Our new pool home is Vacation ready for you and your family to resort and unwind in Desirable Destination Pelican area Cape Coral. Be near the beautiful resort of the Westin Hotel where boats are docked and restaurants are awaiting. Happy hours, sunsets, beaches, bars , Golf, restaurants are among the boating docks & the 8 lakes community. The home is located 17 miles from RSW or Punta Gorda airport. The home is 15 minutes to down town Fort Myers where new and trendy hotels and restaurants are buzzing. We just finished furnishings this home with our family and friends in mind. We are featuring a brand new pool and a wonderful family living space with a bar! It sleeps 10 and has a table for 8 with additional seating at the bar and cocktail club chairs. The vibe is chic, midcentury modern with some beach a little old and much new hoping to provide family fun in Florida. Join us!

After having a bad experience with another host, we cannot say enough about our recent visit.The house was absolutely immaculate and had everything you could want.The hosts were very attentive and responsive.Definitely a great decision.

Beautiful & Wonderful Stay! ❤️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️

My teenagers and I had a wonderful time at this VRBO!! You won’t regret it! The owners were extremely wonderful and kind to work with and they were very prompt on answering questions! It was easy to find this place and easy to get in with a code that is provided an hour before check-in time. The house is beautifully decorated and very clean. The heated pool and lounge chairs we used everyday, sometimes at night since they have lights to turn on by the pool area. Very inviting area! The kitchen was well supplied and the owners allowed us to use their beach chairs and beach towels (we asked) when we spent time at Fort Meyers Beach and Sanibel Lighthouse collecting shells. This house in Cape Coral is within an easy driving distance to many places. Also, we ate at some great restaurants in Cape Coral: Iguana Mia for Mexican and then The Boathouse Tiki Bar & Grill while watching a beautiful sunset on the beach right there. In Fort Meyers we ate at Snug Harbor which had awesome seafood & tropical drinks plus we watched dolphins playing in the harbor right by us!! It was a fabulous vacation with the help of the owners! Thanks a million!! We hope to be back very soon!!! 😎TD

Nice location, great pool area

Nice house in a great quiet area. Easy drive to many restaurants and activities. Pool was prefect temperature with lots of lounging area. Hosts were very helpful and attentive.

Family Vacation

Our family throughly enjoyed staying at Desirible Destination. The host’s were amazing and so responsive to anything we needed. The neighborhood and surrounding area is just beautiful. The house with heated pool and beautiful lani is where we spent most of our time. We were able to take a tiki Poontoon tour from the docks by the Westin Hotel, which is about 1 mile away. Dinners at the Westin hotel were great as well as the ice cream shop, Red Sox ball field was 30 minutes away, where the kids were able to get some autographs. Sands Park located 1.8 miles from the house has a beautiful playground, walking park, pickle ball, tennis and basketball courts.Even a small golf putting green. The best restaurants as well as an Italian bakery and sandwich store, Amore is dangerously close by, Just a perfect location for a family getaway. Would definitely come back and highly recommend it. Also visited sea hawks park, which is a small airstrip for flying model airplanes in Cape Coral. So much to do in this area. Thank you again Rich and Deb for sharing your beautiful home. Perfect location for Relaxing Vacation

The owner was very responsive to any questions from the time of booking and throughout the entire stay. House was well equipped with everything needed during our stay. Including items for our granddaughter. The only feedback I have is that the VRBO listing states Hot Tub under the popular amenities section of the listing. This is not accurate and there is not a hot tub. It should be updated because it is misleading. The Pool Spa section states whirlpool spa which I believed to be a hot tub. Perhaps this could be updated to say not heated for clarity. It was very disappointing upon check in that this was not the case. Had I known this at the time of booking I would have selected another property as this was a top amenity that we sought out. The pool was nice, but did not make up for not having a hot tub. I would recommend this property, but just note that there is not a hot tub.

