house.

Quiet and tranquil neighborhood across M-63 from Roadside Park.

Easy on / off access to I-196, between Exit 7 and 13, or follow M-63 / Blue Star Highway.

Ten miles from Saint Joseph, MI (Silver Beach) and 15 miles from South Haven beaches. 30 minutes to Saugatuck. All beach towns offering unique shops, restaurants, great beaches and parks, boat rentals and more.

10 - 15 minute travel time to many local wineries and wedding venues: 12 Corners Vineyard, Blue Dress Barn, Vineyard 2121, etc.

We have parking for approx. six vehicles. No RVs or campers.

Parking in one side of attached garage is permitted; the other portion is for host storage of household supplies.

There is no public transportation near by.

The front of the house has 2 cameras to monitor the driveway. There are no cameras in other part of the house.
Pet fees: $50 per pet for the entire stay, no more than two pets. Keep pet off our furniture. Let the owner know you are bringing pet prior to check in.
There is no door at the steps to go downstairs to the basement. we removed the door to prevent a fall hazard as the door swings open over the stairs. If you are traveling with young children, you may want to bring a hallway safety gate.
