Tucked into the Stanislaus National Forest and miles away from town, this cozy two-bedroom cottage is just what you've been hoping to find for your next Yosemite vacation! Let the charming, rustic interior carry you off into warm vacation bliss when you pluck a book from the shelf to read on the comfy living area sofa. The living space boasts attractive tile floors and access to the front patio, where you'll find a spacious, grassy yard to enjoy the beautiful views. There's plenty of space for the little ones to romp around, plus a picnic table for alfresco meals. Challenge someone to a round of board games at the dining table, then clear everything away to serve a delicious meal prepared in the full kitchen - you'll have everything you need to cook something extraordinary during your stay.

This cottage is within walking distance of the Tuolumne River, where you can enjoy swimming and fishing in the fresh mountain air. Shortly up the highway is the northern entrance to Yosemite National Park, along with Rush Creek Lodge, Evergreen Lodge, and Hetch Hetchy Reservoir. The town of Groveland is 17 miles down the highway, where you will find a full grocery store, restaurants, a championship golf course, and many other activities. Yosemite Mountain Cottage is the perfect home base for your next mountain adventure!

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises.
Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
This cottage does not have AC.
Cell phone service does not work well around this property due to its remote nature. The WiFi is consistent once you are in or near the cottage.
Due to the homeowner's severe dog allergies, no dogs/pets are allowed in this cabin unless the animal is certified through the ADA. Please be transparent when booking if you are bringing a service animal, so that we can properly clean after departure.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
