The property decking was rotten at places and dangerous. Railing at stairs were broken and falling apart. I fell due to no leaf removal. Washer broken on arrival, blind broken next to fireplace. Cobwebs throughout property. Not impressed with property at all. Also, Bernard’s landing had a card inside to rent from them directly for 30% discount which is a problem for VRBO. I have been using VRBO for years and never this dissatisfied with a property. Definitely not impressed

The lake view is amazing. We spent a lot of time sitting on the patio just watching boats go by. Very relaxing. We visited the indoor pool and spa and thoroughly enjoyed it. Just a two-minute walk to the restaurant.

Very comfortable condo, beautiful setting. My husband and I stayed 4 nights for a wedding anniversary getaway. SML is our favorite place to relax! We swam in the pool, rented a boat right on property, enjoyed breakfast and lunches on the patio table, took advantage of dinner and live music at marinas and nearby restaurants, and refreshing walks around the resort. The condo could use a little TLC, and being one level down from the parking area requires the use of steep stairs. The property was clean and convenient, and the king bed was great. We notified the owner/manager of one issue and he responded very quickly. It's a great place for a quiet, friendly, relaxing stay.

Check in was very easy. We didn't do any cooking but the kitchen was well stocked. Overall everything was very nice. It was clean and very comfortable. Two suggestions- a mat for the tub and blinds for dining area door. I am a senior and it was difficult getting down to the dock. The condo itself was very nice and quiet.

Nice View

The condo is nice and it's in a good location. There were two or three lightbulbs that were burned out; but none that were a deal breaker. I had some trouble with the TV remote; but the owner sent good, detailed instructions that took care of the problem. The unit was not dirty; but, it was not as clean as some others that I've stayed in.

Lack of Pride in Ownership

This property is probably the worst we have stayed at over the past 11 years at SML. Kitchen faucet controls are reversed, baseboards are filthy, no closet door in bedroom, mattress needs replaced, floor border around fireplace hearth needs repaired/replaced (trip hazard), stove top chipped, broken refrigerator handle, bathroom window frame and vanity cabinet need cleaned, all walls/door frames/window areas need cleaned, light out in bathroom, no way to turn off one table lamp in living room, light out over breakfast bar, bathroom fan delays when turning on (is there a fire hazard here), no bath towel bars in the bathroom - only two cheap towel rings and a hook on the back of the door, instructions for the TV were less then helpful. The rug in the bathroom was not clean. Add that to no bath mat towel, we were a bit grossed out. There was a pungent odor outside that smelled like a dead animal rotting under the deck. We did dispose of a dead chipmunk that we found rotting on the deck. There were no cleaning supplies that we could have used to feel more comfortable with the cleanliness of the unit. This unit is very worn. The email that was sent to me stated towels for four people would be provided. There were only two bath towels, two hand towels, two wash clothes, and one "tea towel" provided. Overall, we were extremely disappointed with the accommodations of this unit and would not recommend it.

Great Views & Convenient Location!

I loved the location of this condo at Bernard’s! I could get to it without stairs and it was very accessible to my boat. The views were gorgeous from the lovely deck! The den was comfy and cute but I wasn’t inside much because the deck with the fans was so nice! Would definitely come back!

Just lovely

Can't beat the view, comfort or convenience! What a wonderful little condo - everything was perfect and I will absolutely stay again. Just a side note, this condo has the biggest (and one of the most comfortable) beds I've ever slept in!

Wonderful Condo

We enjoyed our stay at this wonderful condo! Everything was just as pictured - very nice and clean. We could not have been happier and hope to rent this same condo again next year for our annual anniversary trip to SML!

ROOMY, UPDATED CONDO

This property was much larger than most studio condos since it is a corner unit. It has a lovely wrap around patio with great views of the lake! Loved the fans on the porch too! Bed was large & comfy, and it was very clean and bright. Would LOVE to stay here again!

Beautiful lake view

We had a wonderful week, the only thing that didn’t cooperate was the weather but it didn’t stop us from getting out on the lake! We had around thirty people for a family reunion and were able to reserve the upstairs pavilion at the clubhouse for a gathering and dinner. The condo was just right and close to my other family members. Living the lake life was perfect.

Winter get away

Decent. Older, functional, well kept. As a getaway, winter would be best unless you like urban crowd vacationing. Nearby Napoli Restaurant excellent food, otherwise isolated. We wanted quiet walking and we got it. Nearby historical sites interesting. Nice birding. $79 come on was deceptive when you add the fees. Local construction. Bed sheet arrangement needs looked at, fitted corner would not stay on. Enjoyed February sunning mornings on the chaises indicated on the listing photo. Overall satisfied.

Great One Bedroom Condo

Our stay at this Bernard's Landing condo was great. It was close to the things we needed access to during this trip. We only needed a reasonably priced one-bedroom condo. We got exactly what we were looking for. We highly recommend it.

Relaxing Weekend

Celebrating my friends' birthday with a weekend away from kids and chaos. This was the perfect setting. Great boardwalk to take walks on, covered porch we could still use the day it rained, beautiful views, yummy restaurant within a short walk.

Beautiful view!

Had a wonderful time here. Walked next door both nights for AMAZING and FANTASTIC meals prepared by a REAL chef!! Prime rib was best ever!! Service was impeccable. Went home and watched a HUGE flatscreen above a candle lit fireplace & drank brewed coffee as we stared at the amazing starry night over the quiet lake. Condo had everything we needed. Beautifully decorated too. Super easy check-in and out. Plus the kayaks are a super perk even tho it rained and we never got a chance to use them unfortunately. Next time tho!!!
