Waterfront Home with Heated Pool, Bikes, Dock and Kayak on the Myakka River

This lovely Gulf Cove home offers fabulous views of the open water. EXCELLENT location (no homes across the channel, semi-private backyard compared to other properties) close to beaches, parks, fishing, cruises, dining, and so much more. This area is known for its world-renowned tarpon fishing. If you are eager to see fish up close, charter a boat and enjoy the sport first-hand. The Gulf Cove area is also known for golfing and beautiful beaches!

Bring your boat and tie up right outside your private heated pool or use the kayak provided and go for a paddle out on the water. There’s only 1 bridge (20 ft tall) out to the Gulf of Mexico. Launch ramp and a community park is across the channel from your dock. The home is setup for a relaxing couples retreat or a family fun trip. Gorgeous Englewood beach is 10.8 miles away. (22 minute drive) Boca Grande is 16 miles away and it is STUNNING! Spend the day on the beach body boarding (boards provided), and the afternoons for a bike ride (bikes provided). Enjoy the evenings relaxing by the heated pool with the BBQ going and playing billiards or cornhole. This home has everything you need for your vacation pleasure.

The house was nice and clean. Plenty of room to spread out. Loved the pool and fishing from the dock. Great location on quiet street!

Beautiful Myakka River Get Away

Beautiful home. Very clean and plenty of accommodations. Close to beaches and shopping. Owner was extremely accommodating and communicated with us every step of the way. Highly recommended!!

We loved our stay here! The house had everything we needed and the dock was perfect for my husband to fish! We caught a stingray (we catch and release so no worries) We would stay here again!

Fantastic property and perfect for our family

The property was great. We loved having separate bedrooms and a pool in addition to spaces to hang out together as a family. We each had a place to get our own quiet time but shared many laughs over pool and air hockey in the rec room. The house was ideally located for us to travel around and sightsee different areas as well as head to the beach or go fishing. The owner was incredibly responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Best view ever

We loved the house and the view. The pool was perfect. Lots of boats to see going up and down the canal and out on the huge river. Rod was very easy to reach and very responsive. Everything was very clean. We rate this 6 stars.

The house was just as described and met all of our expectations. The owner communicated with us quickly if we had questions or needed anything. Really amazing location, perfect for lovers of water! We look forward to coming back next year.

Perfect place

Was happy I picked this place for my family of five. It fit us all perfectly and accommodated us all! House was clean, pool was perfect, the location was great! The host was as great with helping with any questions. The check in and check out was hands down super easy! House had everything we needed! The host even got us a stroller for our stay that helped with our visit and hopefully others who had kids! Definitely a five start!!!

Amazing Florida house on the water.

Went with my mother and 2 kids 6 and 8. The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed and more. We spent tons of time fishing right of the dock and cought tons of good sized fish. The kids loved jumping in the covered heated pool as soon as they could. Beds were firm but comfortable. Kitchen nice. Its within and hour of Siesta Key, closer to Venice and 15 min away from Manasota Key and Boca Grande. Will attempt to reserve this place every spring break if I can.

Perfect Stay on the water

My family and I stayed for 2 weeks and it was absolutely perfect. We really enjoyed all the extra activities like game area and the kayaks. My kids loved taking the bikes through the neighborhood. Taking the kayak out when the water is super calm is a must do activity. We absolutely loved this property and would come stay again. We loved the Port Charlotte community and there is always so much to do and everything is so close. The house owner was excellent at answering any questions and even helped us extend our stay a couple extra days. We had absolutely no stress while on our vacation. Perfect house perfect location. Thank you for allowing us to stay!!!

Family Fun

The house was impeccable. The amenities were wonderful to have. We used the bikes, kayak, cooler, beach chairs, pool toys and game table. Would loved to have tried the fishing gear but ran out of time. There was even a close beach walking distance from the house. The pool was fabulous. The views amazing. Rod was a great host and even arranged for us to stay another night. Highly recommend.

Schöner Familienurlaub

Wir haben in diesem Haus 4 Erwachsene und zwei Kinder nichts vermisst. Die gesamte Einrichtung und Ausstattung war sehr gut. Der Eigentümer war sehr bemüht nach unserem Umzug aus einem anderen Objekt uns den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm zu gestalten. Dafür möchten wir uns herzlich bedanken.
