The tranquil view and nature on the gulf marsh awaits you! This HOME is a 2 bedroom/2bath on the upper level. The master bedroom has a king bed and the 2nd room has a queen bed. The living room offers a sofa sleeper for additional guests. A large 2nd story screen porch and downstairs patio with grill and firepit. This is the perfect place to enjoy coffee on the marsh while taking in the view and watching eagles, cranes and other birds. + Plus during scallop season this home is 4 minutes from the boat ramp leading to the gulf no bridges!! ! 10 minutes from RODGER PARK and WEEKI WACHEE RIVER.

Amazing 2 family vacation

This property was ideal for my family(myself, husband, and daughters 10&14) and my best friends family(mom,dad, and daughters 17, 16, 14). The layout gave our kids a space to spend time away from the adults. The views over the marsh are amazing. And the location is close to area attractions, but also privides privacy!!

Serene location

House was nicely appointed and clean. Check in was easy and straightforward. The setting on the marsh is absolutely lovely. Sitting on the porch looking out over the view with coffee or a drink can’t be beat.

Our July 4th Getaway!

This house is absolutely beautiful! The boho chic theme feels so relaxing! It was extremely easy to check in and out. The property manager was awesome, and there if we needed anything! The house is completely family friendly and I would 10/10 recommend this house to anyone wanting to have a serene getaway!

Great place to stay for holidays

Kitchen had pretty much everything we needed to have turkey dinner for 8. We were visiting family in the area, and we wanted to host Thanksgiving for our small family. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate and we were unable to take advantage of the paddle boards, but we had beautiful views and plenty of room for 4 teen-young adult kids (they stayed downstairs) and 2-3 adults (my hubby was only there for a day and a half). Able to fit 3 cars in driveway. Lots of things to do close by.

Nice place to unwind

The place is nice and cozy. Spacious indoors with comfy beds and seating. Kitchen had everything we needed. Couldnt really fish on site but the weather didnt allow it during our stay to windy and cold. Gas grill doesn't work, got new propane tank but pretty sure the regulator is bad. Bought a charcoal grill and left for next renter to use. Couldnt get a response from management while there but may be an issue with the apps messanging service. No fooseball table either, the man child in me was a little disappointed but not a deal killer. All in all a good couple days away from our business. If management happens to see this review please ask the cleaners if they happened to find a mens wedding band as mine went missing while i was there and i could not find it before i left. It has the inscription i love you inside. Thanks

Pros and cons

Overall the home is nice, in a great location with a great view. The kitchen is well equipped with tons of accessories, cookware, etc. Bed was moderate in terms of comfort. Bathrooms are nice, but master lacks any shelving in the shower to place soap, shampoo, etc. and second bath lacks counter space at sink. The property manager was very quick on responding and offering to help with some issues. We had to pull the air filters out immediately upon arriving due to how dirty they were (wish we could post pics). The hot water turned off several times in the shower after just a couple minutes. Had to turn the water off, wait a minute and back on (tankless heater). Definitely need new towels/washclothes as the existing ones are old and stained. First time I have seen single ply toilet paper in years, so we had to buy our own. Didn't even know they still made that. All in all, it was ok but could have been so much better with just a little more effort.

Really nice place

This place is one of those rare VRBOs that was better than expected. Very clean. Very responsive and nice property manager. Beautiful spot. Rustic area. Local shrimp is everywhere around there. Only negative was the neighbor who runs their extremely loud pool filter motor during the day which messed up the peace of sitting in back when it was running.

Family Staycation

We had a great time. The place has a beautiful relaxing view surrounded by nature. We enjoyed biking, paddle boarding and playing foosball. The location is close to Weeki Wachee Springs State Park where we saw their Mermaid Show and kayaked down the river.

Relaxing and Comfortable

We had a very relaxing and comfortable family retreat at this home. Our party was large and made up of two families: four adults and six children (age 13, twins 12 year olds, 9 year old, 8 year old and 2 year old). The sleeping arrangements comfortably accommodated a party of our size. There is a pack-n-play available. The kitchen being open to the living room allowed us to stay connected even while cooking or doing laundry. My family alone has six people, so I wash laundry daily, even at home. The washer and dryer were more than adequate for keeping up with our laundry each day. The kids enjoyed riding the bikes on the path behind the house and collecting sea shells. We enjoyed watching the water birds, saw a few turtles, lots of gecko and thumbnail sized frogs. We all enjoyed the foozball table in the game room. We brought our Firestick and Nintendo Switch, so during those Florida afternoon rains, the kids could watch movies and play their games. There was also a deck of cards at the house and we played many games of Go Fish. Since my husband and I have older kids, we stayed in the bungalow area on the lower level, allowing my in-laws with younger children to stay upstairs with quicker access to the bathroom. If you have mobility issues, be mindful that you do need to go outside and upstairs to access the bathrooms. The location was perfect: close to Dollar General, Target, Wal-Mart and many restaurants. Pine Island Beach, Fort Island Beach and Sun West Park were some of the attractions we visited. If we did want to go to Florida theme parks, they are all with-in two hours away, but due to Covid, we chose to stick to the outdoors away from crowds and visited the nearby beaches. We loved our stay. We would love to stay again. I highly recommend this home.

Great vacation house for friends or family getaway

This property was within walking distance of bars and restaurants, less than 5 minutes from 2 boat ramps including access to Weeki Wachee springs! You can sleep 8 people comfortably upstairs in the main living area, cute kitchen and some beautiful sunsets were enjoyed over the marsh! Would recommend!

We choose this property and hope you will love it for the same reasons we do, we love the modern style, that it is in a fishing community, about 15 minutes from the beach, and close to all the attractions PINE ISLAND. WEEKI WACHEE STATE PARK, RODGERS PARK... LOTS OF LOCAL restaurants .... our grandchildren will enjoy for many years to come. Our space is on two lots perfect for a family reunion, small wedding, or gathering. The view is perfect for great photography and making lots of wonderful memories!

There is a boat ramp located close less than 5 minutes away, the restaurants and variety of fresh food shops is a short drive away. The Upper Deck has some of the best Margaritas in the state! Bayport has live entertainment nightly, karaoke is available at different bars. Weeki Wachee statepark ! RODGER PARK close by!!
