Large two bedroom apartment with in unit washer and dryer. Newly renovated. Located in the center of Downtown Ellsworth. Full size kitchen. Walk in shower with glass sliding doors. Steps to some of the best restaurants in the area; Provender Kitchen, Finns Pub, Airline Brewing Co., Margaritas, Union River Lobter, Mortons Moo ice cream, 86this, Black moon public house, the Beer Garden at Fogtown Brewery right outside your doorstep. Easily access the variety of shops on the block and a short walk to the harbor, riverwalk and local grocery.
Seventeen miles to the visitor center at Acadia National Park and a short distance further to Bar Harbor and all the activities of Mount Desert Island.
Convient to many area beaches and trails.
One parking spaces is provided with the rental.
700 feet (3 minute walk) to public EV charging station.

The apartment was fantastic - very comfortable accommodations. It was walking distance to several nice restaurants and shops and an easy drive to the different entrances to Acadia.

Perfect location! The downtown is adorable with great shops and restaurants. Everyone is very friendly the location is ideal….out of the congestion of Bar Harbor but close enough to get to all the attractions the park has to offer. The apartment is very nice and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. One of the few times that the pictures posted online are exactly as it is!

This has to be the very best place to stay in the Ellsworth/Bar Harbor area. About 20 minutes from Hull Cove Visitor Center(where you can catch the Island Explorer to Acadia NP and about 20 minutes from Bar Harbor(which is crazy busy). This apartment is first class all the way. The decor and furnishings are all top notch. Comfortable king size bed in a huge bedroom. Second bedroom was just as big so we could just lay all our stuff our for the 5 nights we were there. The kitchen has top of the line appliances but with so many good restaurants in the area we didn't cook but did make coffee every morning. The town of Ellsworth is fun to explore and since you are right over the cutest store in town(Toko) what could be better! Having a designated parking space was a big plus. And a washer and dryer too. We loved everything about this apartment and appreciate all the effort Hans and Linda made to make this the best VRBO..

Loved this space. My wife, 2 kids, and i stayed here for 4 nights and loved this space. Great location, plenty of space, and fantastic decor. We truly felt like home here. The host was very communicative every time we reached out, and have nothing but good things to say about our visit. Highly recommended.

Overall it was nice. However I am handicap and did not realize I would have to climb 21 steps in order to get into the apt. It was difficult. Also the hot water was a challenge. There is no dishwasher and washing the dishes in cold or at best lukewarm water was disappointing. Furnishing and decor were comfortable.

Girls weekend in Acadia

Had the best experience staying here in Ellsworth. The apartment above Toko was phenomenal! Very clean and had everything we needed. The perfect location for exploring downtown. Ellsworth is 30 minutes from the park/Bar Harbor. After visiting Bar Harbor and how busy it was, we appreciated staying in a more relaxed vibe type town. Super cute shops and great food. Go to Momo’s for cheesecake!!! The hosts, Linda and Hans, were amazing and responded very quickly. Would stay again!!

Amazing space close to Acadia & Bar Harbor

Absolutely LOVED this apartment. Everything was seamless from the moment we checked in until we left. My 78-year old mom traveled with us. She loved having her own space with plenty of room. She also loved how wide the staircase was with a landing which made it easy for her to come and go on her own. The apartment looks exactly as the photos depict - fresh, new and a great vibe. The kitchen is perfectly appointed although there is no dishwasher which was not an issue for us as we ate all dinners out in downtown Ellsworth. We were super happy being in Ellsworth as it was calming after a jam packed day in Acadia or dealing with crowds in Bar Harbor. Make certain to visit the stores especially Linda and Hans store Toko!

We came into Ellsworth so we could have dinner at The Lost Kitchen. The apartment was perfect. My daughter and I even went downstairs and bought new outfits at Toko for our special night. All of the restaurants were within walking distance and wonderful places to eat. Close enough to Bar Harbor to visit, but we did not have to deal with the crowds.

Vacation near Acadia Nat’l Park/Bar Harbor

My husband I spent 6 nights in Ellsworth to celebrate our 26 anniversary! This property was in walking distance of great restaurants like Riverside Cafe and the Lobster Pot and shopping. We spent a few days in Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. A day seeing the Schoodic Peninsula and a day in Bass Harbor. The apartment was clean, had wonderful AC comfortable beds, seating and we even washed our clothes before heading to Boston.

Great stay for Mt Desert Island/Acadia

This apartment was a perfect place to stay for exploring the Acadia and Mount Desert Island areas. It was a 30 to 40 minute drive from everything we wanted to see, but it is very scenic so the drive times went by quickly. The restaurants and cafés on the Main Street of Ellsworth were all very good and convenient to walk to. The apartment was very clean and looked like it was decorated by a professional interior designer. The back bedroom did seem to get a bit cool as the nights were getting down into the 30s. The heat did not seem to flow into that room very well so we had to leave the door open at night and utilize the extra blankets. There was also a bit of early-morning road noise from the street side so be prepared if you are a light sleeper. Overall, we really liked this place.

This property was wonderful for our family’s trip to Maine. I have no complaints to report, but I do have a couple of suggestions for those traveling and staying here, especially if traveling with kids. The buildings in Maine are all old and this one is no exception. The floors creak and the doors squeak very loudly. My kids are all light sleepers (ages 5,3, and 3 months) so the doors squeaking made them toss and turn a bit and the bathroom door squeaking in the middle of the night felt like it would wake the entire neighborhood. Also, there is no filtered water on site, so you may want to stop and grab a bit before arriving. The owner provided several bottles in the fridge and that saved us from having to go out late to grab some when we arrived. Lastly, the parking is not super convenient. It’s in the back of the building and you’ve got to walk around to the store front. It isn’t a long walk, but for arriving with luggage you’ll want to park in the front and unload when possible. The water pressure is a dream, the beds are comfortable, the bathroom is beautiful, and the owners are communicative. What else could you ask for?

GREAT SPOT!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Ellsworth is totally worth checking out for anyone staying in the Acadia area. It had enough going on to be fun/hopping but quiet enough to get away from the tourist traffic of Acadia too. This apartment worked great for our family of 6, and was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. We love checking out National and State Parks, but are appreciating quieter/smaller nearby towns more and more in order to also get a break from all the crowds. We usually stay in homes but this was a nice change of pace - easy parking, easy shopping and restaurants right out our front door, and yet quiet and peaceful for a 'downtown' setting too. Highly Recommend!

Fantastic Place!

We stayed 5 nights and had a hard time leaving. This lovely apartment had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The location was perfect for our needs, right in the heart of town, with parking allotted, and close to Acadia, where we spent every day. You can’t go wrong here!

Great apt for a visit to Acadia

This 3 bedroom apartment is incredible. It’s right on Main Street in Ellsworth, cool shops and restaurants within walking distance. It’s about 1/2 hr to Acadia and Bar Harbor, great to get away from the congestion down there at the end of the day and chill at an awesome air conditioned apartment!
