NEW - River Sister: Beautiful 3/2.5 home overlooking Myakka River

The space offers an open concept kitchen, dinning room and living room that is perfect for entertaining. Open the sliding glass doors that opens to extend the space into the lanai and pool area. The newly surfaced heated pool has a brand new screen enclosure to keep you bug free. Relax by the pool, do some fishing on the canal or rent a boat and venture out. Home is situated on Myakka River which leads out into the gulf on a 40 minute boat ride.
Bedroom 2 king beds with an en-suite bathroom with tub and closet as well as a door leading out into the pool area. There is a TV in this room.
Bedroom 2 has a king bed and TV. There is a full bathroom just outside of bedroom 2 with a shower.
Bedroom 3 is on the opposite side of the house and has a twin over full bunk bed. There is a half bath just outside of this bedroom.
There is a queen size pull out sofa bed in the living room.
Portable crib available upon request.

Great Getaway

We had a wonderful time! The pool was wonderful and being on the river was beautiful! The amenities of the house were excellent for a family and it was fantastic to have a heated pool - you do have to pay extra to heat the pool, but it was well worth it!Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful home

We truly enjoyed our stay. This home was exceptionally clean and NO MOLD anywhere. The beds were very comfortable. The outdoor space was great and pool was clean. Will be booking again.

Winter getaway

We had a wonderful experience in this beautiful, well appointed rental. The photos were accurate, beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed our time exploring the area and relaxing in the outdoor space. The owners were extremely responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this property!

Nice family vacation!

Very clean and nice home. Fully stocked for all your indoor and outdoor cooking needs. Nice setting on the water with pool area, in a quiet neighborhood. We slept 7 adults however that's with three in the master bedroom on a queen and a twin.

Beautiful property

The home has recently been renovated, newly furnished and provisioned. Beautiful, comfortable, clean and the owners have thought of everything. The lanai/pool area is a wonderful place to relax or share meals. The house overlooks an inlet, with great views of the Myakka River. The neighborhood is quiet and people are friendly. There's a Publix grocery about 2 miles away; and you can catch great sunsets at Manasota Key, a 20 minute drive.

Summer Fun

Beautiful home on the river; still evidence of hurricane damage but they adapted nicely. The pool cage is completely missing; photos should be updated online to reflect it more accurately. Quaint stay, beautiful views of the Myakka, close to the beach and dining as mentioned in the post.

Great getaway!

First time stay in this area. I have to say It was just what I was looking for. The tranquility and the view was breathtaking. Close to grocery stores and beaches. The home was amazing. Very clean and nicely decorated. Well equipped kitchen, everything I needed to make meals for my kids. My kids fished off the dock all weekend, they had a great time. Can't wait to have time off to come back. Definitely will be booking again, but hopefully for a longer stay. Great place to find peace and relaxation.

Easter Weekend

Overall, the house was good. We were expecting a screen enclosure as pictured, but there was not screen enclosure so the mosquitoes hindered us from spending as much time outside as we would like. The room with a bunk bed get quite hot at night. We enjoyed the weekend.

Enjoy or trip

Beautiful house with a great location. This is our first time ever renting a home. Wasn’t for sure what to expect. they provided one roll of toilet paper per bathroom and one paper towel. So we had to buy our own toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. Now, knowing this, I will be even more prepared for the next house we look to rent. We would rent this house again

Full refund- moldy house n leaky ceiling from roof

We were fully refunded by host- outside pool was not usable- add algae n water very cloudy-no ceiling filter- black mold in bathroom ceiling, shower n in vents- smelt like black mold we were sneezing and coughing while in the house. Roof leak over washer dryer area n we couldn’t use boat lift cause one of the rollers were not working properly- so we couldn’t use boat lift for our boat- had to stay in the water. We checked out early. What a pain to deal with but host called first about the problems with the pool n giving a small refund cause of pool issues n we couldn’t use pool -$300.00 refund back on our CC. Cute place but to many issue n not a healthy place to booked to stay. Sent photos to host of black mold in their house n leak in ceiling -won’t stay again until their issues are fixed

Myakka Magic

The location is the best part of this property. The home was open and the view was amazing. There were not enough towels and make sure you bring toiletries. There were nine of us with 8 towels, 4 beach towels and three microscopic soaps. The toilet paper just made it! Overall it was a great time and served its purpose well.

Gulf Cove

We loved this property! The pool and outdoor lanai area was fantastic, especially the fire table! It was easy to get to area beaches and activities, plan accordingly for traffic. Our group really enjoyed fishing from the dock too! Mayelyn, the owner, was very helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautifully appointed property

My husband and I had a wonderful relaxing stay. This property is all updated and very nicely decorated. It would be great for a family or a couple of couples. It had absolutely everything you would need and more. I worked a little while I was here so I enjoyed the two monitors that were in the master bedroom. Our hosts were very responsive, but we did t have any questions as everything was great. The only negative is the road noise from the bridge traffic, but I live in a quiet country setting so I’m just not used to that type of noise. But I would highly recommend this property.