Sisters’ Getaway

This property is spacious and really met our needs. The owners were very responsive and concerned about making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. In spite of cooler weather, the pool was warm and outdoor area well equipped. Check out was very easy. Would suggest an additional lamp in the living room for more lighting and adding a binder w list of instructions for household use and maybe restaurants and other items of interest in the area.

Fantastic Pool and Home In Great Location

My husband and I selected this perfect vacation rental to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The communication with Deb was super fast and easy. I had numerous questions and she quickly and cheerfully answered them all. She even made suggestions of places to visit. The home is absolutely spotless, squeeky clean. I think everything you could ask for was found in the kitchen. Admittedly, the pool was one of the primary reasons why we selected this home, and it did not disappoint! It is MUCH larger than it appears in the photos. It's calm, quiet and serene, just what we were looking for! It was so easy to walk from the pool area, straight to the master bathroom slider and straight into the shower. I've never experienced this before and absolutely loved this home feature. The vaulted ceilings in the main living areas were beautiful. This area was very spacious and decorated with nice furnishings to accommodate a large group. As far as location, it was super convenient to everything we wanted to visit, but not too close, keeping it peaceful and enjoyable. Honestly, I cannot thank Deb and her husband enough for allowing us to spend the week in this beautiful home. The hospitality extended to us was amazing and we will always remember this anniversary trip!

Birthday get away

House works great for a larger group. Owners have created several great gathering spaces, including a beautiful salt water pool with water loungers noodles etc. there is a lovely bar that we gathered in front of and a cozy seating area with fireplace. Owner was very communicative. Kitchen has all the things you need to cook as if you were home.

Just what we needed.

This is a very nice property in a great location. Very close to grocery store, restaurants, and attractions. Deb and Rich are wonderful, attentive hosts and responded very quickly regarding our minor concerns with figuring out the TV and getting the pool heater repaired. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful pool

Wonderful Family vacation

This house is beautiful and clean!! I loved the hospitality. Mr. Rich and his wife were very nice and sweet. This place is perfect for a family and the neighborhood is very peaceful. I would definitely book again. My family and I really enjoyed ourselves! I highly recommend this place, it’s worth it😁

The perfect family get-away

This was an amazing home with a beautiful outdoor area. There was plenty of room to spread out when needed and to gather as well. We enjoyed every minute. The property owner is extremely helpful and accommodating—even suggesting places to go and fun places to eat. We loved it so much that we are already planning our next visit. This was the perfect location for all of us to reconnect. It is not easy to find a place that appeals to every member of our family of six, but this place has 5 stars from all of us!

We just bought this home to furnish it with love and build a pool with friends and family in mind. The area in Cape coral is so beautiful and conveniently located for vacationing in Fort Myers, Bonita, Naples and the Cape to name a few. We shared our other home named the Holiday House with 5 star reviews since 2015 and now we offer the Desirable Destination to share with others when our grown son's and their families aren't visiting .
Please join us and stay in our uniquely modest home and enjoy all that Florida offers. We are located here in SW Florida and will be sure to assist you with any of your vacation needs. This home is fully equipped to host your family as we host our own family here as well. Come and share our little slice of heaven on the cape in exclusive Pelican Lake area.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This property had it's charm and we fell in love with the family area it provided. The fire place was from the 60's and we went with the feeling it gave us......We set up many seats to gather around the bar, the table, the living room and out to the lanai with sliders for ease of entertaining. 4 full bedrooms to sleep 8 and the ability to flex to 10 if needing to. My family keeps growing and we needed a place for our kids to come and visit us so please share in our joyful home and enjoy your family desirable destination.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

2 pools - The smaller pool is original and we hated to remove it so we just built a bigger pool! The home bar helps to keep those adult children entertained and feeling like there is no need to go any place else although down town Fort Myers is and Cape coral offering the best outdoor bars and restaurants ! We hope you will find the best bar and restaurant to be right here at this home. Come and enjoy it!
