Wonderful experience. Beautiful property and home. Pool and lanai were amazing. Home was bright and pristine thanks to Carol. Well stocked more than any other vacation home we’ve rented. This house was gorgeous. If you like having full kitchen supplies and PLENTY of them, this house is for you. The heated pool was very large and the perfect backdrop to the large backyard and then open back bay.

Amazing! Beautiful property! Quiet & clean. Amazing view! We enjoyed the pool & outdoor living area!

Great family getaway! There wasn’t anything we needed! Fully stocked. We hardly left the property. Met Carol the Cleaner and she is wonderful! Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Wonderful

We have stayed at about 5 places in about the same are. This by far was the best. The pool was way larger then expected. My husband is 6’3 and could not touch at the deepest end. Art the manager was the best host very responsive and accommodating. Carol the house keeper was awesome she recommended a few things to do and places to go all that were amazing. The drive to the beach is easy and the beaches were not over crowded at all.

Fabulous Stay!

Wow! What a wonderful home and property-much more than we expected. The home was very neat, clean and well stocked. We loved the large open areas and the large spacious lanai pool area. The huge television is located perfectly. We could view it from the great room and the lanai area. We spent a lot of time out around the beautiful lanai area with the huge, inviting pool. The large backyard provided a great panoramic view of the water. So relaxing out there! The boardwalk at the seawall was great. We walked along it to watch some dolphins and the fish. This was one of our most restful trips. Thank you so much! We'll be booking again for the next 2 years.

This is by far the best vacation rental we have ever had. we have stayed at a lot of different homes and condos in Florida and the Cayman Islands. This place pays attention to all the little details that cause minor irritation at other places. We were concerned about not being on the beach as all the other places we have stayed were on the beach but we never had the desire to leave the property. It was the most relaxing vacation we have ever had. The neighborhood is very quiet. the pics do not do the house justice it is beautiful. We plan to make it our go to spot. And kudos to whoever moved the bins to the road and back. Maybe next time we stay you can pop in and say hello.

Incredible Vacation Property!

We’ve stayed in dozens of vacation rentals in several different countries, and this property stacks up against the very best of them! The listing photos don’t do the real thing justice…after unlocking the nice but unassuming front entrance, we actually stopped in our tracks at how beautiful the view was. Lots of natural light streaming in through the kitchen from the large covered pool area and view over the large pond/canal lake. Everything is provided, from linens and towels to pool toys and beach chairs. The beds were comfortable and the open floor plan layout allowed for ample room and casual seating and dining. We hosted a family birthday “murder mystery” party with 14 people, and the house was spacious enough itself that we didn’t have to even use the large outdoor patio (although we easily could have, with the two sliding glass doors). The kitchen was great with new stainless steel appliances and plenty of pots/utensils/plates to use, and we also made good use of the propane grill. The pool was crystal clear and clean, with a 7’ deep end and pleasant temperature. We even fished off the back yard and caught a catfish; there is a small decked area there that makes it easy to enjoy that. The washer/dryer also worked great and were very appreciated for after-beach cleanup. Art was great at communicating and answering the few questions we had. There honestly was nothing to want for in this property, and we’re already thinking of our next visit!

Beyond comparison.

I give this listing five stars but it deserves many more! My wife and I came to Port Charlotte to visit our daughter and grand children. The house far exceeded our expectations and all prior experiences with VRBO properties. As you enter the well appointed home you notice the large open living room with comfy couches and clear view to the outdoor lanai , pool and canal. The large kitchen has everything you could possibly need- plenty of dishes, glasses( both plastic and glass) , pots and pans of various sizes and a large set of perfectly sharpened knives. It is the extra touches that really made us love staying here- a selection of wines, the bright beach themed decorating, the pictures of birds and palm trees. The three bedrooms had comfy beds with an assortment of pillows. Each room was decorated with a calming beachy vibe. Loved and appreciated the double sink and large shower with shelves in the master bathroom. There was plenty of space inside the house for meal preparation, hanging out or curling up with one of the many books provided. As beautiful as the inside of the house was the pool area is where we spent most of the day. The large well maintained pool overlooks the canal and is so quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed starting the day with a cup of coffee by the pool looking out over the water. Everything you need to enjoy the pool was there floats for the kids and adults to relax in and plenty of towels. Looking forward to staying here again.

Wish our experience could've been like the other reviews

Upon calling property manager several times during our stay, we received a lot of "thats never happened before" as his responses. When we arrived the Pool was green, when the pool guy arrived 2 out of 3 times the clorine level was 0. The home was dirty, and had we many unexpected "visitors" at and in the home. After reading reviews from after we left, it seems like the cleaning lady comes over often to visit. She was at least a pleasant visitor. One "visitor" caused us to not be able to sleep in one of the bed rooms, wash laundry that didnt belong to us and stop at an industral hot dryer on our way home, to provent us from taking this "visitor" home with us. We took many pictures to try and rectify all our issues, letting the property manager know, and were treated poorly by him. He even threatened to charge us an additional $1600 if we left a review. He also made many false promises to help rectify the issues. Really wish our experience could've been different or at the very least received an apology for the circumstances. We will not be staying at this location again.

Caution to all other hosts! This woman is a fraud. Two days before she and her party were to depart – and already 5 days into their stay – I received a call from her. I returned the call immediately. I was always in constant communication with her. We have professional companies service the property on a regular basis for both pool maintenance and pest control. After receiving her phone call, I contacted both our professional companies. Both said that everything was okay prior to her checking in. I again called her to check in. She demanded a full refund yet chose not to leave the property. Being a “super host” of several properties, my stellar track record speaks for itself.

This was truly paradise. Very roomy and well furnished. the pool was wonderful and big. The property was very gorgeous at night, well lit and very well maintained. Art was indeed a true gentleman and great host. Carol became a good friend, very helpful. This house holds a special place in our hearts, had the BEST time and experience. Coming back next year!!!!

Great location for large gatherings

Only three of us spent the night so I can’t speak to the overnight accommodations for a large group but the layout, the flow, the size of the house was absolutely wonderful for a group of 12-18 people. It never felt too crowded. People had rooms to filter off to without being away from the party and the patio and lanai are gorgeous. Also, the property manager was always available and quick to respond. Definitely recommend.
